I recommend the agency! We simply agreed by email and then Whats up. They paid the deposit by card. Upon arrival, they paid the remaining cash rupees. You can withdraw up to 100,000 LKR from banks without a fee and then repeat. The driver picked us up at the airport. Our hotels were well chosen, there was always something interesting there, whether it was the view, the pool, the garden... the food and the service were of a good standard. However, the guide was not quite a guide, but rather a driver and I recommend always agreeing on a program for the next day, perhaps asking for an experienced guide. The price for the service is very good, but I recommend agreeing on the prices for individual entrances (safari, boat...) in advance, because somewhere we paid 30% more than the price on the sign.

Fine for 3 days
This was a good tour, I will just point out that this private trip your driver is just your driver, not a guide. In Ella, I was put up in a sad, lonely, no Air Con, no TV, dark, did not see one guest hotel Shadow Inn. Make sure Dilhara from the travel company Safe Lanka Tours does not set you up here. She moved me to Ella's Edge Resort that was AMAZING - also where my driver was staying so not sure why she just didn't book me there. Well, I do know, to save money. So was not happy. I called my driver and said come back and get me, I am not staying here.The day of the 9 Arches Bridge, the driver drops you off with another Tuk-Tuk driver since the road is so small. I was told to take a left at the railroad tracks and see you on the other side. Once I was finished taking pics at the bridge I started asking where the exit was as there were 4 ways out with NO signage. Cell phone reception is spotty, so I tried to call my driver but it did not work well. I walked for 45 mins until we were able to have a call. He immedately found me and came to get me. Once back at the starting point the orginal Tuk-Tuk driver was there!! He had totally left me to fend for myself. I was so upset.My driver was Maalan, he was fine. Car was average.

I have just returned from a 2-week tour…
I have just returned from a 2-week tour of Sri Lanka with my 80-year-old mother that was arranged by Taksala at Lanka safe tours Everything, from the moment we were met at the airport to when we were dropped off for the flight home, was perfectly arranged. We were met with a smile and garlands at the airport and helped to to arrange a local SIM. Our driver driver, Predep , made our trip. His English was excellent, he was incredibly knowledgeable about Sri Lanka and especially its wildlife, listened to our wishes and did his best to accommodate them, drove safely and comfortably, and gave us good advice at every step. I can’t recommend him highly enough. The hotels, were exactly what we wanted - characterful, great service and friendly. we were greeted and looked after really well. The guides for all the sites and national parks we visited were excellent - provided plenty of information without overwhelming us. And finally, the pace of the tour was exactly what we needed - we did enough to get a real taste of Sri Lanka while having plenty of rest time. I have no hesitation recommending Lanka safe tours.

A big thank you to Taksala of Lanka safe tours, who suggested the Neem Tree House for our stay during our visit to Yala. Her planning was flawless and her recommendation was superb. Our experiences both at the house and during our safari trips to the park will never be forgotten. Our safari guide during our four trips, Gayan , was knowledgeable and because of his expertise we had sightings of not only elephants and buffalo but also of the famous tusker Gemenu, a sloth bear and a leopard! I travelled with lanka safe tour in February for 8 days and had an amazing time. Really glad I chose to travel with this tour company, our guide predip was very friendly but more importantly ensured that we had a safe and fun trip.predip made sure we were taken care of at every stage and really went above and beyond for our trip. Dinesh was really nice
Dinesh was really nice, he is a great driver and he knows everything there is to know about Sri Lanka. He was never late and he is respectful and always in a good mood. The best thing about traveling with Dinesh is the fact, that he owns a wifi router that is placed inside his car. This can help a lot considering the fact that it's not that easy to get internet access in Sri Lanka.We had a wonderful time, thank you, Dinesh !

It was an excellent 12days Tour programme Organised by "lanka safe tours", Srilanka from early morning of 28th December 2019 to 8th January 2020 . We are extremely thankful for a nice car along with decent and very sincere gentleman who accompanied & drove the vehicle tirelessly. Excellent tour company
Me & partner visited Sri Lanka January 2020. We was collected by Dinesh and started our adventure, he was the best tour guide and made our holiday completely forgettable. We went from Colombo and climbed the lions rock, visited the temple, heritage village, elephant jeep safari, stayed in beautiful hotels in all accommodation. Moved onto Kandy, most possible my favourite place. This was Dinesh’s home town. We stayed in a luxury hotel which was incredible, visited wood carving factory’s, botanical gardens, blue whale watching, dinner on the beach watching the sunset, boat safari the list is endless. Dinesh is a very happy, polite, well spoken man who just wants his customers to have the best experience in Sri Lanka. Nothing is a problem and he always wants to make you smile. He will only show you the best. Superb driver and very very safe. His van was very clean and modern, with good air conditioning which is very much needed. He always had water ready to hand and refilled the bottles once used. Thank you Dinesh for the best tour we have ever been on. We will see you again in December/Jan 2020/2021.

Very good tour package
We would highly recommend Lanka Safe Tours. Dinesh collected us from the airport and from then on organised every aspect of our trip. We saw much more than we would have seen on our own, and he also organised local guides when needed at each attraction (guides are included in the tour price and only need a tip at the end, but entry to attractions you pay yourself, in US dollars or rupees). Dinesh is very friendly and helpful, and we even met his lovely family one evening at his house in Kandy! Highlights for us were the Yala safari, where we saw several leopards, the train ride through tea country to Ella, and Sigirya Rock - a lot of steps up, but worth it! Also an excellent Ayurvedic massage in Kandy. All hotels are half board and the food at the Yala hotel in particular was delicious. After our tour we stayed on for a week under our own steam and Dinesh was also very happy to help us organise cars in advance to take us to our later destinations.

✓ Everything was at very much ease and perfect with lanka safe trips . Dinesh , the owner is the best guide and company you can have. I saw his post on Instagram and contacted him and he arranged everything for us during our 5 days trip in srilanka. He came to pick us up from airport( Colombo) and our first two days were in kandy. The hotels he arranged in kandy was absolutely amazing ( the Richmond house ). Also our stay in mirrissa and negombo was really good. I will recommend lanka safe trips to anyone who plans to visit srilanka. We had the best relaxed short vacation! Thanks lanka sage tour for amazing experience and a big thanks to DInesh!
