The Beatitudes Project - a real blessing to me
The Beatitudes project has been a wonderful experience for me. It’s given my faith a real lift. My introduction to the project was through the podcasts, which are wonderful conversations between hosts Stu and Brian. The conversations are so inviting to listen to (it feels like sitting in with a couple of old friends) yet also challenging and full of thought provoking insights. I think this is a reflection of the course as a whole: the feeling of being invited in and encouraged to think, yet also being challenged to apply the beatitudes to the way we live. There is a lot of depth to the course, and clearly a lot of time and love has gone into producing all the resources. I love that all the different resources in the course come together and give you time to really focus on a particular area. The idea of putting aside what we think we know, coming with fresh ears, and learning how to stop and truly listen feels so refreshing in the midst of the instant culture that we live in. It's a deep dive into these amazing words of Jesus and how we live them out today, and I highly recommend it.

Beatitudes project
Having followed Stu G's musical output for some time am now excited to have not just songs (brilliant though they are, with the many collaborations) but now a connected project - book - film - study - podcasts ....Much better than the sermons I’ve heard over the years, these give a link between the words of Jesus and people’s lives now. So much to dig into, so much to challenge your thinking, so many songs that just hook into your brain and bring your thoughts back to the sayings and stories time and again. Have no fear sharing this project with your friends, everything is well crafted, they will thank you for it.

The album is beautiful and the podcast…
The album is beautiful and the podcast series is super engaging and challenging - a space to be real and dig deep into the most radical teachings of Jesus.

Beatitudes Project
The book Word From the Hill, the music, the Beatitudes movie, and the podcasts all intertwine to make an incredible experience. Because I work with people with disabilities, I was struck by the truth in some of the chapters which I had never felt like anyone else outside of my profession would understand. The Beatitudes Project hits at the core of loving, respecting, and supporting others as God does for us no matter in what place we all find ourselves.

The Beatitudes Project movie was so…
The Beatitudes Project movie was so powerful! My church, The Crossing in STL, had a special showing of the documentary. I came away in total awe of it. I haven’t read my book yet and listened to the CD on repeat for weeks afterwards! I felt like God nudged me and made sure I went to this event!

I’ve really enjoyed the beatitudes…
I’ve really enjoyed the beatitudes project ever since Stu came to our mens camp a couple years ago in Greer, AZI love the message, and really like Stu’s authentic and heart felt delivery of the beatitudes. The music is so unique and really quite moving, especially after seeing the video of how the collaboration happened.Thank you!

from the cheap seats
I'm not a business leader, not a politician, not a current member of a religious organization, not...the "project" has reminded me that His voice was meant for my ears and the ears of all of us in the cheap seats. I've been reminded how to live "in" the world and to resist responding to the noise "of" the world. having access to the "project" on-demand has helped me silence the noise. the "project" offerings available through, music, reading, video, theology chats, personal reflection, and putting it into action exercises...the "project" reminds me there is a different way to live amidst all the noise and chaos. but that is from just one of the cheap seats on the hill. thanks stu

The course was good
The course was good - though somewhat repetitive from other materials you've created. I'd also think about what you can do to make it more interactive - more lean forward vs. lean back?

Exegesis Toffee
Like any thorough inductive Bible study, The Beatitudes Project doesn't rush through its content. Each topic of the beatitudes passage is exegetically examined. Ten categories each week. This is like chewing toffee. There is no fast food here. The Liturgical reflections that end each session are a welcomed historical practice missing in so many churches today. Love it.

Stu's BEATITUDES study was a…time period of enormous impact upon my life.
Stu's BEATITUDES study was a life-changing understanding of Jesus's words for us. My wife and I were privileged to participate in a community, alongside other believers, experiencing the impact of those "blessings" left for us to embrace. I will never be the same. Alex MacDougall

A Creative and In-Depth Study of the Beatitudes
In all fairness, I must disclose that I've been a huge fan of Stu G's work for a long time and so I bought both his album and documentary right after both were released. When he emailed out asking for reviews I jumped on the opportunity to tell others about the fine work Stu does. So, this is not an unbiased review. :)Nonetheless, I feel that all of the material associated with the Beatitudes Project is rich, thoughtful, and really well made. I am working my way through the weekly study material and find it very engaging. Approaching the Beatitudes from an artistic perspective gives these resources a unique perspective that I think many will find refreshing. Stu has really brought together a diverse group throughout the interviews that bring a full picture to the study, from scholars to artists to normal everyday folks. I have not tried this as a group study and so don't know entirely how well it works in that format but I hope to try to lead it in a group setting soon.Great work Stu!

Poignant, beautiful and provoking journey...
The Beatitudes Project is a poignant, rich, raw and moving "interactive journey". At times the beautiful, raw words and music have provoked me to enter into prayer, helping my own lament and tears rise up to heaven. It is hard and hopeful... attesting to what many of us find as we get older - that joy and pain are intermingled and God is good and beautiful and with us in it all. The Beatitudes are made accessible and relevant through incredible art, music and conversation. Thank you so much for creating this accessible teaching.

My life is forever changed by The View From Here!
The Beatitudes project eCourse has really impacted how I see others in Jesus' eyes. It is a beautiful program that reminds us to look around us and see God in people, circumstances, and in our hearts for Jesus. If we want to transform the world, this is a great place to start, and I highly recommend this program. Would make a great Church program and also a must view for missionary teams. Thank you Stu for opening my eyes to injustice, and demonstrating how to love my neighbor as myself! Blessings, Pamela

This is a beautiful
This is a beautiful, informative, and challenging package of content based upon the Beatitudes. The multi-sensory materials create a depth to Jesus’ words, transporting them from the first century to real-world relevance and application. Stu G and his colleagues have breathed new life into these ancient announcements.
