Great App!

I use the Apple Music app 24/7 and know it very well. There is lyrics attached also you have the option to adjust the quality of your audio. You can download all of your music so you don’t use your data. Very quality app love it!

Do NOT install this App!!!

If you use iTunes, do NOT install this app! Without warning, it immediately removes all of your music from iTunes and you cannot get them back. It then forces you to PAY for Apple Music if you want your music back. This is almost criminal!I will NEVER use any Apple product again. In my opinion they are manipulative.Spotify here we come!!!!

Really Poor App

Trialled the Apple Music service, cancelled after a few days, lots of music, but cant access it except on Apple devices.Really poor app. Ugly and sluggish. When you install it it restricts iTunes from managing or even playing your music. iTunes was a a great interface, Why they downgraded it is beyond me.

I was told this was the best service…

I was told this was the best service but how wrong that was when I tried to create an account all I got was jigsaw puzzle after puzzle repeats, in other words going round in circles and errors popping up. If you can't even create an account with these guys what's the point? I will try another service I haven't got time to keep messing about.

INAPPROPRIATE IMAGE

I had to buy a new phone that was compatible with my hearing aids so I got a new iPhone and was on Apple Music looking through the rock section and came across something extremely disturbing and I don’t think Apple Music and apple it self should of even allowed it on that app without some sort of cover up on the picture I found an album cover with a baby completely nude in a pool and they did NOT censor the baby’s private area it’s disgusting

APPLE STEALS YOUR TRACKS

Been on Apple Music for years. Before I subscribed I had 25k songs on my phone and numerous personal playlists. Used the family subscription to give access to family. Recently decided that I no longer needed it so cancelled, only to find that Apple had kindly deleted MY OWN 25k songs and all my playlists. What right do Apple, a multi-billion dollar company have to STEAL my bought and paid for tracks. If you have your own music on your phone, DO NOT SUBSCRIBE TO APPLE MUSIC. THEY WILL STEAL YOUR MUSIC.

Excellent Customer Service

Really impressed with my dealings with Apple Music as I purchased a ‘free’ trial but was charged £10.99 due to me already having had 1 ages ago. It was in the T n C’s so totally my fault, however they kindly refunded it. Shows to me that they are a decent company so when the time is right, I will take out a subscription with them rather than other choices. Well done!

Slow and complicated.

Yeah.. just complicated. I tried logging in to my artist account, and it took several weeks, while Spotify only took 10 minutes. I could not edit my artist profile due to ”age restrictions” even though I don’t have any. I had to invite another account to my artist profile to be able to even change anything. In case you’re an artist looking for a streaming service to distribute your music to, don’t pick Apple music, I’d recommend Spotify.

Fake - Got offered 3 months free subscription…

Got offered 3 months free subscription by Apple (via my settings) as I had a bought a new iPad - clicked on it but got charged £18.99. On top of my existing subscription. Requested a refund and had both this and my original subscription cancelled. No notification so only found out when I came to use it on a long journey. So had to pay a third subscription to get music for my journey. Found my library and all info had gone so had to reset it all up. Reported again and now have got a refund of the new subscription but still been charged £18.99 for a family plan (I’m normally on and individual). AND my subscription was cancelled again - so I’ve lost all my set up again too. No notification or explanation. Can’t report via apple support as it is all registered as refunded and there seems to be no way to raise anything that isn’t a direct refund on Apple Music subscriptions. I need to find a way to report to get my music back. Am wasting so much time trying to resolve and just need to talk to someone. Please tell me how! Also have two emails linked to my account and the subscription only shows if I sign in with one - so have to go through two log in security questions to find the right subscription

My experience started badly

My experience started badly , I had pressed all buttons to get the three months free trial but got charged £10.99 by my CCI called Apple Store and after some discussion they arranged a refund and sent me a promotional code for the three months free trial.

Better sound quality/selection

I'll start with the only negative: it took 2 hours of calling and emailing customer service just to MAKE AN ACCOUNT in the first place, so they lose 2 stars just for that. (Srsly, don't make it so hard for people to give you their money!)The positive: after that, it's been smooth sailing and the listening/interface is honestly superior to Spotify (which I've just left). I had no idea how much more there was to my fav tracks until I heard them in Lossless and Dolby. Like, layers of sound I couldn't hear before. It's been wonderful finally hearing things the way they were meant to be experienced. So, great job on that!

Such a unhelpful UI on iphone

Such a unhelpful UI on iphone. Theres no way to favourite radio stations on Iphone (this is a multi billion pound company btw) and theres no way for it to differentiate between 2 bands with the same name, they can just lump a heavy metal bands songs in with some jazz band just becasue they share the same name. Really poor in 2025

Apple Music.

Apple Music is probably the best streaming platform and let me tell you why. Audio quality is crisp and clear, even without lossless the quality is just highly standardised. The interviews and daily radio schedules are really the tip of the iceberg, and this isn’t really a critical aspect about it but I do love it because the hosts are able to share their tastes. Also DOLBY ATMOS — come on! Spotify does not have this, and yes I’ll be honest and say that some songs (cough, most) were and will be mixed in a way that Dolby ATMOS simply just hangs there like strong perfume that just suffocates, but on some songs it just elevates the experience and creates a new dimension(s) to songs that stereo isn’t able to do. It does have potential, that I’ll say however right now, I’m not really interested at all. And if you’re an audiophile, this is your calling. Lossless and hi-res resolution for me — for a lack of a better word — sharpened and polished the diamonds to really make the songs shine. All playlists are curated by editors, even though I barely listen to them regularly, but they are a great source of new discoveries. Unlike Spotify, not sure about Tidal and YouTube music but Apple Music, throughout the year gives you a playlist of your favourite songs so instead of simply giving you a report at the end of the year, you get an update every week and can revisit your “Replays” from the other years, which is pretty cool; and there milestones too like if you reached 50,000 minutes and stuff like that. The experience is very seamless, and in terms of visuals there’s cover artwork that moves (?) which is not necessary for me and I like that there’s a tab called (new) which shows all newly released music and updated playlists and for me it’s like going to the music store.

I only use apple music

I only use apple music. I'm also an artist on there.I listen to a lot of my own stuff, and I tell them not to pay me but I make like $10 a month in streams. I just donate it to charity every time I Get paid. I listen to a ton of other artists too. Spotify, Youtube, all the other streaming services are wack. You don't have to pay me Apple! Stop paying me, and thanks for keeping my 89 albums live. Peace
