In alameda CA the store is well organized, items are cheaper than other store . But be cautious, rates are some items misguiding, and few items are displayed, which are just to expire , I took Aleve 90 tabs bottle, quite cheap , 4 dollars, but expired after 10 days , that mean rest tablets I should thrown away 😢
Jill and all of the employees at the Oroville Dam Blvd. Location of Grocery Outlet are always very helpful and kind to me. I had a double mastectomy last summer and had alot of physical limitations for several weeks. They made sure i never lifted more than 5 lbs. While i healed. Helped me very much and I am forever grateful.
I asked for a plastic bag and even though I paid for it, they would only give me a paper bag with no handles.
I went to the one here in ohio at First I was very impressed telling family and friends that they should shop there I purchased.A lot of groceries.I did get the hamburger that was on sale ans i did save a few dollars it was cheaper.there now I see why the hamburger that I purchased as soon as i got the meat home and put it in the freezer I went in the store a few days after they opened on that 1st Saturday so I put the meat Directly in my freezer on that Saturday. I took the hamburger out this past Tuesday and the packaging was bloated. Didn't think anything of it and defrosted the meat and it was still bloated. I took a knife and puncture the tube and oh my goodness my whole kitchen and dining room smelled like SPOILED MEAT The stench was terrible so I toot the other pack out of my freezer and put both packs of the spoiled meat in a ziploc bag? I have been calling and calling and calling the store without getting an answer. The store is about 25 minutes away from my home. I'm not going to take it back. I just wanted them to know that the hamburger was spoiled. And I'm quite sure that I'm not the only customer that experienced this. I will not be going back. I will be deleting the app. And I will not be referring them to anyone. Very. Disappointed. I don't even want a refund. I am a very Satisfied customer I will not be wasting my gas or time to ever go to this store again
If I could give it less than a 1 rating I would. Trying to create an account is IMPOSSIBLE, A lot of times they are more expensive that other grocery stores.
Don't buy half and half. I've been steadily buying it and it always leaks messing up my refrigerator. Also it's always on the edge of spoiling. No more buying half and half
Sadly I will be looking for another store. I've learned some things regarding the work environment and am so upset at the exploitation of the employees. They really treat them like dictators . I can't support that I am all about treating people fairly and humane. Being a boss is one thing but to take their livelihood is another.
Grocery Outlet prices in Las Vegas are rising and are almost equal to regular grocery prices. Additionally, the dairy items have soured very fast. I won’t be going again. In summary, it appears that you pay slightly less for items that are about to expire. The quality of the produce and dairy is lacking.
Your commercials are rediculas and inaccurate.
Friendly staff but need better product variety
I have visited only two Grocery Outlets both in Philly but in two different sections of the city one more upscale. But what I found where the both had food where the date would expire soon. So if you not going to eat the food with a month or so, no need to buy. They had food designed for Christmas in March. This type of food should be sent to the food bank.
This review is for the Grocery Outlet phone app. The app is atrocious, and opts you in to marketing emails. When you want to opt out of marketing emails, it tells you to sign into your GO account, but GO has no record of me having an account, even though I have their app. This means that on any given day, I receive 3 or 4 spam emails from GO which I cannot disable in any way. Gmail's spam blocker doesn't work, reporting spam and unsubscribing doesn't work, I can't log in to any sort of account, and the checkbox for opting in to marketing and PR emails has disappeared from my app.Even worse, while the app does enter you to win national sweepstakes, it doesn't actually submit your name into store-specific drawings to win what you saved, as it implies it does when you sign up. Nor does it accurately track individual store inventory levels, so if you want to know if they have an item in stock, you have to call that store and ask an associate.
This review is only for the Grocery Outlet Bargain Market on Morrissey in Santa Cruz. The management of this store thinks that they have the right to accuse their customers of shoplifting when they have done nothing of the sort and are still in the interior of the store. But worse than that after doing that if you contact them and ask for an apology because you did nothing if the sort, they refuse to give an apology and they insinuate that you had the intent to steal from there point of view. But it's even worse than that because they do this in an extremely hostile manner inflicting emotional and mental distress.
I love Grocery Outlet! I always find things to buy there. Their prices are great, they always are well staffed so U don’t need to wait long to check out. The staff is courteous, helpful, respectful and professionally
Grocery Outlet is a great store. They have excellent selection and good prices, with friendly, helpful associates. They’ve always treated me with dignity and respect - unlike other stores - and they saved the day for me this morning by having Johnny Cat litter at a great price. I recommend Grocery Outlet Bargain Market for Everyone!
One of the GroceryOutlet store run out the plastic bags, it is unbelievable!
1st of all, this is 1st & only time that I’ve felt compelled to write a review on customer service. Today I was at the Lynnwood Grocery Outlet (I’m a long time customer) & I experienced a totally rude checker. He asked me if I’d like bags & I said yes…he started bagging them & placed 90% of items in one bag & a 2nd bag with only 3 small items….I told him I could not lift the one heavy bag & that I was 72 years old…His response, “I can’t read your mind on how old your are!” ….I was stunned at his sassy reply & told him he was being rude! He pretty much snarked & blew me off….I work professionally with high school students & have never had a student behave in such a disrespectful way. This checker needs to be put in “timeout” & I suggest he be taken off any service position that requires interaction with customers, Perhaps some time off or customer service training would be beneficial. If I were a 1st time customer, I would not be back. FYI: I recommend Grocery Outlet often & today was a real shocker for me! Please take the time read this & take it as constructive criticism. Reminder: “It takes a village & all employees to have a shared vision” how treat customers,
Today, I had an experience that really made me not want to go back into this store. And I spend money in the store at least twice a week or I know once. There was some candy mistagged and the entire stand was marked, I had 2 bags and the Mgr said she would only honor one bag but I had 2 bags. Now the entire shelf was marked wrong. I felt this was horrible I was spending more than $35 and you won't honor the one item. This was truly SAD to me .. All the money I spend you would be petty and losebusiness. I wish there was more than one store in Vegas because I would surely go elsewhere. But I really like this Store.
I just left Grocery outlet on 72nd ST in Tacoma. I was looking for pantyhose I have an event and didn't have any so I wasn't dressed entirely matching outfit. So to leave the 2 ladies that were working the cash registers out because they didn't do anything. But I was immediately profiled and loudly over the speaker security scan isle 1 no one was there except myself and 2 other ladies. I knew it was me because of how I was dressed. I went to isles 2 then 5 and was the only person on these 2 isles. Loudly over speaker SECURITY SCAN ILSE 2 AND 5. I quickly get what I'm getting and go to checkout and ask to speak to manager. He tells me 2 guys with backpacks were there and not to assume everything is about me and I shouldn't have a guilty conscience. He tells me he is as high up as it gets and laughed at me just totally embarrassed and traumatized!!! I go to my car and the girl getting the cart's look at me saying you got a problem lady? Don't assume everything is about you she says!! I'm posting this all over social media and probably going to file a lawsuit!!!
