Response to Ruth Bellotti, "Juiced Bikes"

Response to Ruth Bellotti: This exact same thing just happened to me (Oct 2024). As a result, I returned bike to Juiced after return approved on their website stating shipping address in San Deigo. FedEx attempted delivery and delivery was unsucessfull. As of 11/5, bike is sitting in FedEx warehouse call center with time running out and return to me about to begin all at my huge shipping expense. Filed charge-back with Card Company which issued temporary credit while they conduct an investigation. $2800. My bike, CurrentJet Pro, was received defective (electronics) right out of the box. For nearly a month, seller refused any contact. Refused phone. Refused email. Refused their chat box. After the sale, they don't exist. Last I heard, CEO fled to China and discontinued operations in USA due to financial issues. Rumor is outfit has, now, been sold off at auction. Lesson: Always buy at a local bike shop.

Company out of business ?

Purchased the new jet pro bike and I am having issues. Customer service does not respond. Seems like the company is out of business. They lost a law suite on a patent. DO NOT buy from them.

Buyer Beware!

I pre-ordered a bike in April that was to be shipped in "late July". When it never arrived, I spoke to customer service in early August, I was told pirates had taken control of the shipment and it would be delayed indefinitely! When I called back again August 14th and requested a refund, I was given an attitude and told it would take about 20 days to process. It is now early October and I am still waiting to be refunded. It seems the pirates also took over their corporate HQ. Scam company, beware!

Steer clear

Steer clear. They don’t have any customer service. Husband has been trying to get help with an issue with a bike that is six months old with less than 300 miles on it and there has been zero response for any form of trying to contact them.

The customer service is awful

The customer service is awful. Their batteries dont stay in. They say they offer price adjustments, but never actually issue a refund. Buy a different brand.

Juiced Bikes hides their reviews on their website

I don’t own this bike, and I submitted a review on their website about my experience with their support. Simply put, they hide their reviews. I really wanted to buy a bike from them, but they seem to be very dishonest and a terrible company to buy from.

Lots of problems dealing with this…

Lots of problems dealing with this company. I've been told numerous times that juiced doesn't have the parts I need for both of my bikes. I bought a cross current x and a hyper scrambler 2. I've spent over $6000.00 dollars so far on bikes, parts, brakes, brake lines, pads, fenders, controllers, ect...you get the picture. Imagine any company with non-existent customer service like Juiced. Do you think they would survive in todays current economic climate? ABSOLUTELY NOT! I'm tired of being lied to about parts and the problems associated with their bikes. No one answers their phones or my e-mails. They NEVER have any products available on their website. I don't want or need a FREE item from your company because of your lousy customer service. What I need, and others who use your products as well, is CUSTOMER SERVICE and TIMELY RESPONSES to our e-mails and phone calls.

DO NOT BUY..

Worst customer service, no bike shop will touch there bikes. You have to send your bike parts back to them even under warranty. If i could fix my own bike i would. I was told by the company to watch youtube. Never again.

WARNING ⚠️

Not feeling to happy right now. Got word the only way juiced will support my sons bike getting fixed under its 1 year warranty is if I manually remove back wheel and other parts and ship back to California. It’s going to cost me a fortune( outta my pocket well my 16 yr old sons pocket) and maybe they’ll repair and send back. They”juiced” expect me… just a girl who has zero!!! Mechanical experience to manage this. Greg says “ we have YouTube vids” just follow directions it’s that easy” 🙄 Seriously Greg? This is your Warrenty process?I have a qualified bike repair technician who’s willing to service this$1,400+ juiced Ebike my 15 year old bought!!! All by him self !!! But No!!! Instead of being helpful and just sending the parts to him this is what you’re demanding I do! Take apart an electrical bicycle that I don’t even feel safe! Or qualified to do???Cole only had this Ebike 6 months and it’s broken. For $1,400 bucks to only last that long is pathetic! You know what else is pathetic? Being told I need to “do it myself”. That’s NOT right .No wonder you only have a 1.8 rating your customer service is really disheartening. Samantha H

Warning!!! Juiced Bikes was great, until the 1-Year warranty expired.

Warning!!! Now, I understand why Juiced Bikes only come with a 1-Year warranty. Juiced Bikes Sales and Customer Service was great, until the 1-Year warranty expired. Initially, my RipRacer (Class-3) had an issue with the handlebar knuckle bolt threads failing within the first month of riding. Juiced Bikes Customer Service sent out a free replacement, promptly. Then, I road my RipRacer over 4K miles, only having to replace the brake pads, within the first riding season; even, validating the 80 mile max range on a single charge. Winter came and I stored my RipRacer indoors to avoid the ice and salty roads. At the start of my RipRacer's second riding season, I found I had no hydraulic brakes. I used an EZmtb kit to freshen the hydraulic brake lines, but found my front hydraulic line had a leak at the caliper. I contacted Juiced Bikes Customer Service to learn that they would be happy to send out a replacement Logan front brake assembly, which sounded like it would be free, until I was emailed a $120 invoice. It seems my RipRacer was just outside of the 1-Year warranty and Juiced Bikes was trying to charge me $120 for a full replacement front brake assembly; when, the actual fix is a $0.25 Tektro olive & insert. It's one thing that the hydraulic brake line only lasted a single riding season, but to try and pocket another $120 for a full replacement front brake assembly; when, the actual fix is a $0.25 Tektro olive & insert is appalling. With better customer service and warranty, Juiced Bikes could have had a rider for life. Instead, Juiced Bikes prefers to gouge their consumers and cherry-pick the reviews they offer on their website. Avoid Juiced Bikes, go with Super73, and purchase replacement parts directly from China. You've been warned!

