We booked 7 day Route of the Sun Casa Andina tour for early Sept. in July. Paola was very helpful in suggesting alternatives. The tours chosen were very interesting, with many early rises to catch buses, trains and planes (Peruvian drivers are aces). I feel that the tour operators were too conservative in allocating enough time to get to various means of transport (4 hours for internal flight when 2.5 hours would do). In the end, there were some delays and cancellations, so could have done one more activity. The tour guides were energetic, spoke well enough English, though inevitable repetitions. Casa Andina Standard hotels are friendly, though somewhat primitive room heating meant dry air and sometimes hard to sleep. If booked individual transport and tours, probably could save 30-50% next time as Peru is currently cheap.

This tour was excellent for seeing all the sights. We did a 6 day tour which was economical, and keeps you moving, which worked for us. The package was accommodating if we wanted to add on days to take a rest or add on more sights. We were welcomed by our transporter at every plane train and bus stop with my name held on a sign, we felt like VIPs. The trip was very organized and well planned, our guides were friendly, the hotels were beautiful. Peru is a must see, one of the best vacations, certainly the most scenic, and Best Peru Tours was top of the line. Do not miss out!!!

Everything went perfect. Except for this...
Everything went perfect. Staff from the agency recieved us everywhere as expected: at airports, at hotels, at attractions, at bus stations, at train stations. Tours were profesionally guided. Hotels were decent. Restaurants for meals were well chosen. I would have rated with 5 stars if only they had not missed meeting us on our return form Macchu Picchu. We waited for half an hour when the train arrived, then a local guy helped us call the agency. It took another fifteen minutes from someone from to meet us, and the problem was that all vans had left from the train station back to Cusco, and we had to wait for about an additional hour until they placed us in a private car. We were exhausted by then. The truth is that out of many possibilities of things going wrong, everything went pretty good, except for this.

Best trip ever!
Highly organized. Staff and guides were always on time and very hospitable. Food was great. The hotels were good for the most part. We sometimes just had issues with hot water in the shower or water overflowing on to the bathroom floor. There was also no fans or ventilation in the bathrooms either.David Ochoa was a pleasure to do business with. I liked that he was always availlable and has provided excellent customer service. The activities and all the sites included in the itinerary were spectacular. This trip will be memorable for years to come. I would highly recommend Best Peru Tours to any one!

We had a wonderful trip and would recommend this Tour company. All arrangements went like clockwork, we were met at all stops and even when we changed our itinerary at short notice, they were able to assist in getting us back to Cusco. The guides were all knowledgeable and spoke great english. They treated my wife and I to a lovely buffet lunch in Machu Picchu for my birthday. Melanie was a very good agent and booked us into nice hotels and made the right travel arrangements for us. If we return to Peru then we shall use this company again.

Excellent service and knowledgeable guides. Touring Peru was stress-free, thanks to the experienced and helpful people at Best Peru Tours. Last minute flight changes by the airlines were no problem and our guides were waiting for us. The hotels met our expectations and we always felt confident that our tour would proceed as planned.
