I sent out a $2,000 valued package with extra insurance. However, the individual turned out to be a scammedr and applied a charged back mid transit. I paid extra for a USPS package intercept which was clearly within the guideline, however, USPS allowed this thief to still sign and take the package....It doesnt end there- I provided all details and proof of value and receipt for a claim to USPS. Well... they denied my claim saying they found no evidence. Well no crap.... you released the package to the thief...I'm not sure who the bigger crook is at the time; USPS or the scammer? Maybe they are one in the same?Be warned.

Package left LA,CA on 2/17 and arrived at Raleigh,NC on 2/21(4 days,2,600 miles) and shows departed Raleigh on 2/21(50 miles from me) now on 2/26 still showing in transit to next facility. Package taking a nice tour of the country
This is not the first time the USPS has taken my package on a tour of the country. This time, my package made it (eventually) from Seattle, WA to Pittsburgh, PA. Pittsburgh is less than a 2-hour drive from the delivery address in Erie, PA. So imagine my confusion when tracking shows the next stop for my package was Cincinnati, OH (more than a 5-hour drive in the opposite direction)! Gee! I wonder why the USPS can’t seem to operate solvently.

Out of the last 5 packages I have ordered that have been shipped through usps all have been late by over a week they have supposedly made it to my state just to be sent multiple states away to have to then return days after they were supposed to be delivered I’ll pay extra not to have another package sent via USPS

This postal service is trash. I been waiting for a package since last week and I’m still haven’t received is on my area but they haven’t delivered and they have my package going back and forward instead of delivered. The customer service don’t help at all. Is a waste of time, energy and money.

This mis‑scan blocks delivery, creates an inaccurate federal record, and forces vulnerable residents to retrieve essential items themselves. I wish I could give these overpaid idiots a minus 10! The service they provide is absolutely horrendous. They raise prices constantly and the service is the slowest most unreliable service ever. I can’t tell you how many packages and pieces of mail they have lost of mind. The latest package is a $200.00 item that they have lost. Fortunately it is insured but you have to wait over a month to ever get reimbursed. This is not acceptable and I wish the government would shut these idiots down! Screw you usps

My overnight packages that come from PA to FL ALWAYS arrive LATE. the past 12 packages in a ROW!!! Each time having to request refunds for shipping. Its incrediably annoying and tedious to keep having to go through this. My amazon packages arrive on time, and so does anything else I order online. Why cant my packages that come from friends and family arrive on time. THank you USPS for making the common person feel unimportant. Common peoples packages MATTER!!! Not just commercial people!!!

For the second time in a month, the USPS messed up big time. I live in upstate NY and ordered a phone off Ebay. It went from Memphis, TN to Syracuse, NY and then USPS sent it back to Memphis. Took a month for me to receive it. Then I ordered keyboards off Ebay and USPS sent it to Syracuse, NY and then back to Texas. The keyboards were supposed to be delivered yesterday. Who knows how long before it gets back to Upstate NY? How can a company screw up that much? Ridiculous.

USPS is the worse group I've ever delt with. You pay for a package to be delivered on a date and these fool can't even do that correctly. The post office in New Syrna Beach is so bad the president should fire all these lazy ass people and hire private contractor to deliver mail.Worst group ever!

Will never use USPS again
I shipped a gift to my mom for Christmas on the 16th of December. I have specified the full address on the customs form while the employee who filled in the details on his computer did not copy all of the address, so the package was returned, so my mom didn’t receive her gifts. Not only it was delivering for way longer than I paid for it was returning for ages and was just bouncing between states. I shipped it on December 16 and received it back on February 23. The items in the package look like they were abused with bows ripped off them (the packaging was open so customs could see the items inside, the bows were glued on the side). I paid $79 for a ruined holiday and horrible service.

I sent a birthday package (jewelry) to the UK and pre-paid the taxes, fees and duties along with the shipping costs. It’s now been a month and it still has not arrived. The message on the USPS tracker is “payment of charges — item being held — collect for pickup” which tells me nothing. The USPS rep at the post office I sent it from was zero help. It’s stuck permanently in postal purgatory. Just another example of our incompetent and corrupt government.

Concerns Regarding International Shipping Delays to Liberia
I am writing to express my concerns regarding the international shipping service to Liberia, West Africa.While USPS provides excellent service within the United States, the international experience—particularly for shipments destined for Liberia—has been extremely disappointing. It appears that packages are handed off to Air Maroc for final delivery, and this may be contributing to significant delays.I shipped a package via USPS Priority Mail International, and it has now been 15 days without delivery. Additionally, the package cannot be tracked beyond a certain point, which has made the situation very stressful.For improved service reliability, I would strongly recommend considering an alternative carrier for the Liberia route, such as Brussels Airlines, which has historically provided more consistent service to the region.Thank you for your attention to this matter. I hope USPS can review and improve its handling of international shipments to Liberia.

I was going to leave a one star rating but, honestly, their commitment to being consistently terrible is actually somewhat impressive. I try to avoid buying from anyone who doesn't have any other shipping options besides USPS, but sometimes... I have no choice. I don't think I've ever had a package delivered on the expected delivery date. Often it's several days late. Almost every time a package starts to get close and I start getting my hopes up that it's finally arriving, it just stops moving for days on end for no apparent reason. It's amazing that Australia's post office can get a package all the way from Australia to Chicago in a couple of days, but then USPS takes over a week (sometimes multiple weeks) to get it from Chicago to Columbus. A 6 hour at most drive by car. Keep in mind this is IF I pay $60 for "express shipping."

International mail conundrum
I live in France and often send mail to the US. It has become a nightmare I can't even begin to describe. Anything that used to be done in the local post office now must be done on the internet, payment by card, accompanied by a customs declaration. All this costs more, not to mention the deterrent effect it has sending anything. The instructions for sending mail are about three pages long and the customs instructions are about the same - approximately 2 hours to figure out how to send a birthday card to the US from Europe. This used to be easy: it now defies the ability of most people. Letters can take two months or be lost. As the restrictions have become more severe, the number of postal employees has diminished.Do not go to FedEX or other private carriers! Insist on better service from the USPS. They are trying to force everyone out by attrition. The post office is in the Constitution!!!!
