I've only recently started working with David McKay Publication. I found an ad for them to do editing, cover, and publishing on IngramSpark and other formats. I jumped at the chance to have a professional company help with my debut novel. I had put it on Amazon but I want it available everywhere including overseas. My point of contact is Alicia and she has been absolutely wonderful to work with. She is patient (I have a tendency to be a procrastinator), yet keeping me on tract and inline. Just the right amount of contact to keep me accountable. I just signed on for the 6 month trial of marketing as well and I am looking forward to seeing the results. They are not focusing on my just my books but on promoting me as an Author, Artist, and Public Speaker. Depending on how well things go, I look forward to the future of working with them beyond 6 months. I recommend giving them a chance and working with them as your marketing and publishing company. Nov 28, they sent out a mass Black Friday email to 150 other people with all of our emails visible to each other.No unsubscribe button on their emails.I've requested to be unsubscribed 4 times.Jan 26, 2026, they just sent a FIFTH email trying to convince me to publish with them. (And they never did reply to initial inquiry.)Pure never-ending spam at this point.With the utter lack of professional conduct and zero compliance with SPAM acts, I strongly urge authors to go anywhere else.
