Complete Rip Off
Complete Rip Off. Paid $179 for them to write the documents only for the USTPO to reject them so now I'm out the filing fee twice. Could have done a better job myself.

I used Legal Sherpa's trademark service…
I used Legal Sherpa's trademark service back in June 2020 and paid $78.99 for the service. To date nothing has been done, there is no record of it being filed at the USPTO, and I can't get a hold of anyone at Legal Sherpa. I have used their site to ask for answers, I have emailed, and I have left countless messages on their number because no one ever answers when you call. It's been over 2 years and I have no trademark and no response so I guess they stole from me. Legal Sherpa should be named "illegal Sherp" because all they will do is rip you off!

LegalSherpa.com Never provided me with the services I paid for. It clearly said someone was going to contact me in 3 days I never was contacted and it's going on 3 weeks. I Went Ahead and filed my trademarks and service marks myself. Something I should have done at first. The answer is If I am to reevaluate everything I feel this full thing is a scam with a website that looks legit. Be leary I can't speak on anyone else experience but my own but it's awfully funny I'm one of about 20 people saying the exact same thing. People please stop trying to take the easy way out and just file the paperwork yourself.

POOR service, POOR communicators, Unprofessional
Bottom line, I paid them $200 and they never did the service. They kept saying I did not do my part and I DID TWICE. I HAVE EMAILS TO PROVE IT. They are VERY poor at communicating, non responsive in returning emails. When I contact my payment service to get my money back, they finally responded AFTER OVER A MONTH!!! DO NOT USE THESE people. Once I got my payment service involved to get them to respond they were rude.

I would add a lower score if I could! I paid for my product and that was it. Never heard from anyone after multiple messages sent and emails. I lost 200 dollars basically. This is a scam

Got scammed of 500$+
Got scammed of 500$+They will post your trademark request but cannot complete them as they are not atorneys. Completely useless. I wish I could sue them.

FRAUD - Put these losers out of business
WORST to ZERO communication. I filled out my application correctly the first time, and received a notification that my trademark was being processed. for 2 months I didn't hear anything back, until I get an email from them, stating that it wasn't signed correctly (which it was) and wasted 2 months of my time. I then re-sign the documents, as they said there was an "update to the document", to then be sent an email 3 weeks later, saying that it has not been signed correctly. I did this process 4 times, with ZERO human interaction or REAL conversations with anyone. No one replied to my emails, only a robot message, and no one responded to my calls. I paid them $250, and received DELAY after DELAY after DELAY. I asked for my money back, before 30 days, because I could sense something was off. I heard nothing back. Im disputing with my bank, and letting you all know to hire a PROFESSIONAL who actually cares.

Scam all the way
Paid them, they never contact you or call you back or answer the phone. They are a scam and are probably not a real company. Calling my credit card to cancel payment.

Buyer beware!!!!
This company will take you money and not answer any of your questions. I was unable to complete the finalization of my application after I paid for services to assist with my trademark. I called several times and left voicemails for a representative to assist. I emailed several times also and I received only one email reply with “ how can I assist” I left my order number for reference and since that one reply back still have yet to get anyone to respond with a solution to my issue. Do not trust this company. Competitors maybe a bit more in price but well worth wasting time and money on services not completed with Legal Sherpa.

DO NOT USE FOR TRADEMARKS
BAD FOR TRADEMARKS. LegalSherpa misfiled my easy to file, straight-forward trademark application and then said they would need an additional fee for the revision responses to the USTPO. They clearly did not fill out the application thoroughly enough for initial approval because they then charge you an additional $150 for revisions to their application. UPDATE: After I wrote this review, and paying them another $150 to have them fix the application they submitted, they demanded I remove this comment or they will not proceed with the additional work I paid for and issue me a refund for the $150 (but not the initial $XXX). They also threatened me with "action" if I do not remove this honest 100% legal review.

To be honest I'm starting to think…
To be honest I'm starting to think Legal Sharpa is a scam. Especially after reading some of the comments They sound the same on what I'm experiencing right now. They said 3 to 5 business days but it's been about 14 days and I haven't heard anything yet but I'm trying to be patient before I report this and expose the truth. I have saved all my documentation and emails so I'm ready to promote my experience.

I've used LegalSherpa for two different…
I've used LegalSherpa for two different companies of mine. I used the basic service, but I also did my own research to make sure the marks would be registered by the USPTO without any issues. If you're not sure what you are doing I recommend the upgraded package so your expectations are met. My last trademark took 7 months to finalize. The USPTO is slow, so be patient. Legal Sherpa provides a great service. I will continue to use them.

Avoid. They want your initial application to be rejected so they can sell you additional services. Much better to hire someone who cares about your application

This company is very poor. They did not follow through on my trademark but took my money. Do NOT trust these people with your trademark application. IMHO this is a scam outfit. Stay away there are many legit good companies out there that I have used before.

Better service thanks
I filed a trademark in December and have been calling, emailing and so far no responses in several months. I received a call from Robert today who said they did not receive and calls or email. He stayed on the line with me and we confirmed my emails were going through and recieving. Not sure what happen to all the called and emails I previously send. But Robert made it right and I am still happy to continue with this company and see how the rest turns out from here on. Great customer service today.

Scam!!!
I filed a trademark application on February 26th and even though my payment was drafted and has cleared from my bank account, I have not received an email or response from the company after leaving multiple voicemails and emails. Whenever you call it says that they are helping other customers and to leave a voicemail. No one ever picks up. This is clearly a scam and I will be reporting them to the Better Business Bureau.

Poor Customer Service
A number of years ago I worked with LegalSherpa to obtain a Trademark. As far as I can remember it was a good experience. Shame on me, I let it lapse. I have called three times, left messages each time, and emailed once looking for help to reinstate the Trademark. There has been zero responses from them. Not sure if I should try again or go somewhere else for help.

Great Service
I never give reviews but had to add my two cents. Legal Sherpa is a legit company and has been great to work with. I am an actual person and my company is Brown Girl Magic. I don't know anyone personally at Legal Sherpa. All I know is that every time I've worked with them they have been fast and efficient and I have been happy and had no issues. I would and will be recommending them to my friends who are business owners. I don't know what happened in other people's cases but I never experienced any of that. People should give them a chance. I am literally a happy customer.

Go somewhere else if you want any customer service
Going into my third week of trying to get a trademark completed with Legal Sherpa. I have 1 follow up question and I've sent 3-4 follow up emails...2 voicemails... absolutely no response. Called this morning and the line said they are "helping" other clients. I just called back again (it's 3PM PT / 6PM ET). The line says the office is now closed and to call back during normal business hours through 8:00PM ET!?!? Their customer service is a joke....

I worked with Legal Sherpa to file a trademark. As most of the good reviews stated - they are not a scam. They did help me to file the trademark. However, I am not very happy with the overall service. Not much communication to share with me what's going on. Not much follow up after my trademark was rejected by the government. Essentially, they tell me nothing they could do after I get rejected. While it's a fair statement, it's not a very satisfying experience.
