The sales rep gave over the top help to me, even noticing that the items that I initially ordered were not for the same system...called this to my attention and corrected the addresses for shipping and billing. She went far above I expected from online ordering. I am thankful for her help.

I was sent a defective filter and Masterspaparts wont replace or refund it

I was sent a defective filter. An expensive one at that. When I reachout to this company. I was asked to send photos of the filters that came in the box along with the packing list. I did. serveral emails follwed asking for pictures of the defective filter. I sent pics of 3 filters. The defective, the EcoPure filter and one of the filters that was being replace. Each picutre had a caliper measuring the diameter of the threads that screw into the filterr basket ports. the defective filter was 1.25 millimeters larger than the w other filters. Instead of correcting the issue by offering a refund/replacement. The rep messaged the manufacture in which the asked to see the threads of the defective filter and wanted to see the port where the filter screws into. Common sense. Its underwater and I would have to drain my hotub to get the pics. The rep sent the pics to the manufacture and the stated "The have calipers and your mesured in the wrong spot. I make custom automotive parts, so I know how and where to measure. Not only did I measure one place. I measured all axis's x/y a/b so I know my measurements were accurate. Bottom line instead of fix an issue, Masterspaparts pushed it off the vendor where the will not be responsible to the replacement. Another note, It

Master Spa Parts resists honoring warranties

Master Spa Parts sold me a spa cover almost 2 years ago advertising a 3-year warranty. When the cover started cracking after normal use, MSP began denying warranty service all the way up to the top (president Keith Hueffner). Their reason? It was missing a tag (a violation of federal law)! Despite clear statements on its website that it provides its own warranty, it blamed the manufacturer for refusing to cover the deterioration. The company has spent hours at a greater cost to itself vs. the comparatively low cost of just honoring the "exceptional customer service" it advertises and sending me a replacement skin. This kind of behavior usually indicates ego is involved, because it isn't a good business decision at all. Buyer beware - this company resists warranty issues!
