Bought a Berhinger QX1202 mixer then…

Bought a Berhinger QX1202 mixer then out of warranty started humming even with only output leads connected and no input leads connected, unplugged output leads and silence, so it was not my gear etc, took base off( as was out of warranty) and this seemed to cure it for a while, now it gets red hot and clicks when echo/reverb effects turned up, the echo fx also not working, these are short term and use a lot of energy as you can not place your finger on part of the case as it gets hot enough to fry an egg on where the heat sink is for the obviously under rated regulator chip which is not so good.Will not be replacing with any product from this company!They have lost it.

Impossible to contact this company or set up a Music Tribe account.

I need to register a new product for its warranty but Behringer make it impossible to do so. To get any support on your Behringer product you need to set up an account. The problems with this are:1. When you register an account (on the rare event you get this far) you receive an email to validate your account. This link then does not work. 2. If you select a password reset the option to submit your request is greyed out.3. If you try and re-register the submit option is greyed out.4. You cannot request any support unless you have set up an account. Which takes you back to steps 1 to 3 in a never ending loop of impossibility.Very tempted to just return my synthesiser to the shop.

Faulty item, lack of support

I previously liked Behringer for good value guitar pedals. However, I have a faulty jack socket on one, and although it's out of warranty, I've had nowhere near fair usage, fault nothing to do with wear and tear, or reasonable expected failure of a component etc. It was a battle to open a ticket, and once opened, they didn't listen and are not being helpful. For the sake of £30 they now have a 1* on my Amazon reviews instead of 5*, plus this review here, and ongoing word of mouth and other reviews as I'll alert other customers. It's just stupid.

Absolutely awful customer service

Absolutely awful customer service. Been trying for 1 month to register new product and website fails time and time again. Have tried online forms and X, and no reply at all. Makes a mockery of their tag line "We hear you", maybe they do, but don't listen or reply!

Lots of fake bad reviews here

All these bad reviews here take with a pinch salt. It's obvious to me they are deliberate fakes. Behringer make really good quality products. I have analog and digital mixers, synths, audio equipment from them for many years. And I have never ever had faulty equipment supplied to me. Whatsoever!!!! Everything still works now.

Power supply failure due to poor wiring.

Bought a power supply for a Behringer mixer 1202FX which failed on its third outing. It was replaced inmmediately under guarantee by the shop I bought it from, but as they didn;t want it back I thought I'd have a look to see what had failed.The mains lead into the unit was soldered directly to the transformer wires, except so badly done that the live mains lead had simply come unsoldered and was loose in the case. One of the others appears to have simply been twisted round a live wire with no solder at all. Not only a failed unit, but downright dangerous.

Stay Far Away From Behringer Products

This is the second time this year, already, that I get stuck with one of their products, because of the lack of a manual. Complex equipment, no manuals, no tutorials, no help from support, no activity on the forums...On the product pages on their website, it says:"Video coming soon!" But it says this for products that exist for over 20 years and still there is no video!Stay far away from Behringer products! Once they have your money, they dont even know you exist!

Dreadful support

I downloaded the X32 edit for Mac, only to find that my Mac would not accept it as the it did not have the proper credentials, so I had to contact the originator. I jumped through all sorts of hoops as I had to register and answer all sorts of questions, only to find that I was then in a loop that kept asking to me to log on no matter how many times I actually did! Dreadful!

Worst support site there is!

Worst support site I've ever dealt with! For just a quick simple question I had to make a account with alot of bullshit questions plus making a long support ticket with pre written boxes that didn't even came close to my problem no matter how I checked the boxes... So I just checked them as close as I could (not even close) and then wrote a long text about it instead so they wouldn't be confused because of the stupid prefilled boxes. And now I've waited alooooong time without answers. Worst support EVER!

I've had the XENYN SFX 1002 mixer for a while then it all of sudden had no sound output. Lights were on etc. Contacted Behringer Customer Support which wa a total waste of time. this product support is no goodBought a Yamaha

SCAM COMPANY!!!

Absolutely shocking! Technical Support is a myth at this company, as well as decent quality products! I have purchased 3 different devices from Behringer (Audio Interface, Synth and Microphone), and all of them have had issues and don't function correctly.I've logged MANY requests for Technical Support, which they automatically change the request to "resolved", even though they never contacted me. Slack and pathetic!There are LOTS of very negative reviews for Behringer online, I just wish I would've checked before buying any of their products. I won't be making that same mistake again and I hope others see these negative reviews and steer clear of this horrible scam company. Save your money for a DECENT brand, even if it is a little extra.

