My daughter is been going to Woodcrest since she turned 2. It’s been almost 2 years that we became part of this family. The school is great and we never had any issues with the staff or programs. Everyone is so friendly and professional. My daughter is so happy and she always comes home with new stories and songs. The staff were well prepared and followed all the CDC guidelines for everyone’s safety. Thank you Woodcrest for providing a warmth and happy environment for are kiddos.
I love Woodcrest, my twin girls are 2 and they love it as well. They work well with the day care assistance program we are using and they are very understanding.
I am totally impressed by the staff and the curriculum at Woodcrest. My granddaughter has learned so much and has blossomed there. She loves going to school. She had gone to another school prior and it was a disaster.
We love Woodcrest! They been taking care of our kids for 3 years and we have nothing but good things to say about them! The teachers are great, our kids learn a lot, they bring animals to pet weekly, they offer soccer and dance and gymnastics and all kinds of other fun activities for the kids! And every other week they hold a Parents Night Out event where they baby sit the kids until about 9:30pm. We couldn’t be happier with them!!
Ms. Ranjana and Ms. Cory are the absolute best! My son love's them both and they take such good care of him. They always have his best interest in mind, and have been such a blessing to our family. We re so grateful to have him at Woodcrest. Would definitely recommend.
We absolutely love Woodcrest Preschool in Tarzana , in summer we started to look for schoolFor my daughter , because her old school was not a good match for her . We met with Mrs. Julie and toured the school and absolutely fell in love with it :) I loved they she offered for Sophia to come and stay a day and try it , the teacher are all so kind and welcoming . You feel the love , they have great educational curriculum , they notify you daily about your child , what she or he did , what they had to eat and what they will be doing next , the playground is great , the classrooms are amazing , they respect all cultures and overall it is great learning environment , I absolutely recommend this school and always tell my friends or who ever ask me about school to check it out I have my daughter there now and in summer my baby will also join :)
Dear Woodcrest, My previous review that I wrote, well truthfully was how I felt. But not because of woodcrest but because of all the problems I go through in my personal life. I felt that I had to vent my frustrations or lash out at somebody because I have no one to vent too. I sincerely apologize but being post partum well women who have been through this will understand. Now, I received a call from Laura the director, and she spoke to me and most importantly listened to me. This is not the first time she has reached out to me. She is a strong woman but I'm a weak sensitive woman and I misread her. After speaking to her today she truly cares about me and I asked forgiveness from her. I'm just going through a lot and so I wanted to say sorry. My kids love it there, as I mentioned before the teachers there are so wonderful Ranjana Ms. Evon, I just feel so comfortable with them and now with Laura. My kids enjoy that school. And if your a mom going through tough times call Laura she will listen and make you feel better.
The Teachers and staff at Woodcrest have been wonderful. They are caring and attentive and have helped make the transition to full-time childcare a positive one for our infant son.
My daughter attended Woodcrest Tarzana for 2yrs before we transitioned her to our home school (kindergarten). Her first 6mos with the 2-3yr old class was amazing. Ms Ana and Mrs Adriana are the best. Such an amazing duo they are. They cared deeply about each and every child under their care. I noticed my daughter excelling very quickly in her acedemics and social skills. These two set the foundation for her moving forward to more advanced learning. Woodcrest has some great outside class room programs like dance, play ball, lego, swim, etc... my daughter loved these classes. However, I did feela bit of pressure to put her in one of these programs because of other kids were going. But I restricted her to one program at a time and she understood.Week/monthly activities- I loved the on-going activities they had per classroom with potlucks, pajama day, dress up day, science experiments etc...Some cons:Parking is a bit rough especially around summer time and when there are events. However, Woodcrest now has a parking attendant that help facilitate organization to keep moving people in and out.Preschool has a high turnover. Once my daughter moved out of Ana's class she went through 3-4 teachers. They certainly have some opportunity t improve their retention of teachers.Overall, we really enjoyed Woodcrest Tarzana preschool. The new Director Julie is really making some nice changes to the preschool. And she is very warm and welcoming to parents. We will greatly miss everyone we've met throughout our time at Woodcrest.
My child has been attending Woodcrest Preschool in Tarzana,CA. for a year now. I love the staff there. The Director of the School Mrs. Julie is very thorough with how she runs the program there. Mrs. Julie has the ability to connect with every parent and child that attends the preschool. It's because of Mrs. Julie that I trust my child being there and have not considered any other School in the San Fernando Valley. I know my child is safe, well taken care of , fed healthy meals , socially developing on time and learning a lot of new things.
