Company is Quickly Degrading
I sadly have to give this shop a one star after 10 years of referring others to them. It seems the father who built this business has given it to his son, and things have drastically changed. Now my service has been so bad that I am looking for a new mechanic shop. The great manager they recently hired, Gary, has been replaced by a man who used to be a good worker, but lately he cannot control himself. He has regular outbursts and out-of-control behavior. Based on my discernment, I suspect alcohol or something to that effect. This is a tragedy. Be warned, Mitchem Tire is not as it used to be. A car is nothing to play around with. Lives are at stake.In response to Mitchem Tire owner's (Steve Kruse) false claims, I have legal documented proof of his manager, Joshua Faulkner's recent assault and DUI charges. I have known the manager, Joshua Faulkner (Josh), for over ten years. We are friends on Facebook. When I have come into your auto shop, we have both bragged to customers about our long friendship. My exposing him now for substance abuse is to intervene on his behalf. My suspicion was confirmed when his father drove him to work and waited for hours for him to get off, while I was there waiting for Gary and Alex to fix my car. Gary and Alex are new to me. After four months of driving with dangerously poor visibility and Josh not helping me, your new manager Gary was the one willing to help me fix the problem, assisted by Alex. You, the new owner, are only enabling Josh to his hurt, and to the hurt of your customers. For proof of my allegations of alcoholism and aggression, I have gone to Missouri Case Net and found recent charges against him for driving under the influence of alcohol and for three separate assault charges. Shame on you for putting your customers in danger, knowing your manager has been assaulting people and driving drunk. January 8th 2025 is his final disposition before the court for these charges.
