They charged 50% of the original ticket price for their service. Just book with the bus companies directly and safe your bucks.

Easy booking, really smooth journey
The bus was extremely comfortable and clean. Booking it was really easy on Busbud and saving the tickets to Google Wallet was very useful.

Tickets to imaginary bus.
Purchased tickets to go from Oaxaca to Puerto Escondido Mexico using Ado Bus Line. Round trip. All went well going to Oaxaca. Return trip not so much, our seat numbers were 43 and 44. The said bus doesn't have that many seats. Third party sales doesn't always know how many seats a bus has we were told by driver. No bus till next day. No recourse from BUSBUD, no refund or changes allowed?

Late arrival, but nice & clean buses.
We arrived Punta Arenas airport late, & booked the last bus to Puerta Natales, the bus was half hour late, & as we were the only two people waiting we felt a little worried, but it did eventually come, & was very clean & comfortable, so all is forgiven 😊

For some reason it switched my arrival and destination and then I cancelled the ticket and on the second go around I didn’t get my refund and I just repaid but didn’t get my seat selection

One of the worst services i have seen
One of the worst services i have seen, their pickup address didnt match the actual location where the bus stopped, it was on the next building. It may be ok to walk for a normal healthy person. but we were travelling with a cancer patient and ended up missing the bus. its been 4 months i raised a case and i havent got any response from them, Very shameful

I would advise folks to stay away from…
I would advise folks to stay away from actually purchasing a ticket via Busbud, and use it only to check pricing for different service-providers ob a single site.Otherwise, if your trip has any issues, you will not be able to solve them directly with the Bus Company (service provider) and will have to go through all circles dealing with Busbud (which is hard to get in touch with).I.e. my trip was cancelled by a Service Provider (due to a broken bus issue). When I contacted them - they said "we have refunded all the money to the Busbud". Trying to get hold of the Busbud is another quest:- The AI chatbot said that the credit card I provided them for refund (and the one I used to purchase tickets) does not match their records (and I only have 1 card). - Then I was redirected to a real agent. From whom I only got an automatic response, and from whom I have not heard back for 5 days now.--------------------------------------------------------UPDATED: (I guess after the original post here) I quickly got an email from a real Busbud Support Person, and the issue was solved within 2 days. I'm happy now. Thanks to everyone.

Sold invalid ticket
I bought a ticket from Glasgow to Belfast with this company travelling with Citylink/Ulsterbus. I wanted to cancel/exchange my ticket more than 24hours before travelling. When I phoned Citylink/Ulsterbus they told me that they don’t deal with Busbud and that my ticket was not valid. There was no way of cancelling or changing the date. Busbud is a scam.
