RØDE Connect Needs Work for NT-USB Mini Users

I tried using RØDE Connect with my NT-USB Mini, and it’s been a frustrating experience. The app keeps telling me to plug in headphones—even when they’re already connected to the mic. I’ve updated firmware, disabled drivers, switched USB ports, and followed every guide I could find. Still no luck.It feels like the app is trying to gaslight me into thinking my setup doesn’t exist. I just want to record, not troubleshoot for an hour.If you enjoy tech-induced existential crises and shouting “WHY” at your screen, this app is for you. Otherwise, grab Audacity, OBS, or a friendly potato. They’ll probably listen better.

Not compatible with Apple

I wanted to start a podcast and bye gear that was compatible with MacBook Air - i bought wireless pro - and it didn’t work- it’s not compatible with GarageBand! I called customer support and he did a great job of helping me to download another program- and send a mail that very politely said “well the microphone works- just not on apple GarageBand - so you have to contact apple and fix that yourself” I am not satisfied with what supposed to be a Professional product is not compatible with Apple and that’s “my problem” because their product works on other platforms?!

Rode NTH-100 Headphones

Let's be realistic... things go wrong. I purchased these headphones back in 2021. Yes, I had a problem whereby a plastic clip that holds the earpiece in place just snapped. On checking this out on the net, I found that my experience was not unique. I rang RODE here in the UK and explained what happened. Even though the product was four years old, they just told me that there was a problem with the clip and that they would send out a new and improved version of the headphones without any argument. To say I was gobsmacked by not having to argue my case is an understatement. The lady at Rode Customer Service was beyond superb in the way she handled my enquiry. I rang up to let them know there was a problem with their Rode NTH-100 Headphones and I ended up getting a new replacement free of charge.NOW THAT IS CUSTOMER SERVICE AT IT'S BEST!

Caring CS

I'm reviewing rode.com as I had an excellent experience with the CS. I had some issues with getting good input signal when pairing the GOII with Action 5 Pro and from both parties involved, RODE was very efficient in communicating and solving the issue.Thank you, Matthew.

Rode NTH-100 Headphones

Rode NTH-100 HeadphonesGreat product when working but a key piece that holds the earpiece to the headband and allows easy adjustment the "fitlok" breaks easily and does NOT appear to be available as a spare part.Do not buy these headphones unless you're happy to replacement regularly.

Customer service from a HUMAN...!

In a modern world of AI robotic live chats, endless FAQ mazes and "Press 1" phone calls it is wonderful to experience true customer support and service from human beings who actually seem to care about customers and the business they work for.I purchased a WirelessME Røde microphone and it should've been simple plug and play. But this didn't happen with both my Pixel 7 Pro and iPhone 11Pro Max. They kept using their inbuilt Phone mics. So I contacted Røde customer support for assistance.The service I received was exceptional. Patient, calm, well-articulated, clear instructions. Not pushy or dismissive.Røde: Please do not change how you approach customer service and support!My issue was ultimately resolved with a workaround that I would never have been able to solve myself.Thank you Luke J.A bonus is that Røde microphones are incredibly high quality and deliver reliable sound.Thank you Røde!

Top level warranty exchange service

I got a terribly bad quality microfone that broke only after 1.5 years. However, their warranty service in Finland, Svanfield, saved the day with their extremely quick and professional service. Thank you Joni Nuortimo, yuo are the best!

Please try to find another company…

Please try to find another company before wasting your money, but mainly time. I ordered rode wireless ii for my iPhone only to find that they did not bother to include all the cables in the package. Nowadays, people use iPhone or Android, and this should have been included. It was not so easy to find that I need some special cable and once I found it out I just came to realize that it is impossible to get... Another reason why it should have been included in the package. So now I have to wait a month or to buy it from overseas with additional shipping and taxes ... They have very bad support and description on how to use the product.

I purchased a Rode Mic which cost me…

I purchased a Rode Mic which cost me over £400.00 couple of years ago, and I have to say the build quality is amazing, but as far as customer service is concerned not so, having spoken to Rode I was advised to return the mic under warranty to there repair hub in England I have spent months waiting for its return, lengthy comms, being told they could not get the parts, so they would request a replacement, it’s now over 6 months on and still I have no mic, I was then offered to have a refund due to not being able to have a replacement, this I was told could only be done through the original place I bought the mic and I was told that the Rode rep would be in communication with the place I bought it from to arrange the refund, having contacted the place I bought it from, the reply I got was, we are unable to refund, to cut a long story short I am now without mic and over £400.00 out of pocket. My next port of call will be the office of fair trading in the hope that they can help sort out this mess. Extremely good Mic but customer service leaves a lot to be desired. A very disappointed customer.I would like to update this review for the record the issue did finally get resolved and I received my monies back.
