Not worth it

Uncreative soundtracks removing the experience's quality with very questionable song judgement. They are also integrating a lot of leftist politics instead of just being neutral, the politics have eaten into the experience's quality.

Eurovision has become increasingly more political

Eurovision has become increasingly more political as the years pass. Tim Davie claims it’s not, but this is wrong. Trying to separate any international event from politics is impossible and results from wishful thinking.

A problem with Eurovision

I gave Eurovision a 3/5 and here's why.1. The voting system is very bad. Very heartwarming and hard-worked songs usually never win. People usually like songs because of the acting, not the song itself.2. Some songs are not appropriate anymore. The 2024 Finnish song shows the singer NAKED!!!Otherwise, Eurovision is a fun contest.

Hypocrisy and irony

Eurosong 2025 demonstrated hypocrisy and irony. We always knew that when it comes to judges' voting, it's rare for the best song to win, and you learn to accept that it’s rigged most of the time. Not having Russia because of genocidal aggression, but Israel is fine because the right supports them in the media. Banning lgbt flags despite earning the most money from the lgbt communities. I'm 40, and I grew up with Eurovision, but this is the first year I have boycotted it. Even my IG and YT algorithms are confused, and I'm not looking up the Eurovision content.

What a lot of garbage this turned up…

What a lot of garbage this turned up to.The songs and the performance gone really rubbish since the 1980's performance.Israel, Ukraine, shouldn't be there as they counties are at war, the same rule they applied to Russia, but the rules don't apply to all.Any country not in the EU shouldn't be there at all, what is Australia and Israel doing there? It supposed to be the Euro vision. Those countries are taking the place of European countries that don't make it.The Eurovision is a farce and is all about money and what does countries give them.

The reason I'm giving 2 star is because…

The reason I'm giving 2 star is because not many people voted for uk and I think that's really mean and up setting to see uk 19th in the eurovision contest uk should have been 2nd place

NIL POINTS (STARS)

If I could give NIL POINTS (STARS) for this year’s 2025 Eurovision Song Contest, then I would of! I am not usually one to comment a lot, but watching it tonight wasted that time of my life. The only class act that I thought was there was England. It’s a real shame that they came 19th. It was a good song. Considering all the other songs were absolutely terrible. I just didn’t get it. They paid more attention to the stage show and their fancy props and what they were wearing, instead of actually paying attention to the songs that was being sung. But what niggles at me the most is the fact that Ukraine and Russia were at war and Russia was band from the Eurovision Song Contest. So why the hell was Israel allowed to perform considering they are at war as well. That country might not be part of the Eurovision Song Contest, but war is war! Lives are being lost. Yes, on both sides, but they did not deserve a place in this competition tonight. It was very upsetting. Whilst watching it, I nearly cried when I saw Israel and Austria head-to-head and l was absolutely relieved when Austria/Jay Jay won it for his country. It’s irrelevant whether I like this song or not, but I did not want his Israel to win. They do not deserve it. Not one little bit. And as for the Eurovision song contest itself, I’ve never seen such boring acts and I am definitely not going to watch it again. I will be boycotting it next year because of the whole allowing Israel to take part. That is absolute hypocritical behaviour to me and quite a lot of my family and friends were saying exactly the same thing. And if Israel had won tonight, where on earth would they have had their show next year as the country is at war! Who would want to go to Israel when there is so much chaos around them. You are going to invite people to come to your country with such devastation going on. For what, the devastation in another country and you’re going to host a singing competition? WTH, JUST THINK ABOUT IT!!! Shame on you!

I enjoy the Eurovision song contest…

I enjoy the Eurovision song contest every year. There is often good songs and good acts. The only thing that lets it down are the toxic fan base who try to bring politics into everything. Eurovision itself was heavily criticised for sticking to their own rules of not taking a political stance, but I think it's great that they stuck to their own rules despite Europe turning into a mob.

Not bad but not good.

