I brought my car in to get the ignition…
I brought my car in to get the ignition switch replaced, since it had gone out on me a few years back and know its symptoms when it would go out again. They held my car for three days and spent the last 15 minutes putting an "new" 'ignition switch' in my car. Although, I am not even sure that they put a "new" switch in, since I am still having trouble turning the switch over. When they went to inspect the whole ignition switch path to the transmission, they found out that the "new" a/c unit/compressor they installed about a month earlier had a serious leak in it, and the service advisor confessed to me that it was leak caused by this garage's staff when they put the new a/c in, about a month before this. They ended up charging me $259 for two hours of labor, which I believe was used to fix their mistake with the a/c system. No other repair was made on my car at that time. I contacted the owner, David George within 24 hours, using the business email to no avail. Finally, two weeks later I notified David George of my issues on his Facebook account. Then, a few days later, he replies and takes no responsibility and accountability for what I was talking about. He referred me to talk to the service advisor about my concerns about the billing. Talk to him, lol, he is the one who over billed me. In addition, the service advisor told very private information to a new worker they had just taken on, that I had shared with the service advisor which put me in possible harm, since the worker told his ex wife that I had tried to get him fired from his new job. Not true at all. I would strongly not recommend this business for any work to be done on your vehicle. I am giving up a 3 yr. warranty on my a/c unit to make this recommendation and take my car elsewhere, already have, and very happy with a real, professional shop.
