I would not recommend this business. I purchased an item which came with a 10 year guarantee. Having spoken with the Company today, I have learnt that the item has now been discontinued. On that basis they will not provide me with a like for like replacement and told me there is nothing they will do. They even have an almost identifical item on their website currently. I am currently refurbing several properties and will take my business elsewhere. I would not recommend.
I bought the Aqua Dart Venturi 6 quadrant shower cubicle from a supplier in the west midlands in Oct 2021, a couple of weeks ago whilst the family and I were downstairs we heard an enormous bang from upstairs, we discovered that one of the shower doors had shattered leaving glass everywhere. I contacted our supplier after reading about the lifetime warranty on the website and discovered we weren't covered by it. They advised that this can happen due to temperature change or incorrect fitting by the plumber, I was not happy but needed to get the shower sorted so asked if I could buy a replacement door and was advised that I couldn't buy the door on it's own and had to purchase a complete shower unit!! Shambolic, avoid if you can
Been waiting over six months for part of a shower door. At this point, whether it is or isn't, it feels malicious given how little effort they have made and how little they care. An utterly hopeless company.Save your soul and go literally anywhere else.
I initially phoned Aquadart Bathrooms to ask for advice on the Magnetic strip that fits onto the IDENTITI 2 PIVOT 700mm Shower Door. I was given over the phone the code 0SA-12-P-010 Magnet set and also the 0SA-12-P-001 Bottom Seal which was correct. The Magnet set however was for the frame strip and not the Pivot door. I would have thought that a set would mean both magnet seals not the one magnet strip (the wrong one) which they sent. I have sent 4 emails including photos of the contents when it was delivered but have had no response from them after being told on the phone to send an email with my problem. Also can not get through to speak on the customer service phone number. So after paying £61.95 for the order I would not recommend using them.
Really difficult to know what star rating to give here as it totally depends on whom you are dealing with in Customer Service. One person - SAM GLOVER - deserves five stars or more, whereas the rest of the outfit deserves one star or less! My experience has been exactly as others have reported; fobbed off and ignored until I learned of Sam from other reviewers and marked my next e-mail for her attention. Hardly had I hit 'send' but the phone rang and it was Sam ready and willing to resolve my issue! I nearly fell over with surprise but was delighted!I purchased and installed an April shower door in 2020 and was initially very pleased with it but, after just a few months, the chromed plastic cover strips for the side fixings started to show strange marks that looked like curved splits (actually a failure of the chrome coating). These gradually grew more numerous and severe until I took the matter up with Cavalier Marketing as owners/agents for April Products in January this year.A week went by with no response, so chased and was then asked to send photos, which I did immediately. Another week or so with no response, so chased again and was then told the covers were considered consumable (!) and not covered by guarantee (only seals and magnets stated as not covered by the 10-year guarantee in the original instructions). I was told I could purchase them as spares from their web-site - at £40 for two plastic strips!E-mailed again, explaining why all this was unacceptable but received no further response despite chasing. Then got hold of name and contact details for the CEO from the web but the phone number was no longer valid, so e-mailed what appeared to be the CEO's PA. Still no response. So tried getting to the CEO via sales; again no response. By now it was the beginning of March. Then I discovered about Sam via Trustpilot reviews and everything changed totally. One e-mail marked for her attention and a resend of the photos resulted in a superb response. Replacement strips were speedily sent FOC (wrong ones initially but Sam got this rectified at lightning speed) and these have now been fitted.I can only hope that the design or manufacturing problem with these strips has by now been identified and rectified. Meanwhile, thank goodness for Sam, who deserves the CEO's job! Let's also hope that she can persuade her colleagues in this company to mend their ways and give the sort of service she does.As a final note, the Cavalier company recently seems to have adopted the Aquadart brand name.
They were the supplier for better bathrooms and I had many issues with the delayed order and when arrived it was faulty. After many weeks trying to resolve it with better bathrooms. I called Calvier directly and Sam resolved the issue instantly and even supported with a delivery day and time. If it was not for Sam all would get 1star. Luckily they have Sam to show all how Customer service should be handled.
