The Dating World Today…
I was on Fitness Singles years ago and resumed in Jan 2026. It's been different. The "Search" tab renders 102 pages with each page consisting of about 30 profiles. I have gone through 53 pages (1590 profiles) and consistently see: "Last visit: over 3 weeks". I have to wonder whether these profiles are old accounts. The site does not honour my age parameters in presenting matches. PROFILERS ON THIS SITE:A majority of the 60 yr old males have age preference parameters of 30-50 with some 18-40. It's discouraging/sickening to think males are willing to date their daughter's age or younger. A majority of the males don't read profiles and select by pictures alone. Most profilers reach out by suggested text (low effort).A majority of the males have answered "good-looking" in the appearance field. A majority of males have answered "athletic" in their body type field when pictures and activity/interests prove otherwise. A majority of profilers post only 1 picture. RECOMMENDATIONS TO FITNESS SINGLES: 1) mandate 2 pictures: 1 head shot, 1 full body shot all pictures clear & without sunglasses with the suggestion of no hats2) follow profile parameters when presenting matches3) set the age preference parameter frame to a 10 year maximum spread4) add a relationship intention question: casual or long-term 5) remove "Top 25" feature and concentrate on good matches vs popularity or high activity.

This platform is extremely outdated technically and very suspicious content-wise
Half of the profiles have been abandoned for a long time. Another half is fake AF - blurred pictures, vague unspecific bio, weird responses. I saw many hot fit bodies on J1Live.com To my surprise and delight, many of them agreed to a real date. I haven't been asked for money yet which is a good sign. In fact Fitness-Singles website has absolutely nothing to do with fitness and sport. If you think it's a niche dating platform, you'd be disappointed. Fitness-Singless is just another fake money scam dating site that makes money selling subscriptions.

I joined a few days ago and uploaded my photo. I wrote down my Username and Password and now they are telling me that my Password doesn't work. Basically they now have me as a female profile but i can no longer access it! I contacted them my message twice and no reply! How disgusting!

Fitness Singles is fake
Fitness Singles, citing many fake profiles, scammers, deceptive billing practices (hard to cancel, no refunds), poor matching with inactive or irrelevant users, and general frustration. I emailed them after I paid for 3 months and their email address is wrong. I contacted them via FB. No answer.

I believe I have been scammed
I believe I have been scammed. Free to sign up is the drawcard. Before you know, you have expressions of interest on your profile & approaches to chat. The catch; you have to buy a subscription to engage & chat. I signed up & attempted to chat with the members who approached me & got nothing back. Strange I thought out of four members, not one reply! An email regarding my concern to Fitness Singles, has fallen on deaf ears! That's how they hook you & how they get your money! A shame really, as its a good idea in principle, a site for active, like minded people. Dont you be the next victim!

Reports of scamming activity made and no action taken
I have reported two of the men on this site and nothing was done. As a matter of fact, one of the men I reported is listed as their top 25 men!Two men that I had dates with and actually met in person:1. "Prof" is married and his child and wife live at home with him. He lied about his age, his degree and his nationality. Really, there is nothing on his profile page that is accurate.2. "Tony" and I had several wonderful dates until he let it slip that his daughter and wife live at home with him. He lied about his age too and he has several fake names. It was only a matter of time before he asked me for money. I feel terrible for his wife and child. This website should totally take at least these two men off of the site before some real damage is done.

After paying for a monthly…
After paying for a monthly subscription, I was able to send "emails" to other members, which I did. I also received a message from a member requesting that would like to get to know me. I responded immediately, as I happened to be online at the time. Crickets. I then set about testing the system, sending members who had "showed interest" in my profile messages asking to please simply reply in order to see if anyone is actually receiving messages. You guessed it, crickets... I tried unsuccessfully contact the sites by using the "contact us" icon multiple times. Nothing happens! I have since sent the administrator/s a message via other means on the site stating my disappointment and suspicions. I do not at this point recommend this sites.

Total scam
This company is full of crap and phony.I have not been a member for a long, long time. And I have hid my profile, but still fitness Singles sends me emails saying , I have messages waiting , which is impossible.

Don't waste your money!
Most of the profiles are (obviously) fake and the subscription prices are way overpriced. If they were reputable at all they would have a trial period or better cancellation terms. If you sign up and change your mind even 5 seconds later, you are out of luck. They get to keep your money whether you use the platform or not. Only companies who know their product is crap would need to have such a policy.

Terrible site for the UK
This is a waste of time for UK customers. Very few contacts. Lots shown but they have not been on line for three weeks or more which doesnt signfy someone actively looking.Avoid, its dreadful and the worst dating site I have used. I should have read the reviews here before I wasted my money.

Don't waste your money. Absolute waste of time which will leave you emotionally exhausted n light in the pocket.
Well, being ever the optimist I decided to give this site a go. 3rd time lucky as I'd tried 2 dating sites before n they were both not good. V little interaction n response to messages. People in 'my area' were miles away. I met up with one lady at 10.30am in a licensed cafe bar and she was drinking a large glass of wine n appeared to be inebriated. She was in fact quite a nice lady but, incredibly, admitted to me that she had a drink problem.Met a second lady for a coffee n a couple of walks. She admitted that she had lied about her age, and taken 4 years off her real age. She also did not live in the posh part of Town it claimed on her profile, but in a differentdown market area. Her interests, beliefs n behaviour in no way reflected her profile. In fact, some of her beliefs were a bit extreme, worrying n made me feel uncomfortable. Quite a few ladies I had conversations with were very chatty n interested in me but when it came to meeting up with me for a coffee (in a safe open public place) backed off n gave me every reason n excuse under the Sun not to meet up. Strange if they're on the site to meet up n socialise with people. From some of my conversations I had, I had a distinct feeling that I was talking to an AI generated robot. So, in short, give this site a v wide berth.

