I Smell a Rat

I was prepared to pay cash for a fully tricked out 2026 Panigale V2S but, after trying to navigate and use their utterly incompetent and useless website, I started to smell a rat. The ratings on this website confirm what I was beginning to suspect and I am glad I found out before wasting a penny on company that does not stand behind its product or value its customers.

Ducati are the most arrogant money…

Ducati are the most arrogant money grabbing brands I have ever had the misfortune to deal with. I would rather support the more honest brands with my money. It’s Never red for me Just don’t do it you will regret it.

RUBBISH CUSTOMER SERVICE

Having owned and still own many Ducati's for over 35 years I required a caliper rebuild kit for my 916 Strada and a master cylinder rebuild kit for my 1199s so I called Ducati Coventry. Helpful as always but these kits are not available due to safety reasons ! I decided to contact Brembo who told me Ducati blocked the sale of repair kits in the UK but unable to give an explanation as to why.I called Ducati UK and spoked to a representative who asked me to email her with my problem. She failed to respond so I called again and once again failed to respond so I called again to be told the Parts manager Steve Cox said Ducati wont supply the parts and I have to buy new parts at an exorbitant cost. The Strada a classic bike should retain it originality which I wont be able to do with a new part they don't care. In summary they have no interest in customer service and I have been informed are in breach of the Cartels and Competition Act of 1988 by refusing to supply parts or information on parts but they don't seem to care. Cancelled the order for a 2025 Streetfighter S will buy an Aprilia instead and will not come back to Ducati.

Having spent £29,000 on a bike

Having spent £29,000 on a bike, had a couple of issues with it and the dealership first class, ordered a few items with the bike and 3 months later still not delivered to the dealership, absolute joke. The decided to switch to a different model and asked for a PX price on my nearly new bike. Was offered £6000 less that I paid for it 12 weeks ago, nearly fell off my chair laughing at the offer.Time to move brands I think as this company is a total disgrace

Glasgow Ducati probably the worst…

Glasgow Ducati probably the worst experience ever in all days of having a motor bikes. The dealership and the bike from day one what an absolute joke. I was fore warned about going here but I done the un thinkable. I had rejected the bike after 15 hours with the shop and Black horse at 9am the next day. 3 months later still dealing with this and the Ombudsman2024 Multi Strada V4s rally full 2k miles 20k for the bike. When picking the bike up it hadn’t even been washed that was the start. Unfit for purpose No test rides on used bikes Then found out it been an x demo bikeI had the bike to 2 different independent garages which were vat registered but wasn’t enough for Black horse even took it to a garage who fixes Ducatis muck ups even he couldn’t believe how rough the bike was running and the state of the bike. Frustrating and annoying is an understatement. If it hadn’t have been for the VAG group taking over there wouldn’t be a Ducati. So be warned guys stay away there’s better dealers and a lot better bikes for less out there. This is a desperate motor cycle company to say the least. Don’t expect any correspondence from Ducati at all. Hope this helps I am only one of a few with a review look at the otheres

DON’T BUY DUCATI

I was riding it when it suddenly stopped working and wouldn't turn on. I took it back to Mediamarkt, who sent it to a Ducati factory in the Netherlands. After almost a month I got the scooter back; it worked, but it had a super bad battery that doesn't even last 30 minutes. When it's low, it barely goes 10 km/h. I took it back to Mediamarkt again, and they sent it to Ducati again, where they say that we breached the warranty because we put a tracker in it! Moreover, they weren't careful with the scooter, because there were scratches on it that weren't there before. So I absolutely do not recommend this scooter and Mediamarkt does nothing to help the customer.

I am deeply disappointed and frustrated…

I am deeply disappointed and frustrated by the services I received at both Ducati service centers I recently visited. Here's a summary of my experience:On Yer Bike, Aylesbury: After a routine service on 7 October 2023, my Ducati Scrambler 800, which was in perfect condition prior, broke down within 1.5 hours of riding. When I contacted the service center for assistance, they simply redirected me to the extended warranty and advised using Ducati roadside assistance, showing no accountability or genuine concern for the issue.Blade, Oxford: After having my bike towed here, the communication has been nothing short of abysmal. Despite multiple calls on my part, I've been given the runaround, unfulfilled promises, and a lack of updates on the status of my motorcycle. The main reasons for my dissatisfaction are:Lack of Accountability: A vehicle breaking down so shortly after a service suggests potential mishandling or oversight during the service.Poor Communication: Not receiving timely updates, especially when promised, shows a significant lack of respect for customers.Disregard for Customer Concerns: Being redirected without a proper investigation into the issue and unmet promises for call-backs reflect poorly on the brand's customer care. These recent experiences have severely tainted my view. I advise potential customers to exercise caution and perhaps seek reviews or references before choosing a service center.

Worst experience ever

Worst experience ever. Left my Multistrada 1200S at the Bogota dealer because of a sensor failure in February. They then 'lost' the bike and took 3 months to 'find it back'. Overcharged me for the repair and when I went to pick it up nothing had been done. Wrote Ducati Italy they did not give a f*** and told me to figure it out with the Bogota guys that never respond. Finally got the bike back it turned out the problem was not the sensor they charged me for and took almost 4 months to replace, but the cable from the sensor to the ECU. As much as I love Ducati I will never buy one again because they are a bunch of scammers once you buy it.

After purchasing a ducati motorcycle…

After purchasing a ducati motorcycle and after only 4000mls the paint is flaking off and Ducati seem to think this is acceptable. They will not put it right due to it no being a mechanical issue. Veery poor after service for a so called quality brand.