I have given this company a high rating solely because of Sam, who in my view deserves a pay rise. After waiting a month I made several unsuccessful and frustrating attempts to get in touch by phone and email to check their progress in processing my order, and received a number of promises that someone would call or email me back that were not kept. I finally spoke by chance to Sam, who I was beginning to think had been made up. Sam looked up my order within seconds and promised a delivery in 48-72 hours. The part arrived in 48 hours. The one positive thing I can say about the company is that the part was as described and in good order. I just wish their customer service (- Sam apart) was more responsive.
Has any company ever done a better job of trashing its own reputation? Having ordered a door seal on 27 September, as I write this on 7 December they still haven't come up with the goods. A week ago I managed to get hold of their "customer service" and requested a refund, which is yet to happen, although I finally managed to speak to their accounts dept who promised to make a bank transfer - we'll see if that happens. My recommendation would be to avoid this company like the plague. While individual employees may be doing their best, as a whole I've never come across such complete and utter incompetence. They'll soon be going broke at this rate.
NIAGRA SHOWER FAULT ( TEMPERATURE CARTRIDGE ) I first contacted customer service at Cavalier bathrooms approximately 5 -6 weeks ago after many phone calls and promising from customer service eventually she said she posted temperature thermostat for niagra shower. After 2 weeks there was no parcel I contacted shop where shower purchase was made and they spoke to customer service who told them Parcel must have been lost .customer service said she would send out again with Dpd This parcel was returned to Sender After contacting customer service Again more than a week ago now I still have not received my thermostat or any response ??????
Missing part from shower and 2 weeks on and still nothing from them!My supplier also tried ordering a whole new shower from them and nothing has arrived 2 weeks later.
April 2022 fitted a shower tray sourced from Cavalier bathrooms through a plumbing merchants in Hollinwood Oldham. One of five faulty ones that all cracked. The company refused to refund and compensate. Do not buy from this company they are a disgrace.
I purchased a shower tray from Bella bathrooms and it turned out to have a crack. When I raised my complaint to the store, they basically shrugged their shoulders and passed to the manufactures (Cavalier) who promptly denied any accountability. A crack from drain to the end of the tray appeared and they blamed the install, without even looking at it.
Customer service by Sam was absolutely A* really cannot thank you enough for the efficient way you dealt with the query. Great company and products
I bought an Aquadart shower tray which discoloured after a couple of years. They have claimed it was because of the cleaning products I had used. When I clean the tray I clean all of it but the discolouration was concentrated to one area only. They wasn't interested, never had this issue before they say.The shower tray has now developed a crack from the centre of the tray where the waste is located. From just me completing the questionnaire they have ascertained its an installation error. I didn't install it on 18mm ply. I could have installed it on a runway, the centre of the tray where the waste isn't going to be fully supported anyway as you have to allow for the waste!! Absolute joke. Be warned, any issues its all down to you so be prepared!!
Brilliant service from a lady whose name is Sam she couldn't have been more helpful and she really went the extra mile. I only wanted some spare door rollers but nothing was too much trouble, I hope she is well valued
Quite simply, Cavalier Bathrooms aren't very cavalier. If you want good customer service with your bathroom product - then AVOID this Company. They're not interested in the customer. After having an issue with a cistern provided as part of one of their vanity units, myself and my bathroom supplier raised it with them. We had to replace the cistern twice and in the end, on the third attempt - have gone with a cistern from another manufacturer which has been perfect. Additionally the handles on the vanity unit have been faulty in that the material, within a wet bathroom, has bubbled and flaked. Having raised the complaint, they couldn't have been less interested. Their first response to my complaint started with "We rarely have any issues with these cisterns as the quality of them is very high, so I find it highly unusual that there was an issue with 2". They're arrogant and not interested. They wouldn't do anything regarding the cistern and only offer to replace the handles, like-for-like, which I didn't want to do given that we'd had a problem with the first set.
Bought the Rolla 8 shower, nice bit of kit, deciphering the instructions was a bit tricky but got there in the end. Ended up with some missing components which Sam in customer service firstly identified then promptly dispatched FOC. Brilliant and thanks.
Sam was so lovely in getting my replacement shower hinge to me quickly and efficiently - and without fuss! Thanks so much! ☺️
I found getting through to customer service incredibly difficult the phone system will not let customers through, eventually after an email they responded quickly and kindly to a problem I had with a shower door which I knew was a fitting problem not a product problem. Sam in customer services was brilliant as was the engineer Dan who resolved the issue in a kind, professional manner, if only my plumber had been so professional.A shame about the awful telephone system.
