this property management company aligns with slumlords

this property management company has no standards for their owners. They do not monitor the illegal actions of landlords and serve no useful purpose except for the landlord to hide behind. According to the owner, they do not forward the messages however, the owner is zero integrity so who knows? I requested a copy of the contract and received no response. This is in regards to Dynamic Synergistic Solutions and specifically the property located at 27272 6th Ave., Gill, Co. Aligning this company with a slumlord makes your company guilty by association. The owner blamed Avail for her lack of response to the illegal conditions.

Landlords be aware - fraud scheme on avail

Landlords, Be Aware.There is a serious fraud scheme going on the Avail platform where a former tenant can dispute a legitimate payment after moving out and Avail immediately pulls the money from your account with no notification, no verification and no request for documentation.If a tenant can simply click dispute and Avail automatically drains the landlord’s account, this platform is a major liability. It provides ZERO protection for landlords and hands all the leverage to dishonest tenants.Avail is not a safe system.If you value your money, do NOT trust Avail with rent payments, you can lose funds instantly without any due process.—————Update:After posting this review, Avail responded with a generic explanation about their ‘process’ I need to make this very clear, their reply is not accurate in, in fact it’s misleading.For starters, Avail did not notify me of anything, either being a dispute, or a temporary hold, totally nothing. The money was simply pulled from my account with zero communication. If there is supposedly a ‘process’ landlords are not included in it. No email, no warning, no request for documents.Your customer support also admitted that the billing department cannot be contacted directly and that there is no timeline at all for a response, it can be weeks or months, no one knows. That means landlords are stuck waiting for weeks while their money is taken. I saw another landlord’s 3months of rent was taken for the months that are in the middle of the lease. That is not a fair or transparent process.If what you claim were true, the landlord would at least get a notification saying, ‘A dispute was filed, we are temporarily holding funds pending review’ But nothing like that happened. The money was just removed.This situation is unacceptable and this will be reported to the respective authorities. Avail needs to stop pretending that landlords are protected here. We are not. The platform leaves landlords in the dark. That is the reality, it’s totally a fraud.

Identify verification procedure is unacceptable

I used Avail for a few years with great success. I'm only renting an apartment in the home where I live, tours are in person, I have my own application and I never required bank information from tenants. I liked the affiliation with Realtor.com, which I trust. When Avast added verification that required downloading an app in order to transmit a selfie, in addition to a photo of government ID, I was done. I have lived in the home for over 20 years and it's very easy to verify my identity. I would use Avail again, but customer service would not unlock my account without the selfie. Dealing with customer service was a highly impersonal and negative experience, which it did not have to be.

I called Avail to update my phone # as I purchased a new phone. The young lady that took my call said everything was good to go for me to get a verification code so I could access my profile which did not happen. So I called back and spoke with Anthony he then told me it would take 24 hours to get the issue resolved on their end. I waited 3 days and still cannot get the verifacation code. I called this morning and Anthony answered after I was on hold for 29 minutes and then rudely hung up on me after I gave him my name. In all todayI have been on hold for 90 minutes without anyone taking my call. Their help page says that they answer the phone in 3 minutes or less. I am trying to schedule a rent payment.Additionaly I was still on hold for another 45 minutes !

Garbage software

Slower than molasses, glitches constantly, pages can hardly load, and good luck trying to upload pictures.

Loved all the information the site…

Loved all the information the site gave. I would definitely use it again. My tenant completed her application without any problems. It’s a little touchy feeling and has a habit of logging you out, but I think that because of the security to keep information safe.

My boss has several properties that I help him maintain and this website made my job so much easier. I am not a realtor and my work for the company is actually AR, AP, HR and office manager so this has been extremely helpful. I had a few issues with setting up the payment but that was not Avail that was me. I had to call and get some needed info to solve the problem and the tech was so helpful and most importantly it wasn't some horrible help desk that you can't understand. The tech was patient, knowledgeable, and personable. This site is amazing and an absolute time saver.

Great company

Up to this point, the company does absolutely everything well. The customer service is second to none. The platform is very friendly, and whenever it's not, the customer service reps are sure to answer any questions completely and thoroughly.

I don’t like the way the app is not intuitive

I don’t like the way the app is not very intuitive and requires a new user to learn its quirks and call in for human support. I liked that the call-in support was very pleasant and helpful. I’m hoping that progress is made in making the overall use of the app more efficient in the near future.