Our experience with Woodcrest has been terrific. The teachers are very engaging with our daughter, (Love Ms. Ana, Ms. Adrianna and Ms. Ayesha) . It took some time for our daughter to get accustom to attending daycare and preschool but the teachers were very patient and understanding with her (and us!). They are also great about keeping the kids engaged thru the weekly scheduled activities or additional classes (dance, kickball) and that they bring in outside activities such as petting zoos or people such as a dentist assistant to talk about brushing teeth. Very fun for the kids. Also love that they send pictures thru out the week to show what's going on . All in all - it's a great school (new director/fantastic staff) that I would recommend to anyone.
Woodcrest is definitely one of the best preschools! As a parent, I searched tons of places in the valley before choosing to bring my kids here. Both my kids went to this school and now their education is way better at kindergarten and 1st grade. The teachers are amazing, the staff really great. Especially Julie Robles, the director of the school is great. You can tell she truly cares about the kids and their success at this school. If you are looking to enroll your kids in a great school, DEFINITELY check out this school.
My 3 year old son would want to live at Woodcrest Preschool, Tarzana; he loves Woodcrest and that's all that matters. We started August 2016 in the 2's class. My son's first week was so difficult because he was crying whenever I leave him. Ms Julie, the director would swoop in and hold my son's hands and stay with him. As a director, she is on top of things but more than that her love for the kids is genuine. In the 2's class Ms Adrianna and Ms Anna are so loving as my kid went through potty training. I never felt my son was pressured or anything else other than loved while going through this transition. In less than 4 months my son moved to the 3's class and was potty trained. My son is now in the 3's class and we so love Ms Linda. My son is blooming under her care. He is more confident and he always wants to go to Woodcrest even on weekends. We are amazed with his vocabulary and writing and he tells us stories about his "academics" at school. Ms Linda is now working with me to encourage my picky eater to eat healthier food.In as much as we are Catholics and would like my son to go to a Catholic school.. I would keep him here where he is developing into a well-rounded individual.
Sherry Morales, Director of Woodcrest Preschool Agoura, is a great leader and champion for the children, teachers, and parents of Woodcrest Preschool. In my opinion, Sherry emboldens each member of her staff to be highly productive, effective, and confident child care providers, thus producing very happy, healthy, and educated children. Ms. Court, teacher for my grandson’s 3-year-old class, is deeply committed to each child’s personal and educational growth, health, and wellbeing. Ms. Court actively engages with her children and recognizes the fundamental value of taking the time to explain things to each child so they have a complete understanding of what they may be physically doing or learning at each stage of the day. Ms. Court works tirelessly to help each child build successful relationships with all the children in her care, thus resulting in an organized, nurturing, loving, and safe environment. Ms. Court exemplifies what a dedicated teacher is.
i love this schoolmy kids going to this school over than 3 years i really have very good experience i love the teachers and the principle they really carry and responsible and patient with all kids.
I really enjoyed my daughter's experience at Woodcrest Preschool. When my daughter turned 2, I enrolled her there and worked with Julie, the Director in getting my daughter acclimated to my dropping her off in the mornings as well as my picking her up. Julie was great with my daughter and in helping me be able to understand my toddler better. The education my daughter received was very good and I am very pleased with the overall experience. Kudos to Julie.
We love Woodcrest!!! The teachers are angels and so good with all the kids, and the administrative staff is very understanding and informative.
Ms. Lisa is the best...i wish they had a whole school full of teachers like her...shes loving to the kids, and has a genuine passion for what she does..she goes above and beyond for the school and they should be thankful and grateful that they have her there.
I absolutely love this school! The director, Danielle, and the teachers are all amazing! They are honestly like an extension of our family -- I think of my daughter's teachers and Danielle (since she is so wonderfully involved in the school) as second moms to my daughter. I am so thankful to have found this school. For a bit more background... My daughter has been attending the Agoura Hills location since February 2016. She hadn't been in any type of day care or school before then. So, while I was excited for her to start school and enjoy all the benefits that would come with it, I was also nervous about how she would adjust since she was the type of kid who could have a hard time separating from me and my husband. I am so thankful to her teachers, Ms. Tammie, Ms. Lisa and Ms. Maritza, and to Danielle, for how very loving and caring they were in guiding my daughter through her transition to starting school. They are truly amazing people and teachers, and I am so grateful that my daughter has them as role models to look up to as she grows up. My daughter loves her time at school, thanks to them, and I really can't recommend the school highly enough!
