Absolutely disgusting service

Absolutely disgusting service, sold me an automatic car as I have problems with my left leg i have had the car 5 days and now it won't run at all, contacted the person and he said he had no idea about the car and he never sold a car to me

Had our fiesta a couple of week now had problems from the off but no help from them made promises they did not keep never returned calls ect 🙈🙈🙈 nice first hot day and guess what air con did not work. Took it in to garage to day the system has no gas in it. But there RAC check list say it was to be working but clearly not. Did not feel to phone them and waist more of my time. RAC really need to check Who they approve to have their checklist in their business they are now trading as county motors

Purchased a car from them which had a…

Purchased a car from them which had a dodgy battery which they stated they would pay for and haven't.Now claiming to have changed name and staff to Countymotors and denying all liability to customers sold cars under the Harveys Autos name.Mine is hopefully a fairly inexpensive issue but for other innocent, hardworking and unsuspecting buyers, I will refer this company to the Ombudsman for investigation.

Shocking! Do not buy from County Motors Ltd (formerly Harvey's Autos)

We've had nothing but problems with this company, purchased a car which had the engine management light come on less than 50 miles away from the dealership and several false promises to cover the cost of repair when suggesting we'd like to return the car as it's not fit for purpose only to be pushed to contact an email address where of course no one is responding. I would suggest reading around other review sites before trusting the 4 star rating on AutoTrader as TrustPilot Facebook and Car Dealer Reviews show many others have experienced the same issues as us (formerly known as Harvey's Autos Ltd and now claiming it's not their problem).

AVOID AT ALL COSTS. RIP OFF MERCHANT

Avoid this place at all costs. We had the our Ford Kuga from here in May 2023, only had 1 month warrenty with them. Spent over 2k on the car in repairs alone. They wouldn't help us and just left us with no car as well. They refused to help us with repairs and everything. The car went down hill after the months warranty was up. They said it was our problem now as it left their property. I send email and a signed for letter to them personally, they did call me but still refused to help.Our problems we had were:The clutch completely went, Cat converter blew, rear levelling head lamp snapped, Rear suspension snapped while driving, CV boot leaking oil, The breaking system went. All these in the space of 6 months of having it. They're rip-of merchants. They have changed their name but still the same staff!!! AVOID AVOID AVOID !!!!!!!

Sold me a c250

Sold me a c250 in March, had a engine fan problem, but they told me it’s fine and it goes after a while, did it heck, had an anti theft problem, they told they would fix it before they gave it, pick up day it was fine couple days after it came back up and they wouldn’t pick the phone up or get back in contact, engine fan was causing me so many problems giving me a dead battery every day, £700 on the repair, absolute garbage of a company

Avoid like the plague!

If you are taking taking one piece of advice today please take mine. Avoid this dealership like the plague. Bought an Audi A7 at the end of October, unfortunately didn’t read their reviews first as plenty of cautionary tales in here. Within a week car broke down on the M6, temperature gauge showing as overheating. Called them, they don’t want to know as apparently they don’t do repairs, told me to use the 3 months RAC warranty provided. Car was taken to an RAC approved garage who also didn’t want to know as with warranty repairs they can’t charge you for extra work not needed. After 2 weeks they asked me to pick up the car as they didn’t have the tools and the expertise to fix it. In that time I was trying to return the car for a full refund as within the timescales for my rights to return the car as not fit for purpose. Manager Simon lied to me often saying I had no right to return the car as I had accepted the repair by accepting the car being taken to this garage. I had to involve trading standards, advise them I had notified the daily mail and BBCs watchdog to eventually (after four weeks) having the car collected and getting refunded. Dishonest at their core.

Travelled to view a car discribed as 'Immaculate'. Car was filthy, covered in scratches and marks, drivers seat was ripped and the battery was flat. Not a good experience.

Bought a x5 2010 a month ago

Bought a x5 2010 a month ago , had a rookie salesman , selling the car with 12 months mot and warranty included . Went to pick up the car manager Simon goes the mot has 7 months left so can’t give you a new one , and they couldn’t give me a warranty Bcuz the rep was on holiday. So left and bought the car home . 2 weeks on the shock mount goes and then egr valve has to be replaced . The garage said someone had done an eBay job to keep the engine light off for a while which must be them so they can selll the car. This is FRAUD , called them many times no answer , going to sell the car now . Shameless , liars , frauds , keep well Away .

Worth the travelling

Chose and bought the car online then met Franc at the showroom. It was all so quick and easy we were done and driving away within 20 mins. Well worth travelling 190 miles. My hubby loves the car.