Cheated by Ducati Lisbon and Ducati Italy will not help

I bought and had a brand new Ducati Desert Sled shipped to Madeira on the agreement that they would do the 1000 km service before shipping it because I didn't want to buy it if I had to go through all the hassle with shipping the bike back by container ship after just 1000 km. They offered me to do the 1000 km on dyno and then do the service before shipping which I accepted. I then receive the bike with only 3 km on the clock and when I ask why, they just respond 'because we didn't do the 1000 km and service' - So now I have to find a way to ship it back to mainland Portugal otherwise I won't have any warranty on the bike.I then contacted the Ducati department in Italy to have these idi*** in Lisbon fired but I then get in contact with a robot called Carolina who can only give me the same answer over and over again that they were in contact with the dealership who said they did offer me to do the dyno and service (which is correct - but not the problem, the problem is they didn't do it and therefore sold me a product missing a very important part of our agreement) no matter how I explained it to the robot Carolina, she just kept "inviting me to contact the dealership to arrange shipping back the bike and having the service done"I have proof of the entire communication, even 9 days before I asked if they could send the bike the following Thursday (the shipping company departures every Thursday) and they said 'then we will not do the 1000 km and service' to which my response was 'Okay, then we wait until next Thursday, that's fine' ... They then waited to next Thursday and shipped the bike (without the 1000 km and service) Next step in this for me is to contact the police.

Non EU customer

I purchased a sweatshirt in a size medium - when it arrived it fitted well but was a bit snug for how I like my clothes. Not a problem I’ll return it for a size large. Emailed Ducati and was given a returns form to print off. Filled it in and returned it. Received an email saying I had been given a refund… much less than I had paid! Turns out you have to pay the tax back in to Ducati as we are a non EU customer even though it was under 100 euros … not happy but hey ho! I assumed they had sold out of the size I wanted, so checked. No plenty of stock ! So I emailed to ask why had I not been given a return in the size I asked for… apparently as a Non Euro country we do not qualify for returns… now I may of missed this somewhere in the small print but now I have no sweat shirt and over £60 out of pocket!I think this policy should be made clearer to uk customers. I will not be buying directly from Ducati again and urge other Uk customers to do the same.As a loyal Ducati owner and fan of the brand I feel pretty cheated tbh… using the fact we are no longer part of the Eu for not exchanging goods is rubbish. The response from customer service was the usual faceless corporate response! So much for the Ducati family we ride as one !

Will buy a BMW instead

They ignored me when asked for a test ride. I received an email asking how the process and the ride were and been ignored again. BMW will probably appreciate this!

The MOST difficult insurance provider I…

The MOST difficult insurance provider I have EVER dealt with. Their documents were eroneous to the extreme - bore no resemblance to the proposal I submitted...then started hiking up the price, THEN had to cheek to want to charge £30 to make the changes !! What a scam. Harsh, hard-nosed representatives with no knowledge of the model range, just chasing CASH & FEES. I refused on the basis that my proposal was 100% correct and THEIR documents were in error. I will NEVER use Ducati Insurance again - the DUCATI brand has now been tainted forever. Having owned several Ducatis over the years, I now feel the DUCATI brand has become synomous with conceit & greed - VERY Disappointed with DUCATI - time to change to a more customer focused brand. I suggest all Ducati Owners think twice about using Ducati Insurance - it's way above normal premiums and is just a complete rip-off. Ducati ought to be ashamed of how their Insurance division is operated. I will be writing to Claudio Domenicali personally, to express my disgust and disappointment of Ducati Insurance.

Purchased a new Panigale V2

Purchased a new Panigale V2, delivered from dealer to my house would not start, got sorted in the end, few weeks later leaking coolant, told by another dealer who is closer by, no need to worry as they all leak a bit ?, few weeks after this took into same dealer for first service, went to pick up, was told cannot take it home as leaking, but minor, they would not lend a bike, had to get a lift 45 miles back home, took 3 1/2 weeks to replace the coolant clip as not many staff but are very busy, asked 3 other dealers if they would help, no interest at all, called Ducati not able to get an answer at all, emailed Ducati in UK and Italy, still not come back to me over 3 weeks later, sadly Ducati bikes and their service is still in the dark ages as I was warned, not surprised Italy is billions in debt over many years, useless service, sold back to dealer, conclusion buy another bike, never had issues with many other manufactures for 25 years.

Took my Ducati 959 for repair on…

Took my Ducati 959 for repair on insurance and to be checked over following a rear end shunt. Ducati La Rochelle France had the bike for over 3 months, when I collected it I was told there was no paperwork/guarantee. Once home on closer inspection all they had done was flash over the swing arm without removing it, there was overspray on components and dirt still on the connections to the engine. I wrote to customer services and asked them if they thought this was good practice following a rear end shunt......they did not reply. It’s worse because at the dealership I requested that they removed the swingarm to check for hidden damage but they didn’t bother even though I left written instruction to do so. They have release an accident damaged bike without ensuring it is safe to ride. I informed the dealer that I was not happy and that the paint finish (which I didn’t want) is so thin the primer is visable through, his reply was an invitation to buy a new bike from them. Cowboys avoid DUCATI LA ROCHELLE

"Customer services " what a joke

"Customer services " what a joke ! I Have an issue with the Akrapovic exhaust Workmanship 2nd rate on part of the exhaust."Ducati uk" seem to believe that this is not the case matter closed . Same old story take your money and are not interested after that, I didn't expect this from a supposedly high end company as "Ducati uk" ! I dont suppose that the "customer service dept" would know a first class piece of engineering if it hit them bang straight between the eyes!Still never mind the small man gets shafted again eh!Ciao Ducati uk !
