I ordered carpet from Mercer Carpet in Westminster
I ordered carpet from, Mercer Carpet several weeks ago. Katlin came over, showed me several samples and I picked out what I thought was a beige color. The price was very expensive. $4000 for a small living room and dining room and upstairs steps. I mentioned to Katlin many times that I only wanted the upstairs steps replaced. When the installers came over, I went downstairs and noticed that the installers were removing the downstairs carpet and pad on the steps. I was upset and called the company. When the salesperson came over, I told her that the color was gray and not beige. She compared it to the swatch. It was different, in my opinion. But she did not agree to give me a refund or replace the carpet. She also saw that the installers had, indeed replaced the carpet and pad on the downstairs steps. Since the issue was not going to be resolved, I filled a complaint with the BBB. Of course they tried to resolve the issue, but the company would not budge to resolve the issue but said that they would offer an "arbitration" for $150.00. Since I was not going to pay Mercer any more money. I offered a settlement of $400 to be sent to me by the 10th of July. The salesperson said that the problem was not with the steps, but the metal strips and she would offer a refund of $400.00 on the purchase of additional carpet. . The salesperson tried to dig herself out of the predicament she was in she made up a story about metal strips, and a $400 refund on new carpet. I will not place any further orders from Mercer again. And, hopefully if you are reading this review, you will shop around for a company that handles Customer Service more effectively. Not like Mercer Carpet. If I could put fewer than 1 star, I certainly would. Do Not buy from Mercer Carpet.

Mercer did a fantastic job
Mercer did a fantastic job. They were able to complete a project for us on very short notice and our new luxury vinyl flooring is absolutely beautiful. The staff are professional, knowledgeable and courteous - this is our second time using them and we would definitely work with them again.

Friendly and fast service, reasonable price
They recarpeted a part of my basement after I had some work done. They found an exact match for the existing carpet and within 2 weeks the work was done and looks perfect. No complaints at all. Friendly and fast service, reasonable price.

Great Experience with Mercer One
Our sales person was great! She went through numerous samples with us and after we selected the carpet we wanted she came to the house to expertly measure the area. Even brought samples to confirm the color selection versus the room colors.The installers were likewise just as professional.They were in and out in no time.

Mercer was a wonderful company to work …
Mercer was a wonderful company to work with. They helped us pick the appropriate flooring for our kitchen, their installers were professional, and they left our house clean when the work was completed. They even stayed late to finish the job instead of coming back on an additional day. Would definitely recommend.

Barry Jones oversold me almost 100 sqft …
Barry Jones oversold me almost 100 sqft of wood flooring. at first they would not take the extra back. i had to personally call the owner to arrange a return, once i returned the items, i was informed there was a $100 restocking fee. that was not disclosed until after the return. i would have chosen to keep the wood had i known about the $100 fee. it took several calls and weeks to actually receive the reimbursement on my credit card. that is the last time i do business with Barry Jones of mercer carpet one.

Good Quality, No High Pressure Sales
Have used them for kitchen floor replacement (twice) and for carpet. Quality and installation good, no high pressure to buy. Very easy to deal with.

Our experience at Mercer was wonderful
Our experience at Mercer was wonderful. Caitlyn took all our requirements into account, and steered us toward rugs that were perfect for us -- just the right sizes, colors, and fibers. She explained everything thoroughly and made the experience pleasant. Our rugs were delivered on time and were set up expertly. We are totally satisfied customers. We highly recommend Mercer.

Very happy with our purchase, and the whole process was handle very well from selecting and buying to the installation. We also appreciate Mercer working with us and coordinating with our renovation. Highly recommend Mercer!
I was very pleased with my experience at Mercer. Great work in the showroom followed by visits to the house to help narrow down the choices. Both carpet and hardwood look great. They were very flexible with timing of the installations. The crews that did the install were excellent!

I was happy with the installation. The customer service was problematic. The sales person emailed me after hours instead of calling me to explain why my order was delayed. When I expressed dismay at being emailed instead of called, he emailed me again instead of calling. This seemed like a strange approach for sales.The carpet looks different than the sample I borrowed before ordering, but it's not a big deal. The important thing is that it was installed correctly and seems like a quality product.

This was our third experience with Mercer. Everyone from sales to installation was friendly, professional and thorough when completing the job. That is why in several years we returned to carpet 2 homes and my mothers. Highly recommend the company.