The Behnringer UMC404 doesnt work

The Behnringer UMC404 has 4 Instrument inputs but only 2 work. This is a common problem seen across many users on community forums. AVOID BEHRINGER. There are several glitches and things going wrong with this product involving connectivity, compatibility. AVOID

Not the best company I’ve ever dealt…

Not the best company I’ve ever dealt with to say the least.Issue with a mixer. Posted back to them using the label they supplied and nothing. I have been chasing them for days for a response and I’m just being ignored.We have a gig coming up soon and will either need to borrow a mixer (unlikely at this point) or buy a new one. If you are contemplating buying any of the gear and require reliability or even someone to talk to regarding the product discard this company. They are faceless and difficult to deal with.

Customer service is nonexistent.

The products are good. I am happy with them. However I had a minor issue and I created a ticket and nobody ever replied. I can recommend Behringer products. They sound great. The one star is for their "customer service."

XR18 mixer - poor, be warned!!

Think of buying something else!! The XR18 relies on software control via your tablet, phone or PC. Basically the built-in wifi to connect to this is useless, even when you are in the same room with it. It simply dosn't work! It may connect for a few minutes...then break. Forget it in a practice situation, let alone a gig. The other methods of connection (including hardwire!) are let down by the software app provided...X Air. It is useless and has also stopped being supported by apple devices. In android you just can't connect all the time. Shame on you Behringer for fales advertising and putting out a product which is unusable. The whole point of this mixer is it is controlled by useable software...which you don't provide. Take a look at all the forums for similar feedback.

My Behringer amplifier needs repairs

My Behringer amplifier needs repairs. I went online and contacted the only service center near me, which is more than 75 miles away. I called them and they told me they no longer service these products and cannot get parts. This amplifier is only 4 or 5 years old and has very light use. Based on this experience, I would NEVER buy one of their products again.

Really BAD service

I bought an behringer RD9. Within a few months it was broken. I asked the supplier in the UK , but they were not allowed to do overseas reparations. I had to send it to Eindhoven (NL). After a few months nothing heard and then contacted the repairshop. They didn't know anything about it and they didn't had a contract anymore with Music Tribe. Music Tribe arranged me to send it to a company in Germany. But now after again a few months (almost 1 year later) they are not able to repair as the managers stopped the delivery. Again no contract, while Music Tribe arranged the repairshop by themselves. Every time I email they say the same.... It is at my manager now... We are stil waiting for supplies ... Etc. No solution at all... ( new RD9 or send to a repairshop who is contracted etc.)The Service is really bad.After almost 1 year still no repair.Therefore 0 star!

Behringer is a Joke

I also bought a Behringer X-touch that is now a brick after 3 years use. I hadn't needed to update the onboard software until just after my warrenty had run out and the third party Bome updater bricked my unit. Nothing went wrong during the update and it was in brand spanking condition and they told me Id have to pay for the part, which was nearly half the cost of a new one. The music tribe support ticket navigation was horrendously complicated much like there Sysex updating process. Get your own update portal, stop being so stingy! The behringer qualified technician told me they had never seen any thing like this and had only seen this type of faliure in cameras. In the end I told Behringer they could keep the parts for others as they were in mint condition. I will never buy behringer ever again. Worst product experience of my 15 years in production. Ill pay the money next time. Behringer is rubbish!

Is this company a scam set-up?

I thought I would give Behringer a chance, even if they get terrible reviews. I was mistaken - they are the worst!I bought an X-Touch one from this company via Amazon on 31st October 2022, 8 months ago. The unit has developed constant power failures now and is useless. Amazon wipe their hands after 30 days so you have to go direct to the manufacturer website. That is when the fun begins...First you click on 'get a support ticket'... then after logging in it says check your email for verification. When you click on the verification my web browser warns me that the site linked to is not secure and could be faked and to proceed with caution! I continue at my own risk and hesitantly press ok... a message says 'your email has been verified and to select 'End Customer' or 'Industry Customer'. I select 'End Customer' and a screen pops up, headed 'null null' (not a good start) asking me to complete my registration with lots of boxes requiring personal and private information. The 'next' button is greyed out. After my browser warning there is not a chance in hell I am going to give my private info here, so I am trapped on a road to nowhere... Nothing happens... No way forward?This has to be the best scam ever. They make it impossible to contact support, actively block you from proceeding and keep your money. Nice.The sad thing for me is that the unit seems pretty well made and is useful, but under the hood there must be cheap parts.I will never again buy a (Music Group) Behringer product.
