IMMEDIATE RESPONSE
Stock Donator immediately advises us as to a donation and once confirmed, funds are deposited to our account. They are very efficient in managing stock donations because some do not flow as smoothly as they should; they advise us quickly when donations aren't received in a timely manner. Very pleased with our relationship with Stock Donator.

For 7 years our small sailing…
For 7 years our small sailing organization has used this service. The customer service provided to our donors and to our organization has been exceptionally good. Here, the stock is sold immediately and we receive a wire with no input needed. We are not exposed to tax on capital gains because of the instant liquidation.

A little clunky, but effective
Likes: Prompt emails and receipts to donor and recipient. Seamless cash-out/check delivery to the organization. Very responsive customer service when an issue emerged.Dislikes: My desired stock (Berkshire Hathaway BKR-B, an incredibly well-known stock) was not available in the Stock Symbol dropdown menu. That was surprising and made the process more confusing (I had to enter manually). Also, there was an issue with calculating the stock price, and I initially received a receipt for a ~$16 donation rather than a ~$1000 one as desired.Overall, though, I love the option to donate stock even to organizations that don't have an established brokerage account.
