I have written Revlon consumer about Mitchum deodarant refund

I have written Revlon consumer about the Mitchum deodarant issue. I have written them 10 times now.they do not reply.I have asked them for a complaints form 6 times and nothing.they keep asking me to fill out various forms. They are obviously delaying giving me a refund or any compensation. This is the worse company I have ever had dealings with.First they provide a dangerous deodarant and then refuse to refund or reply.Avoid at all costs.

Mitchum deodorant compensation disgrace!…

My husband and I suffered from excruciating red rashes under both our arms after using Mitchum roll-on deodorant. These were sore and blotchy. They were also continually itchy for several weeks, causing scaring.Revlon contacted me in October asking for more details about the reactions we had suffered after using the deodorants.I replied with a full explanation, attaching photographs of my arms, as requested. In return I have received some £3.50 vouchers for more Mitchum deodorant! Really!!!! Is this acceptable compensation for second-degree burns?!

No S***'s given!

Spent months trying to sort out compensation for the damage they have caused due to the mitchum roll on incident. I had to take time out of work to see a GP, I was then given a prescription in which later on realising I did not need, so was on antibiotics for no reason, it was due to the burn and rash from their product, they promised refund for product, prescription cost and loss of earnings - months later nothing and correspondence is now being ignored from the "senior claims advisor" Revlon should be ashamed and offering petty compensation and then not following through is disgusting. You have caused damage to people and have done little to sort, can see why so many people are complaining.

Shocking treatment of customers

Shocking treatment of customers. Sell a faulty product that has been subject to a safety recall, and their customer service insists on requiring customers to jump through such time-consuming hoops to reclaim £2. Never again

Sold me 4 Mitchum deodorants which were recalled as unsafe to use. Replied to my first email seeking a photo. I replied and then - silence. No acknowledgment or any response to that or two follow up emails seeking a refund. Sells an unsafe product and then runs away-you buy anything from them again?

Please don’t risk using any Revlon…

Please don’t risk using any Revlon products, initially they were helpful when I complained about burns caused by Mitchum roll on, I received a voucher to replace the faulty product, which I will not use, I sent pictures of my burns and I was told I would get a call, now they ignore my e mails, if I had money I would sue them.

Chemical burns from deodorant

When I got chemical burns due to a manufacturing issue with my Mitchum deodorant, I expected that a major company such as Revlon, would have tried to put the situation right. The deodorant caused substantial burns to my armpits, it has left me with rough skin and discoloration at the burn sites. All I am being offered in way of compensation is a measley £3.50 voucher to use on more of their rubbish products!Oh, and I haven't received it yet, 6 weeks later Awful company

The deodorant issues are now well…

The deodorant issues are now well known. My issue is that revlon, with its new management team !, just stick their heads in the sand about the issue. My wife and I both suffered for three weeks on holiday and had no clue it was deodorant (just unlucky we both used Mitchum and both were affected batches). I have written multiple times to revlon about their radio silence on the issue and guess what , they won’t respond to my queries. As I said to them, mistake will always happen but the sign of quality companies is how they react to the mistake and doing nothing is cowardly. How about : 1) they got on the front foot and communicated the issue so people aware to stop using the faulty products2) anyone that sent photo evidence got a free year supply and £100. Small fry in the scheme of things

Chemical Burns from their Roll On and treated with contempt by Revlon

I was one of the women badly burnt by Revlons Mitchum faulty Roll On deodorant. Despite detailing the scarring (with pictures), and explaining the intense pain and weeping and scabbing caused under my armpits by their product they simply sent me a stock letter of apology. They sent me two vouchers for further Revlon products totalling £7. One for £3.50 was 'for my inconvenience' to use their words which is insulting to say the least. I had sleepless nights and had to take medication to try to deal with the pain from their product.Appalled by their complete lack of care and response considering what their product did to me. Shocked that a major brand would behave this way. I would give a no star rating if I could. I would never trust any Revlon product again if this is how they respond when they give someone chemical burns.

This company is total rubbish in dealing with customers complaints. Now back in June 2025 i raised a complaint about one of there products had to communicate with the USA which has been a nightmare First they promised to post me some vouchers to cover the cost of the product & a few for a good will Gesture which never arrived then they asked to for my back details so they would pay some UK pounds in to my back account i gave them all the detail they asked for & since then i have not had any money no vouchers & no contact from them at all I have even emailed the CEO of this company who as not even replied to me this is a joke & what ever happened to my bank details. PLEAS PLEASE Implore please don't buy there products.

Mitchum Deodorant caused burns Revlon not interested

My son has used Mitchum roll on deodorant for years. He used a new bottle and within hours felt pain that during the night kept waking him. By the morning he had red/purple burns under both armpits. Saw a pharmacist who prescribed cream. Burns are still healing. Contacted Revlon via their preferred method of complaint and he has received no reply. We have no idea what caused the burns which may have helped the medical professionals treat it and if they will scar.

Chemical burns - absolutely appalling customer service

Absolutely appalling customer service. After using Mitchum deodorant faithfully for the last 30-odd years, I had two months of extreme pain - burns & rashes - following an apparent “change in the production process”. I’ve submitted an online form for Mitchum, but haven’t even had the courtesy of a reply. I’ve commented on their social media, but again, nothing.I will never use any Revlon products again. Never. Imagine a product leaving you with chemical burns only for the company to be so uncaring.

Mitchum deodorant chemical burns

Had a bad reaction to Mitchum roll on deodorant which caused underarm blisters & couldn’t wear any deodorant for a couple of weeks until my armpits healed. I contacted them & a month later have heard nothing back. On their Instagram page they advise you to DM them with your email address if you’re still waiting to hear back, so they can look into it further, & then send a reply saying the inbox isn’t monitored! I will never purchase Mitchum deodorant again 😡

Mitchum deodorant burned my armpits

Mitchum deodorant burned my armpits - and a different batch number from those listed. Mitchum, after ignoring me for weeks, eventually offered refund of £3.50 or Revlon voucher for £7 to buy more of their awful product!! I would give zero stars if it was possible. Avoid, avoid, avoid!!! I wasnt able to use any deodorant for a month. I now use Body Shop Aloe and Fussy.
