Hello,my family and I visited the restaurant for a bite to eat before heading to the range, this was the fire time I had been there as it was recommended. When we arrived the waitress was helpful and told us to find a table as their was 5 of us and hadn't booked,I stumbled across the members only area only to be very rudely and aggressively told by a member that (THIS IS A MEMBERS ONLY AREA NOT FOR YOUR FAMILY BUT FOR US GOLFERS ONLY).I understand that some golf restaurants have the areas for members only but the way he came across was very aggressive, I myself am a golfer and a headgreens keeper at a very prestigious golf club.Only to make matters worse, the light lunch we had wasn't the greatest either, cold food and very slow and forgetful service.I know whoever this message gets to you can't enforce to the members to be more accommodating to visitors but maybe a quiet word? Thanks for reading and again sorry for the negative review!

A lovely evening at a works Christmas Party last night. Special thanks to the amazing bouncer Katy who stayed with our daughter when her taxi didn't show up and made sure she was safe.

Very trustworthy, professional and friendly
I had a full bag fitting with Jamie. I was skeptical at first since I was a bit rusty and was a little worried I’d just be sold to. I just had a lesson with my trusted “coach” to fix some swing faults and he was very impressed with the fitting of the clubs. Jamie didn’t try to sell me any particular brand/club but based everything on data/performance. I tried various brands/models “blind” and picked the best performing ones. To quote my coach; “glad to see they did a good job”. I definitely recommend Jamie at Silvermere for a fitting. Very trustworthy, professional and friendly service.

Fitting experience
I had a fitting with Harry. He was excellent. Patient and informative. Nothing was too much trouble and most of all if he thought there was no need to sell me something he didnt try to sell it to me. Highly recommended.

Great Experience at Left Handed Golf – Shoutout to Jeevs
Popped into Left Handed Golf to pick up 3 new wedges and got looked after by Jeevs – top guy! He gave me some solid advice, checked over the specs of my irons, and made sure the gapping between clubs was spot on.Really friendly and easy to deal with – no pressure, just proper helpful service. You can tell he knows his stuff and wants to make sure you're walking away with what actually suits your game.Massive thanks to Jeevs for the help – if you're heading to Left Handed Golf, definitely ask for him!

GREAT EXPERIENCE WITH A LAUGH
This was my first time visiting Silvermere golf store. What a delight! I am new to golf (finally joining the rest of the family! 🙄😅) and was looking for a pair of golf shoes. Dan was very helpful (and patient!) in recommending shoes to try on and I ended up buying a pair almost double the price of the ones I was hoping to buy! I joked with Dan and Joe (other salesman I was having a laugh with) that they should throw in a pair of socks as a sweetener 😉 and guess what? Joe did! 😃 Thank you, Dan and Joe - great partnership which means I may well be back! So watch out 😆.

Purchased a pair of golf shoes
Purchased a pair of golf shoes, which can I say the customer service was horrendous from start to finish, tried them whilst on a golf simulator when I got back home really didn’t get on with them as they had really high heel there was barely any room to walk in the shop or try holding a club whilst wearing them. Took them back the next day and the store manager was obnoxious and refused to replace saying they have been worn, I strongly recommend not using this store as the after sales service is worse than poor. I my self will never be going back there.

Superb as always
On our annual trip (might be more after today) to Silvermere we were looked after incredibly well by all staff but a massive thankyou to Joe in particular with his help on the shoes. Fantastic advice regarding what grip is best and the best type of shoe for my foot type. See you in 6 months!

Superb golf fitting.
Just come back from Silvermere for a club fitting. First one ever. The guy I saw was Jamie Northcote. He was superb. I was expecting a sort of pushy salesman, on the contrary. At no point did he say these are the best clubs for your swing “blah blah blah” buy these. He genuinely liked his job. They had loads of clubs to choose from. Just really impressed.

Well worth the travel …
I live near Brighton but travel to Silvermere to get both clubs and equipment as I've found the range provided exceptional, pricing always very competitive and customer service excellent. Today I bought a new PowaKaddy cart bag but needed some assistance with it's compatibility with my current trolley - superb service by the '2 Joe's' - a very happy customer !