Thank you everyone for those reviews
Thank you everyone for those reviews. I signed up with Fitness Singles just last week and I was just debating whether to pay the subscription for one month initially to check it out a bit more. I had over 60 messages in my inbox so that was encouraging me to pay, but something told me to Google what people say about that site first and I'm so glad I did! Sorry to anyone genuine that I haven't replied to!

I recently had an experience on this…
I recently had an experience on this dating site that felt disappointing and misleading.I received a message from someone who seemed genuine — her profile was detailed, and her photos looked real. I was sincerely interested and planned to respond thoughtfully. However, within just a few hours, her profile was completely gone and marked as "no longer a member."Out of curiosity and concern, I reverse-searched the photo and discovered that it actually belongs to a well-known person on social media, with no connection to dating platforms. It became clear that the profile was fake and likely part of a scam or misleading activity.I'm not writing this out of anger, but out of a desire to protect others. Please be cautious. Take your time, and if something feels off — trust your gut and double-check before getting emotionally involved.

Don't waste your money!
Total Frustration!I stumbled across this site on the internet, and having never used a dating site before I thought what a great idea and hoped I would find somebody with similar interests. The sign up was easy and there seemed to be a few candidates in my area. I had a couple of messages from people in the states, which I thought could be scammers and sure enough their profiles showed as not available a few days later. So is the site sending these to encourage people to part with their money? Probably! Then you get to the point where you may want to contact somebody. As a non-paying member you are limited to pre defined "Show Interest" messages of the sites choosing, none of which would encourage anybody to respond. One of which, or the only one, should be please will you pay a subscription so we can have a conversation. When you send one of these messages you may get a read notification. I say may, not because it is dependent on whether they like your profile, but on whether they are a paying member. So you may like them, they may like you, but you have no idea whether that is the case and you have to assume that they didn't like you.So I forked out over £30 for a months membership, thinking I'll try it for a month and if I'm happy with the service, and still need it, I'll renew it. It wasn't long before I cancelled the auto renewal. So now I could send "emails" actually they were instant messages via their website. The good news was that I could now send messages that weren't "I like your profile do you like mine", but the bad news was that in the majority of cases these messages were never read as I didn't get a read receipt under the message. In a very few cases I did. Why was this? Well, the recipient gets an email saying they have a new message and directs them to the website. If they are a non-paying member they cannot access this message hence no notification. So they may look at my profile and decide that they are not interested in me, or they may look into subscribing and think I'm not paying £30+ so I can receive the message. So again, I as the sender are left with the impression that this person is not interested in me, when that may not be the case. How could they improve their website?Firstly there are too many members who don't have paid membership so to resolve that they need to make it a bit cheaper.Secondly they need to get rid of the show interest or make it have 3 optionsI'm not interested in you (I'd rather have this than no response)I'm interested in you please pay a subscriptionI'm interested and I will pay for your subscriptionThirdly when a message sent from a paying member to a non paying member it should come back with "The receipient has been sent a notification that you have sent a message, but will not be able to read it until they pay a subscription".Fourthly the suggestion I made to the website via contact us that they allow a 2-3 day subscription to gifted (with no obligation on the behalf of the recipient) for a nominal fee of say £5.Finally have it documented on the website how the website works regarding the sending of messages and membership. Most of the faults I have highlighted have only been worked out by me or from contacting the website. I don't really understand why the website wants to keep peoples membership details private. If non paying-members want to see who is on the system, that is fine. If they want to contact or be contacted they cannot do that without a subscription so why not let those who pay the subscription filter those that have paid and show interest in those that haven't.I actually put that I would write a review on my profile due to the fact that I couldn't reveal my membership status but that got removed when I requested it to be updated! They obviously don't want people to know how the site works (or doesn't) even though it would generate more revenue if the members were happier with the way it should works.

One star too many
I seldom take the time and effort to write a review, but this time I felt the need to. This is, by far, the worst dating site I have experienced. I have no idea what this site offers; it is not interactive, smart, clever, or even intuitive. I don't know how dating sites operate, but the behind-the-scene mechanics on this one must be of the most rudimentary kind; it would remind me of DOS before Windows 3.1 came on; with the forgiveness of DOS. It is gross. I can't believe I paid for 6 months; and they are final sales, of course they are.

Fraud
Fraud. 18 hours after paying subscription to send a widow a Happy Mothers Day, I still couldn't. Guess I need to go after them legally to get money back. I could say a lot more about how terrible their "matches" are if you look at one's profiles and photos vs. ladies way out of age, weight, or fitness range that could work. But it was not being able to offer a nice thought to a good lady who might have needed it Mothers Day after I paid well enough in advance that really did it.

Don't bother
Don't bother. There are profiles that have been there for eternity, some are probably dead by now going on their ages. The pictures are out of focus, cropped in so far you're looking at massive nose 😂. Definitely fake profiles everywhere. If you message people they either don't reply, or are not paying and can't read the message anyway. Pointless site, go down the pub every night and toggle at women there, you'll have more chance of getting a reply. 😂😂
