Horrible company.
Horrible company.Never place a pre order they push the deadline back without notification. When asked for a update the response/time is terrible. Refund policy is fraudulent keeping 25% on a product the can resell.Never ordering there again

Unless you’re willing to lose all your money DO NOT ORDER anything from this Webshop or it will be a very expensive lesson for you. I ordered several items from this shop, after a year of begging for information on my order I have given up. I’m convinced that this shop is a scam and I will try to pursue legal action against them.

WARNING: DONT PRE ORDER
After placing a pre order of hundreds of euros 1001hobbies failed to deliver after a year(!) of waiting.After keep having to ask for a delivery date and them postponing I gave up and canceled after being patient for a year.They charged 25% 'administration fee' resulting in losing more then a 100 euro in my refund.Never buying here again.

Shipping start takes >6 days
HANDING OVER the parcel to the courier is already taking 5 business days SO FAR. Only thing you get from their support are useless automated AI responses.Imagine ordering 7 days before Christmas and still not having your gift on time, amateuristic.

Steer clear of this company!After 2 weeks of stalling and telling me they are waiting for their supplier, I asked to cancel and a refund. They told me it would take one month for my refund.Going to Paypal to force the issue.

I recently received one of my many orders from 1001 Hobbies that was 2 models on this last order.I have never had an issue until this last order which showed up wrapped in a thin layer of bubble wrap only.Both models over ($100.00) were crushed so badly that the boxes were spilling out parts.After contacting customer service and sending pictures of the models completely crushed, I was informed they would not replace unles I could prove several parts were damaged.I informed them I would not know how many parts were destroyed until I started building the kit and didn’t want to start it and then find broken parts in the middle of the build.I was informed they would only refund my shipping cost and would not replace the models even if I sent them back.This is the last order I will ever buy from 1001 Hobbies due to the really poor customer service I received even after spending nearly $1,000. In models from them.Do not order from them when there are so many local US companies here that have much better customer service and shorter delivery times to get your order.So long 1001 Hobbies! You no longer get my $$$.

French company using a British URL
A company using a “.co.uk” URL, and quoting their prices in pounds sterling, but are actually based in France, which I found out when I was informed my parcel had just cleared customs, and then finding out I had a 20% customs charge to pay. I guess partly my fault for not checking close enough, and not looking at reviews beforehand.Eventually had to contact PayPal a month later to sort out a refund after I repeatedly asked them to recall the product as I wasn’t going to pay the customs fee. AVOID!

Do not trust this shop!More that 5 months ago I placed an order. They never send me the package and they have never refund my money. Telephonenumber is not working. Only possible contact is by e-mail but they don't do what they promise.It's a scam.

Crooked outfit - AVOID
Avoid, this lot are professionally incompetent and very shadowy. They are not in the UK which they falsely represent.I ordered a P40 book, a month later a set of F16 decals arrived. The returns process took a few more months and many emails, then 6 months later another set of F16 decals arrived.I still have no book and no sign of getting my money back

AVOID AVOID AVOID!!! UTTERLY DISGRACEFUL COMPANY.First of all, I received no order confirmation. They also lied about immediate dispatch the same day on 4/4/22 as I paid for express delivery and kept being told the item would be dispatched but it wasn’t. All of my e-mails and messages were ignored until I involved PayPal.They then had the audacity to respond to the PayPal claim on the 7/4/22 stating the item would arrive on the 6/7/44…in the past!?!? I paid £8.90 for guaranteed delivery by 7/4/22 and the item is now stuck in customs until the 11/4/22.That’s right…it’s get better! 1001Hobbies pose as a British company using a UK website domain and GBP currency but are actually based in France.DISHONEST AND COMPLETELY FECKLESS!!! DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY!!!

Useless
Useless, totally useless company, took over 7 days to dispatch the order. Even though they state 48hours Dont answer emails, customer service on telephone cant understand accents, emails not answered, and when i eventually got through to a girl call Juliet, she was the most useless and rude person i have ever spoken to. I explained my issues and the answer i got was "what do you want me to do about it", "we are a bad company" So good bye. Will never order anything from this company again

No Technical Support - Product Useless
I ordered a DragonForce 65 from 1001 Hobbies. It came with an MDH42 Tx (4 channel) and an MDH6DR Rx (6 channel). The instructions provided are for the J4C05 Tx/Rx and I'm unable to pair the remote. I have tried for months to get support and after a few replies to my emails, they have stopped communicating with me. Beware of this company as they provide no support.

I ordered a Tamiya Kit two weeks before Christmas as a present with a quoted delivery time of 3 to 5 days. Didn't hear anything for a week and when i sked them i was told it would be early January. What a bunch of cowboys. never again.

No contact until I emailed them about shipping info. Was told it would arrive in a week and within 24 hours was refunded. Still have no idea if it is on the way but I'm not holding my breath. They really know how to make the holiday season special.

They sent me the wrong item with a sticker of the correct item on the box. I ordered a model motorbike and they sent me a train. Disgusted and disappointed for my son who expects this for Christmas.

A huge scam and a waste of money and time
Probably the wordt experience i’ve had with a company that’s not wish or aliexpress. Ordered something in may that would come in 2 weeks. It never arrived and when i contacted them they told me they didn’t even have it in stock and that i can’t get a refund. Instead i got a voucher. I used a voucher and the same story again. I would get my item the next week, but to this day i have no idea where it is or when i can expect it. This is a straight up scam and the worst company to ever order an item from. Please stay clear and spend your money elsewhere.