I visited Silvermere twice over the X-mas period . Once for some new tops , a new pair of shoes and then, after my trolley broke during a game, a new carry bag. There is such a great selection . Both times Joseph Bennett gave me great support - he listened, considered my needs and proposed . Exactly what I needed - and how I like to shop . Thank you Joseph ....

Club fitting
I recently had a custom club fitting with Ron Noel at Silvermere Golf. He was excellent. I was a bit nervous, having just started back at golf after a 25 year layoff!! but he put me at ease straight away. I’m a small woman (5 ft 1”) and because I’m just starting back I wanted some forgiving clubs but also clubs that I could grow into. He showed me a reasonable range of clubs and we took a long time (ie sufficient) going through each one and adapting as we went through. He had a nice relaxed approach and there was no hard sell. I felt that I came away with the right clubs for me. The clubs should arrive within the next 3 weeks and I’ll report back with an update on the rest of the service from Silvermere and the new clubs. I should add that the shop has one of the best ranges of women’s clothes in the area, although perhaps there could be a better selection of shoes. Overall a great experience at Silvermere. Thanks

Great fitting and retail service
My wife and I both had a woods fitting. Both fitters Dave and Neil were great and fitted us with excellent clubs; my wife was able to take hers away with her and mine arrived within a few days. The shop is also well worth a visit-vast choice and good value-we bagged a few bargains!Customer service was refreshingly good in all aspects-arrangements, fitting, shop and after-service.I would thoroughly recommend Silvermere.

We had one of the worst experiences…
We had one of the worst experiences with the Silvermere golf store - shoe department. This is the 2nd shoe we had to replace due to collapse of the shoe support with the last one having hole in the right shoe. The customer experience and tone of the staff (Joe & others) was discerning and they put the blame on us stating the shoe horn was not used hence the issue. This is the most ridiculous explanation I have heard over my entire life and really disappointed with the overall experience. Further they asked me to leave the shoes and will charge me postage to return back to them. Sorry but a absolute NO-GO shoe store in my experience

Couldn’t be more pleased
Couldn’t be more pleased. Went there to try on a Gavin Green jacket. They allowed me to go outside with a club to check if there was restrictions in movement. When I went to buy it was told that I would get a10% discount (£59) by getting their app. Their price as £39.99 less than my online searches. All the staff were friendly. I have always heard positive things about them.

Good but not great .
For those that have never been allow me to tell about Silvermere golf & leisure… First the good , probably the best golf shop in the South east of England, the range of clubs , bags, shoes is staggering. There’s a decent selection of clothing too along with accessories. The end of range sale shop (located on the top floor of the driving range) is full of decent deals as long as you’re not one to keep up with the Jones, though it’s very hit and miss when stock is put out for purchase. They have a loyalty card that gathers points like your Tesco or Sainsbury card does and you can use it when ever you spend except on the driving range’s ball dispenser ( tip, buy your balls downstairs in the office and then get the points on your card not at the dispensing Machine) . The range itself is fitted with excellent tracking machines though the balls are somewhat ropey ! The nineteenth hole is an excellent bolt hole for both liquid and solid refreshment though the service can be slow . The course is two nine holes put together as an afterthought or so it seems , the front nine wooded the back somewhat open waiting for saplings to mature. The bad , The car park is nearly always full but the overflow has room though it’s much dustier. The putting Green is quite disappointing given the size of the overall place . The chip and bunker areas are a trek to get to ( unless you parked in the overflow car park ) and on the occasion I’ve been I’ve often left with a feeling that my attempts to spend my money in the ‘pro’ shop has been hard work. I feel that they are on a percentage deal and because I don’t know what I want exactly they sort of dismiss you. They aren’t rude but they aren’t overly helpful either. You’re able to try new clubs on the range, many faces are masked but some older clubs aren’t. Nothing odd there I know but if someone told me I was looking to buy a whole new set but wanted to get the short list shorter by hitting a few irons I’m not sure I’d offer them just a few 7 irons, I kinda felt I wasn’t taken seriously or worse they couldn’t be bothered to actually go the extra mile . People go there because they have everything you could want but I’m not sure they all leave there smiling.
