I’ve been to a few NARS stores and every time the staff have been so friendly and helpful. They’re knowledgeable without being pushy, which makes such a difference. NARS definitely knows how to pick their team.I’ve also ordered online and everything has been smooth no problems with ordering or delivery. Always a great experience.

I’ve been trying to repurchase the Nars tinted moisturiser and the lightest shades Terre neuve and Finland are completely out of stock and have been for quite some time. These are staple shades for very fair skin and it’s frustrating to see this happen.

They don’t even deserve one star. A few days ago i wanted to buy some concealer online so i signed up for the NARS emails and made an account, I’ve been a makeup artist for over 25 years but usually just shop in store. Anyways the email sends you a thank you for ordering online for the first time 15% off your order, so I look at the code to get my 177$ worth of products and the code is jumbled only showing the top half of the letters and numbers, so i clicked the redeem now link, but that doesn’t work so I decided to call the customer service number. I spent 30 mins on the phone with this guy saying he couldn’t find the 2 emails that I sent in reply to his email while on the phone call and told me he didn’t want me to have to wait for my emails to come through to him which makes zero sense since we’re already on the phone here, and he said he was going to “escalate “ the issue when he sees my response emails including the picture of the email with the oversized lettering. I said why don’t you just send me the link or code for the 15% off. No he could not do that.So Ive been waiting for him to respond to the email that was on Friday morning now its Monday night so suddenly I get an email saying that they have not heard anything from me in a couple of days , lolllllllllllll. This company is SO CORRUPT they are so bloody cheap they don’t even give professional makeup artists in Canada a Pro rate. Which is an absolute disgrace. They are a joke. All the major makeup companies actually sell all the same products. Just put their own logo and packaging same crap different prices. Chanel Nars. You name it it’s all the same my friend worked for these companies in New York …Ladies buy from small businesses, vegan or anything other then these guys they don’t deserve your money:) I’m glad i didn’t get the makeup i remember now why i stopped purchasing from them!Horrible company..

They sent to me the product with different color of package and weight. But the customer service insisted on telling me that it's the same product, just different presentation. No exchange.

Royal Mail lost my parcel and NARS’ handling of it was extremely disappointing. I was initially told to wait, only to later be informed (after chasing again) that the parcel was actually lost.I originally paid £18.50. NARS are now offering only an extra 10% discount, meaning I’d have to pay £23.31 for the same item due to an issue that wasn’t my fault.They refuse to match the original price or offer a fair replacement — something most reputable retailers would do. I expected better customer service and won’t be purchasing from NARS again.

Bottle and cap do not seal closed properly
I bought NARS Light Reflecting foundation. It is very runny and watery. The issue is not what is in the bottle but the bottle and cap itself. It does not seal closed properly, so it spills everywhere if not upright. Whether I twist or push down hard, it does not seal. When I travel I have to tape the cap on and wrap it in a plastic bag. That’s ridiculous for any fluid product, let alone a high end make up. I emailed the company and while they initially apologized they made no suggestion on fixing the issue. I wrote again and they asked for a receipt. I did not have my receipt but asked for an address and name of a contact to send them their flawed bottle and cap. They did not get back to me. You can’t sell fluid in a bottle with a cap that does not seal closed. Full stop. I’ll never buy another product from NARS again.

Lipstick came damaged
Lipstick came damaged. Sent email and they immediately said they would send a replacement. Asked me to confirm my shipping address which I thought was an odd request since they had it on file. Regardless, I provided this to them and they then completely ghosted me. Oddly enough, I received an email a few days later stating since I never confirmed my shipping address they were closing out may case. What?!?!So then I tried to call, the phone picks up with only a barking dog in the background and no human to speak to. Stayed on the phone for several minutes and still nothing. Hung up and called again and the exact same thing happened. Frustrated, I tried texting which was only AI and completely not helpful. Finally got it to understand I wanted to talk to an agent and they made me repeat my name 4x (not even kidding!). Again and again, they asked for my first name, then last name then email address. Just over and over again, the same questions. I really think this is Nars' way to get the customer to give up! Even if the lipstick had not come damaged it is completely over priced. Extremely small, almost looks like a sample product.

I would give them a zero if offered. I worked cosmetic counters for 35 years and without good customer service you have no business. I ordered a specific amount for a gift and to recieved the bonus items offered if spending over $100. I recieved no bonus products. Customer service basically there’s no guaranteed. But I can talk to done e about finding right product?! Ok but why? She said I’m sending you prepaid return for items. Uh ok so I returned

If possible I would have given zero stars, I’ve actually never had a worse customer service experience with a company. Imagine building an order, they ship it incorrectly so you call and they tell you they can stop the shipment and return it no problem but when you ask to have the order recreated and sent out correctly they tell you it can’t be done at the same discount. Horrible , horrible customer service, I can find better brands to support and will just no longer purchase from Nars

Absolutely warm and welcoming atmosphere from when my friend and I walked in and had a great consultation and conversation with the staff, especially Erin who made the consultation and shopping in nars amazing while going through makeup products in the shop and Erin was great informing us what products were best suited for us and it was great to meet her ❤️

I don't know about the product itself because I realized right away that it wasn't the right color for me. But trying to return it has been an incredible customer service nightmare, and I think I'm going to have to give up.

Ordered a foundation for my mums birthday. The package arrived 2 days later totally empty! An empty box.. had to call to get another one sent out. Spent ages on the phone, had to sign something online to say i wasnt lying and 2 days later they still havent sent the replacement. It should have been sent out immediately next day delivery for the inconvenience!! Never again.

BIGGEST SCAM – Avoid at all costs!
I placed an order and requested a return shortly after receiving it. I was sent a return label that didn’t work. I contacted customer service via email, since the phone number listed doesn’t even work (seriously?!). After several follow-up emails and repeated requests, I still haven’t received a valid return label.This is by far the worst customer experience I’ve ever had. No support, no solution, and zero accountability. I feel completely scammed. Absolutely unacceptable – shame on this company for treating customers like this.
