horrible thermostat, bad wiring . almost everything is hard wired.

I moved and cannot get Vivint to cancel my service. First, it was 3 months notice so I paid. then I called again because I was on auto pay and they were still taking payment. Again, I called and argued with them as they will not cancel! I finally had to have my cc company reject the payment. I hope this works!
We have been Vivint customers for over 8 years and found Vivint products to be excellent. We have cameras and sensors and they work flawless. The installer was professional, courteous and very knowledgeable.
I’d like to first and foremost, warn everybody not to sign up with Vivint, they are liars. They are scammers and they will put you in.. we had ADT as a security system. A young man named Sam came over and said that they were going to help us pay credit us to pay off ADT so that we can continue paying off Vivint, but he did not tell us that we were gonna have to pay back that $4000 and then pay also Vivint I am not happy with the lies the scams and how they put families in debt watch out, especially for the young man Sam he is a scammer, a liar,
To Executive Customer Relations at Vivint,I am formally escalating a serious safety and service failure related to my recent thermostat installation.The thermostat installed by Vivint was wired incorrectly. When the system failed, I contacted support via chat. I was instructed to try troubleshooting steps and told to wait 5–15 minutes. The representative disconnected the session after only four minutes. The interaction felt dismissive and lacked urgency, despite the severity of the situation.It was 7 degrees outside during a winter storm, and our heat was not functioning because of the improper installation. Due to the incorrect wiring and/or inaccurate troubleshooting guidance, my furnace shorted out and blew a fuse. I was forced to source and replace a fuse after midnight in freezing conditions.I stayed up until 3:00 a.m. researching and correcting the wiring issue myself to restore heat so my family would not be without heat overnight.This situation represents: • Improper installation • Inadequate and prematurely terminated technical support • Equipment damage resulting from incorrect wiring/instructions • A preventable safety risk to my householdNo customer should be placed in a position where they must repair damage caused by installation error during a winter storm to prevent their family from freezing.I am requesting the following: 1. A substantial credit toward the thermostat equipment cost and/or monthly service fees 2. Reimbursement for the fuse and related repair expenses 3. Written confirmation that this incident will be reviewed for installer accountability and support protocol failuresI expect a prompt response from Vivint’s corporate leadership with a clear resolution plan. I would prefer to resolve this directly and professionally; however, I am prepared to pursue additional remedies if necessary.I look forward to your immediate attention to this matter.Sincerely,Jason Wenzlau
The equipment is falling off what’s the point of having service if it’s not alarming the home due to the equipment falling apart … very dissatisfied

Service works well install tech did a bad job
Second phone agent was uninformative. She ran my credit and was able to push through a hard inquiry for 4000$ in equipment without my knowledge. I received an alert from the credit bureau afterwards. This increase my credit usage instantly without knowledge. The first representative had already ran my credit. The second one was not necessary. Consumers are not only customers but patrons and should be informed.