Terrible after service

Terrible after service! After getting my car home I discovered the rear parking sensors weren’t working and Mir was the motor on the heating/air con fan. In the last 4 weeks, I have been backwards and forwards, 2 hour round trip each time, to sit in the showroom waiting to then be told they need to order another part. I have not received a single call from them updating me about the parts order, I have made numerous calls each time to be fobbed off!I took the car over today to have the motor fixed and picked up a courtesy car. No one rang me at all, so I rang towards the end of the day to see if I could go and fetch my car and was put on hold for half an hour before I put the phone down. Absolutely disgusting how they treat you. I feel like asking for my money back and taking the car back. Only one month warranty and it’s worth nothing 😡😡

VW Passat Purchase Experience: Addressing Issues and Room for Improvement

I purchased a Passat from this company in July 2023. Initially, I noticed some issues during the test drive, but they promptly addressed and fixed them before delivery. After a week, I experienced suspension trouble, which they resolved by replacing the absorber promptly. Abdul, my salesperson, was helpful and knowledgeable. While the location and sales team were excellent, I suggest the company strengthen its PDI and mechanics teams to match industry standards. Despite minor cosmetic and mechanical issues, I’m content with my purchase and haven’t encountered any further problems so far. I would recommend the company

Bad garage, avoid

Sold me a total lemon than immediately broke (head gasket failed, cracked cylinder head, loosing coolant, egr cooler bypassed). The central locking didn't even work, which i ended up paying for myself as i had to be able to lock the car. All this on a ten grand motor! Returned through the finance company after week's and week's of messing about, they then caused further damage to the car and smashed the drivers wing mirror off. Won't answer emails or calls regarding wing mirror. Absolute cowboys.

Shocking service (and 12 miles of petrol in car on collection!!)

Shocking service. Just want to get your money (so the owner can pay for his £300,000 Rolls Royce Cullinan?)  and then ignore you. When purchasing a Mini I questioned the state of the tyres and was assured they had plenty of tread and would not have passed the MOT if they hadn't. 6 weeks later (and 500 miles) I decided to get the tracking checked (with a trusted garage I have used for years) as my wife felt the car was always pulling to the side. Turns out the front tyres are badly worn and the rear are worn and out of shape. All 4 need replacing.I tried to get in touch  with Harvey's on several occasions to see if they were prepared to contribute and, guess what, they completely ignored me. Not even an acknowledgement or response.AND TO TOP IT ALL OFF, the car had 12 MILES OF PETROL in the tank when I picked it up, and they didn't see a problem with this!!!!

Poor customer service after purchasing

If you are buying a car from this company then please be aware.They are great and helpful at first when selling you the car nothing is to much problems only arise after you have brought the car. They offer a 30 day bring back to base policy. After 7 days my rear passenger door stopped working so I called and booked it in to be repaired. I went in spent 2 hours there to be told they was ordering a part and to come back a week later. I went back after 2 weeks and no part had been ordered they just messed with the wiring and said it was done sent me away. The day after the same problem again so I called up and re booked in this time I spent 3 half hours at the garage to be told that the problem was still there and they needed to order a part and to come back next week.I called up this time before just heading there to spend another portion of my life sitting in a garage to not have the problem sorted. I got told to ask for Frank. I called up to ask for Frank he said he would call me back stright away 4 hours pasted and still Frank had not called so I phoned and asked to speak to Frank I got told he was busy and would call me back in 5 minutes still waiting till this day about 5 weeks now frank must be a really busy bee!!!!Long and short they sold me car which is dangerous and they have no intention of putting the problem right. I will now have to pay to have it sorted at a proper garage but atleast I know it will be done right.TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE.

I went to harveys autos to look at a car yesterday and today. I was abit sceptical because of all the bad reviews. Well my experience has been totally different, lovely place and all decent people. Especially karim, he's been brilliant, I took a mechanic (my son) with me to see the car, I couldn't test drive it yesterday as it was having some work done so i went back today, karim has been great, and trust me I peppered him with questions on both occasions and he has been great, car isn't ready to take yet as it needs a few minor things doing first,So far so good, I will update.OK here is my update.. well from start to finish I was dealt with brilliantly. The staff there were fantastic, all jobs done to a high standard. They fixed the minor things I had mentioned too. Karim dealt with my car from start to finish and he was brilliant, if you want to be treated with respect and honesty ask to deal with him. If I need a car in future I will certainly go and see him for sure. 5* from me, don't let all the bad reviews put you off, go and see for yourself.Thanks karim for everything.

i brought a corsa from these jokers in march / april 2021, the car was not good at all , i paid them £2000 deposit and when i picked the car up , it hadnt been cleaned , i brought though zuto and that is another company that is absolutely crap and beyond words there customer service was non existent , i complained about the car the next day to harveys as the apple play didnt work and thats what i had brought the car for and after taking it into my garage who i have used for over 20 years and i trust them , there was a bolt on the underbody not even bolted right , the tyres where not good , the clutch had issues and there was several other things wrong with it , the manager at harveys didnt give a crap and said i had signed for the car and its my trouble now i rang zuto and they where the same , so i went to the finance company and got them involved , they later had the car back in and said there was nothing wrong with it , but they had done all the jobs to the car without my authorisation , so i then rejected the car through the finance company , which they had to come and collect again , also the bank got my £2000 deposit back so up yours harveys who had the last laugh !!!! yes i did , they are nothing but lying scum bags and timewasters , if you buy a car from them , then get your bank involved to re-claim your money back ,( do not pay them cash ) as you will never have a leg to stand on i paid my deposit through my visa debit card so the bank can re-call the money back to you if there is any kind of dispute if the car is not as it should be you have a right by law to reject the car and harveys will tell you otherwise but do not be fobbed off by these jokers ring citizens advice and trading standards if you need help , But to save you all the hassel DONT BUY A CAR FROM HARVEYS PERIOD !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