Product support is suspect

What's up with the product support? They list all these items that are for sale on website. However, nothing is in stock. Unless, of course, you want to buy the new folding bike. I've contacted customer service and they were nice enough, but lied multiple times already. First, they Said they were going to send me upgraded brakes, because the Logan's suck! Then, they told me the parts I wanted, fender and racks, would be available beginning of May. Now, they're telling me nothing's wrong with the brakes, and that the noise is normal. They know the Logan's are defective due to caliper housing being too small and have ignored my concern at this point. I guess it's because they have me a 100$ gift card, that I can't use because no parts are in stock cause all manufacturing was busy turning out the new folding bike. Plus, I'm getting a noise when bike goes over 25 mph now, but I feel they're probably going to blame me for wanting to do so what the bike was made to do.

BEWARE

BEWARE!! Zero stars if possible. Very poor. I bought an ebike for a good amount of money. I contacted them 2 years later due to a battery issue and they were of no help. Customer service very poor. Seems they just want the sale and thats it. I would not reccomend to anyone as the battery dies quickly - they of course offer 1 year warranty but what can happen in 1 year. What a joke!!!

Never buy Juiced Bikes

Never buy Juiced Bikes. All parts, controller, wiring is proprietary and they discontinue parts all of the time. I have a HyperFat 1100 and they stopped making the controller and other parts a long time ago. Which means if you have a problem with the electronics of your bike, it is bricked forever. Not worth the investment of thousands of dollars just to have it bricked because they're greedy and will not continue to produce the parts for the bikes they sell. Really poor business model and I hope they go out of business due to negative customer experience and lack of return customers. Never buy from Juiced Bikes.

You will be blamed for QC issues that 'are common'

Bought a juiced bike and after just one year a tiny wire overheated and melted I guess from the throttle mechanism. Unfortunately the entire battery controller system, wheel, and engine in the wheel had to be replaced for over 800 dollars. What a waste of time, money, and materials just for a section of the bike that is 4 inches of wire. When asking for help they blamed me saying "I must have held the throttle for a minute going up hill" for that to happen yet they also said its a common issue. (How? It's an e-bike. The main point is the QC of this connection).Of course no bike shop will touch this bike so I had to do repairs myself. Crazy how poorly put together and designed the bike is.Forgot to mention that when I reported this issue and received a replacement (of course paid for, not covered by them), they sent the wrong part! Its a huge wheel in a huge box, you didn't want to check before sending I guess?PS the original bike I ordered was different from the one received.

Having quite a difficult time with…

Having quite a difficult time with customer service. Not only are they extremely rude (Sean) but they make you jump through hoops and go back and forth instead of just doing the right thing for their customer. They want to try to fix a part on the wheel that is covered under warranty instead of replacing it even after a local Bike Mechanic said was it was too dangerous to fix and should be replaced due to the manufacturer defect. Their head mechanic at juiced even said not to ride the bike because its too dangerous. Was planning to buy a Hyper Scorpion but no way now... I will not do business with a company that puts their customers at risk.

2017 Crosscurrent Air piece of crap has finally died

The Crosscurrent Air that I paid over $1800 for in 2017 and that has never worked right has finally died. The list of my troubles with Juiced and the bike is as long as my arm. The battery failed in the first year. Juiced techs and service desk tried to gaslight me over this repeatedly before finally agreeing to repair (which I don't think was properly done). I have receipts for replacing at least 35 spokes that simply broke from being brittle! 2.5 years in the bike started to really fail. Speeds would hesitate and fade in and out. Components would lose adjustments and be impossible to keep proper settings. Rear brake only adjustable if you remove the wheel. Who designs a brake adjustment like that!???! For the last couple of years none of the speeds worked and I had to use the throttle to make it barely ridable. On and on. WHAT CRAP THESE JERKS PRODUCE. In a just world this company would go belly up. RUN FROM THESE THIEVES.

Not Perfect But Pretty Good

I got a RipCurrent S Fat-Tire model in early July & have been riding it a lot since selling my car. It's super solid & really easy to pedal without assist, & I can hit 30mph with assist. A few issues I'm noticing, or had:The suspension forks are kind of garbage. They don't appear to have any hydraulic damping, are generally stiff, and they clank when I have to wheelie up curbs or just hit a lot of bumps. Also I see there's already oil leaking past the fork seals. The sound the powered hub makes is a bit sketchy. It doesn't seem right at all because it's not a consistent hum or whine. It constantly changes pitch at a steady speed. The front brakes are super loud when I have to brake hard. I ended up removing the metallic pads and putting organic pads in & they don't sound like an air horn now.The controller display stopped working after 4 or 5 months so I had to wait for them to send me a new one. The first one they sent me was wrong, so I had to wait yet again for the correct one to be shipped to me. Otherwise, I really like it but for the money it should be a little more buttoned up.

The worst company - Juiced Bikes is awful

The worst company, worst customer service and worst bikes of all time. Shocked they are still in business, but I guess when you rip people off when they buy a bike and then rip them off again with your shady “repair” process I guess you can scam more money from your customers to feed your greed. Avoid Juiced Bikes!
