Been trying to warn people off of this site, but Google has suspended reviews. The page says permanently closed... but the website is back up, showing plants for sale.My first small test order went well. Plants were healthy, so I placed a large order of over $150. It was winter, cold, and they shipped the plants the day before a frigid long weekend. My plants spent those 4 days in (likely) an unheated warehouse or truck and were way dead when they arrived. The first few emails back and forth were all about sorry and replacing them as soon as the weather warmed. Long story short, they stopped replying, I never received a refund or replacements despite multiple requests. Then they 'shut down'... but now seem to be back in business. DO NOT BUY FROM PLANT COLLECTIVE.There's a chance you'll get healthy plants. But there's also a chance you'll get dead ones and they'll ignore you until you give up.

It's been almost a year since I place an order worth $136. No replies to emails, no refund and no order. This company is basically bankrupt at this point. At least they should let their customers know they're SOL. They still have their website up however and it looks like business as usual. Don't place an order with them as they you'll just lose your money.

I always ordered from here, and never had a problem. Except last year! The order they sent of airplants, well, over half were fried from the heat pack and brown and dead. The others were not so great either, and were not near the large size they claimed in the description.Mine were 2+ inches smaller than they claimed, yet I paid for much larger plants. Stupidly, I allowed them to give me a 100.00 gift certificate. A short while later I put in my new order. Months went by, they would reply to my enquiry saying they were behind in orders and appreciated my patience-I think they more appreciated my stupidity in helping them rip me off! More months..and they took longer to reply, with the same answer. I was never rude, but I kept asking them to please send my order. And then several months ago they stopped writing back to me at all. I am heartbroken and very disappointed. I had ordered from them for about two years and never had a problem. So this has gone on for a year and I have given up. The sad thing is when this was all going on, it was clear that they were still selling plants on that website when they well knew that they could not fulfil the orders. So a lot of people, like me, or waiting for orders that they never received. And yet they still took new orders so that they could make the very last penny that they could possibly make before they apparently went under. This is so upsetting, but there's nothing I can do about this. I had my computer die on me several months ago, and I lost all of my emails and proof of contact and orders with them. So if you are out there waiting for an order, trust me when I say, that you are never ever going to see your order. We've all been duped. I cannot believe they would contrive to rip off all of their customers like this.... Many of us who don't have a lot of money, but simply wanted to have the joy of cheering up our small spaces with green living things.....shame on you plant collective!

They flat out stole from me. I placed an order that they said would be possible to fill. I then got an email months later saying it was too cold to ship could I wait for warmer weather. I said yes. After about 6 months from my order date they had still sent nothing! So I emailed to ask what was going on, they said it was out of stock. So another month goes by and I send an email with all previous emails attached and explain at this point I want my 100$+ dollars back. They reply that they are under new management and will look into it. It has now been a full year. No plants, no money.Please consider if you want to support a company that will treat its customers this way.

I ordered plants over a year ago now. I have sent them probably 30 emails at this point ranging from totally polite to extremely pissed off. I want a refund or my plants...yet every email goes unanswered. I have tried calling, but I'm unable to get through. Steer clear. This is a scam.

AWFUL company
AWFUL company. Ordered plants February 25th, they told me they didn’t have two of the three bundles I ordered and could refund me or I could wait but they had no time estimate. So I was refunded for only 1 bundled and told the rest would be shipped right away. The order still says not fulfilled and no one has answered me in months.

Do NOT order here!!!I had previous had an order I was happy with so I re-ordered some airplants (which by the way are on sale on their website!!) and six months later I still have not received them! Did not get a refund and my emails go unanswered! Total scam, totally disappointed. 👎

SCAM!!! I ordered from them successfully in 2020 and 2021. I place an order a month ago, my credit card was charged, but the order has not been delivered. My emails have gone unanswered.

Do not order from this company. I placed an order over a month ago and paid for the order. The plant never delivered, and I have left two voicemails, sent four emails, one Facebook message and one instagram message. I have received no response from them. I previously ordered from them in 2020 but clearly they are no longer in business, despite their website.

I used to love ordering from this company. My plants always showed up so fast and beautiful. I ordered in February and I'm still waiting for my order, it is now August. They have quit responding to my emails now. I want my money back but they aren't giving it back.

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY. My first order 6 months ago came completely damaged and after a lot of hassle they offered me a gift card, so I took it. I’ve tried to use that gift card to purchase some soil and pots because their plants are horrible and my order never shipped. Multiple emails, no response. Contacted them on social media, no response. This company needs to be shut down!

I placed an order on Jan. 1st, 2022. After various delays dues to freezing weather, etc. I was assured that my order wouldf be shipped in March. By April nothing had been sent. My emails in May went unanswered and in June I requested a full refund (more than half a year after placing the order). Again, no response from Plant Collective, so I pursued a refund through my credit card. RBC doesn't usually allow a charge dispute after five months, but as this appears to be fraud - they processed the request for me. Next time, I'll buy houseplants at my local florist or nursery.

SCAM!!! They take your money and don’t ship your order. Then your follow up emails go unanswered. I placed an order for air plants and checked their delivery policies. I should have checked these reviews first. They ignore your emails and fail to send you what you pay for. I suspect the few good reviews are fake.

I paid for my order in Nov/21. It’s June 1/22 and I still haven’t received my order nor will they return emails. I got many different excuse as to why they couldn’t fulfill my order but my requests for updates have been ignored for the past 6 weeks. They strung this out long enough that I cannot complain and get a refund from my credit card company either. Don’t be fooled by all their 5 star ratings on their home site, they don’t provide that kind of service. I’m so disappointed. The plants I ordered were part of an anniversary gift that had been a long time in planning how I have nothing. Don’t give these people your money, you’ll be throwing it away.