I remember on the weekend of it that I had a few ones that I liked: Netherlands, France, Serbia, Croatia (I think?), and Finland and Cyprus. but I feel like it has changed more since I like more acts but still like the same acts I did on the weekend still with others, I definitely do like a lot more of the acts than I used to and to be fair, even though the environment had a lot of drama this year, the songs do grow on you a lot, same with the artists. I don’t even hate Eden like I used to and understand better now, and while I don’t like the title October Rain (the original) and personally think Hurricane should’ve been the first pick, not everyone will have this song grow on them which is fair to be honest. I gave it four stars primarily for the fact that I like all of the songs but for the EBU and what has happened and toxicity, that’s why it isn’t 5. And I am not blaming the artists, to be fair, some fans made it worser especially with the rumours on the weekend too and especially by judging these people who they hardly know, I don’t think it’s good to judge the artists anymore to be fair a month later, I think we should be putting more blame on the Israeli delegation (which I personally think needs a change in broadcaster because I blame KAN, not Eden anymore although it was a bad idea for Israel to come this year although they’ve been in ESC for ages.), but yeah. The fans at times can be way too far in what they say and do and rude comments won’t help although I understand the angry comments towards the EBU but please don’t blame the artists, I am sure they all just wanted to sing or had a different goal but with the same reasons or whatever, and wasting time on hate always isn’t gonna help and won’t help yourself. But that is what I think. Hopefully Israel gets a different delegation and next year is interesting because my country may come if possible and Liechtenstein may join Eurovision or the EBU, so it’s not terrible, it was just a heated environment this year for reasons either reasonable or not. But let’s not judge, all.By the way, if you didn’t know, my winner is France. Although Switzerland wasn’t bad and the breathing in the live version in Nemo’s singing wasn’t my cup of tea on the weekend, I don’t think it stood out so much to me that it would win the entire competition. Although I recognize they are a good singer now or did a while after or don’t think they are bad, I would’ve expected top 5 for them at least. I don’t judge though if that was anyone’s winner, because it isn’t a bad winner, it’s just not mine although The Code is a nice song.

Eurovision Moan Contest... Its getting boring now 🥱

Oh dear... Eurovision Song Contest 😟Most of the opinions that I saw were calling this years event a crap show. I had a look at all of the entries and yes it has moved with the times. More visuals, more dance moves and... much more flesh. Its come a long way since Bucks Fizz, Cliff Richard and Abba.🤣Most of it was not as bad as I had expected though. Even songs in their native tongue, had a beat to them. Some nice costumes and some artists were even able to play their own instruments. BUT... and here we go:What has turned this iconic and once family friendly show, watched by millions into a sideshow is... certain minorities pushing their... Agendas. This is a song contest and not a platform for the aggrieved. Ireland pushing the satanic agendaSwitzerland (the overall winner) pushing non binary The United Kingdom pushing homosexualityOur entry, to be quite honest with you was a bloody embarrassment. The song was rubbish and the video of young men prancing about in an urinal??... Very classy.I can just see all the grandmothers, tapping their foot to that one..... My God, give me strength. 😣 No wonder you got zero points. You were little short of pathetic. Some of the acts belonged in a Soho flesh den and of course, we had to get some Israel bashing in... Israel, has every right to be there. Politics, should not come into it.Israel's singer had to endure some nasty & vile behaviour from certain groups 😡 but managed to come a healthly #5 in the contest... So well done Israel. Eurovision`s motto is United by Music. All I saw, was a MASSIVE divide, that will get even worse over the years. If the organizers of the Eurovision Song Contest, do not get a grip on this insidious mindset and stop being led by minorities and those that have a political axe to grind.

Way too Gay

Been watching the finals for many a year now but this one was embarrassing; especially the British entry which was tantamount to a gay porno. It was so bad that bibles across Europe stared tutting uncontrollably. Also the hosts were a bit starchy.

EBU does not follow its own rules.

EBU does not follow its own rules. One contestant was disqualified because his personal space was breached. But the other contestants were not disqualified for using other flags than their country (EBU does not allow to use not your country flag)Also how situations were handled was disproportionate and at points just awkward to watch.

Is it me?!!

Is it me?!!, (as Terry Wogan would have said). In my opinion Eurovision lost it's way a few years back, and this year, is by far the WORST EVER!. This latest is a abomination of the majority of countries entries. I seriously question the morality, & talent of the majority of acts. NO LONGER a contest of SINGING talent, it has become an event of Who's has the most outlandish, bizarre or should I say weird costume, make up & dance routine. Gymnastic act in the case of the UK entry. Over riding what they should be aiming for; A HIT SONG.WHY OH WHY!. Where was the natural true talent of SONG!, after all it's meant to be a SINGING contest. Songs sung with Audible clarity, emotion & meaning with memorable lyrics!. Take a look at winners & runner ups from 60's, 70's, 80', & 90's Eurovision, which had all of the above. Most of us can remember those lyrics. Those of this year 2024 DO NOT LEAVE A LASTING IMPRESSION. Their brief should be a Song with depth, emotion, AND sung with AUDIBLE tone & delivery. Please PLEASE Please Eurovision a return to normality AND don't pander to minority groups.
