Avoid at all costs! Unprofessional and obstructive

Do not use them! They are the worst! I shipped my vehicle through Schumacher Cargo, who assigned Easy Freight (Le Havre) as the local broker. My experience has been a nightmare.Even though I am an EU citizen returning to France with full documentation, Easy Freight kept demanding irrelevant paperwork as if I were a non-EU citizen. Each time I complied, they invented new requirements/paperwork.What made this worse is that Schumacher in the U.S. did nothing to defend me as their paying customer. Instead of stepping in, they effectively sided with their French agent, leaving me caught in endless bureaucracy and stress. Run! Use others!

WARNING:DO NOT USE FOR SHIPPING TO…

WARNING:DO NOT USE FOR SHIPPING TO UK!!!New York City-London…my cargo (personal belongings /effects including important work items!!!) left 20th of August 2021. SCHUMACHER CARGO LOGISTICS CONTACTS STEVE B AND THIBAUT V insisted I pay the full agreed amount last October 2021 saying that goods will not be released if I didn’t pay upfront so in good faith I paid the full amount. It is now 11th December 2020…IT HAS YET TO ARRIVE!!! Nearly 4 months!! Schumacher have been paid so they are brushing responses off and referring me to the third party who say my shipment won’t arrive until mid January 2022!!!SCHUMACHER CARGO LOGISTICS DOES NOT CARE ABOUT YOUR SHIPMENTS FOLKS!!! THEY CARE ONLY ABOUT COLLECTING $$$!!!They no longer correspond to my emails in-fact the Manager STEVE B appears to be “out of the office” now for what seems over a month. SCHUMACHER CARGO LOGISTICS WE AGREED ON PAPER A DOOR TO DOOR SERVICE NEW YORK TO LONDON UK…1)WHERE EXACTLY IS MY SHIPMENT??? 2)WHY ARE YOU NOT FOLLOWING UP??? AND3) WHEN WILL I BE RECEIVING MY PERSONAL BELONGINGS ???NOTE : My mistake has been that during the pandemic, I wrongly, logically assessed, that a big corporate shipping company would serve me better for my shipping. If you read this email…please give trust in smaller shipping businesses ( I’ve used them before) they have been and are more attentive, efficient as they are keen for your patronage and more appreciative of receiving your hard earned $$$!!!

Steer away from this company

Beginning seemed to be fine - until they had to actually do something. Took about 3 times longer than promised and I ended up paying more than was promised. Rude customer service as well. Would not recommend to anyone.

A disaster from start to finish.

We shipped our 1965 Ford Mustang from New Jersey to Rotterdam with this company. We were told it would take 3 to 4 weeks. Instead it took over 3 months!! The service we received was incompetent, inattentive and sloppy. I also arrived with large scratches and bits broken off. We would never use this company again.
