Referral by a specialist to a certain Doctor at the Clinical Neurology Specialist and unable to get any reaction due to the scheduling department.
I was actually unable to have an experience with this Clinic ONLY due to the scheduling staff. My husband was referred to one of the specialists and it took me days to get in touch. Left voice messages but they were never returned. Finally got a hold of a scheduler and she asked me to provide as much information on my husband's condition. That was on a Tuesday. September 9th. She said she would be seeing the doctor on Wednesday and she would go over all the information to see if it was something the doctor could address. It took quite a bit of time to provide bullet points. I sent them off on a Tuesday by email and asked her to send me back a fast email to confirm she received. Nothing back. A week went by and I called again only to speak to another woman. She told me the initial scheduler I spoke to did not meet with the doctor and was meeting with him tomorrow but would call me this afternoon the day I called. I heard nothing so I wrote an email to original scheduler telling her she was/is quite unprofessional based on behavior and mentioned the referral doctor will be very upset this has occurred. That was two weeks ago and to this day nothing heard. I am sure none of the specialists in the two offices have a clue of what is going on with their staff behind the scenes. As I mentioned in my email first tio this scheduler, impressions are lasting impressions and based on her lack of communications this very much reflects on the doctors. In summary, my husband has decided not to pursue with the doctor who we were referred to because the treatment so far reflect on the doctor whether he/she are good at what they do. This was based ONLY OF THE LACK OF PROFSSIONLISM DISPLAYED BY HIS BACK OFFICE STAFF.
