My first experience shopping from Home…

My first experience shopping from Home Clearance and I found the website to be very easy to use from browsing to order. The delivery was way earlier than expected. The item I bought was cheaper compared to the other sellers and I'm very very happy with my purchased. Thank you, Home Clearance, for your excellent products and services.

0/5 avoid

I wish I could give zero stars for this experience. I purchased a Smeg Classic 60cm built-in oven from this store, and the ordeal has been nothing short of a disaster. The oven arrived with the glass front completely smashed, caused by their poorly executed delivery process. Despite this being their fault, they have done everything possible to avoid taking responsibility.Initially, they offered two alternatives: one was a product from a different brand, which didn’t match the other Smeg items I had purchased, and the other was a damaged oven with visible scratches and marks. Both options were unacceptable, especially since I chose my original product because it was in near-new condition. I then agreed to proceed with a repair, not realizing this would drag out for weeks. After more than five weeks of waiting, I was informed that the repair would take at least another two weeks—if not longer—depending on parts availability. Their communication throughout this time has been appalling, with emails often going unanswered for days. Even when I asked for a refund to move on from this fiasco, they delayed processing it, claiming the refund couldn’t happen until the damaged oven was collected, which only happens weekly. This lack of urgency and accountability has been disgusting. I’ve been left without a functioning oven for almost two months, out of pocket to solve their problem, and completely unsupported. Appliances Online’s service is only good when things go as planned—if something goes wrong, they wash their hands of the issue and leave the customer to suffer.I will never buy from them again and will make sure others know about their shocking service. There are far better options available where the customer is treated with respect and urgency.

I am deeply disappointed with the…

I am deeply disappointed with the service received over the last seven months. Despite persistent delays and excuses, the issue with our faulty BBQ was never resolved. We were ultimately informed that a replacement couldn't be provided because it was already installed. We were forced to hire our own electrician to fix the problem as coordinating a technician seemed beyond their capability. This poor handling of the warranty claim and lack of customer support is unacceptable.

Seeing the reviews on trust pilot…

Seeing the reviews on trust pilot freaked me out after I’d purchased from homeclearance but the experience was top notch. They delivered by Bosch series 4 dishwasher 2 days later as booked, took away my old one and delivery guys were great (had to cart it down a rural driveway because the truck wouldn’t fit). A product that would cost $1300 RR, $1100 best price from big chain retail outlets cost me less than $900 delivered.

Worse experience ever

Worse experience ever. Stay away from this company. If the appliance doesn't work, you'll have to jump through hoops to get a refund. I ended up collecting through the help of PayPal. It was close to 4 weeks since calling in to service department.

BEWARE - THIS IS HOME APPLIANCES PLUS!!

BEWARE - THIS IS HOME APPLIANCES PLUS! The rip-off company HAP has simply closed down and restarted, calling itself Home Clearance. Anyone looking to buy from Home Clearance - do a search on TrustPilot for Home Appliances Plus first, then order from another company!
