Rip-off merchants. The receptionist is money grubbing and heartless. Vanya is lovely vet, but that's it.All they do is take take take. It's been over a month since my dog passed and I'm still angry at my treatment.

If I could give no stars then I would. I would never recommend anyone taking their loved ones here. They never have a consistent vet, resulting in different advice and costing you more money. They treated our poorly cat terribly through their negligence. Locum vets are good but they then lie and retract what they have verbally told you to cover themselves.
Took our dog to Wellpets due to bleeding from his penis. They charged us over £200 for urine tests and found nothing. We were still concerned, so we went to another vet—within minutes, they found a cut on his penis, which was the actual issue.When we called to complain, we were completely fobbed off. We also sent multiple emails from different accounts, all of which were ignored. Shocking customer service!If you care about your pet, take them anywhere else. Wellpets is a complete joke—overpriced, unhelpful, and clearly more interested in money than actually diagnosing problems. Avoid at all costs!
Quoted £450 for a routine dog spay small- medium dog. Another local very well recommended vet’s in the same locality quoted £250. Time and time again wellpets ripping people off!
It's taken me some time to write this review as I have nothing but resentment and anger towards this practice.Overlooking the fact that they are charging above and beyond compared to other vets , they just don't care . Reception staff are abrupt and rude with zero compassion.My dog had been with them since puppy and initially they were good we had a lovely vet who went above and beyond and I was very happy. Subsequently that vet left and we were left with another who in my eyes should not be a vet .I took my dog in with clear symptoms of what was in fact the beginning signs of cancer in hes nose , despite not even checking him over properly I kept being fobbed off as if I was an annoying overbearing dog parent and was told it was allergies and to keep him away from grass . My dog who loves everyone did not like this vet at all and hid behind me when she came near him , I was told to leave the room as I was the problem. It was only by the 4th time and I actually got to see and emergency vet that I was actually taken seriously. I Subsequently moved him to another vets who took everything very seriously, but unfortunately it was too late by this stage and despite everyone's great efforts the cancer progressed rapidly. I lost my best friend yesterday. I will never forgive these people for not taking me seriously and for their negligence .
STAY CLEAR of all WELLPETS. Preying on people who need help for their pets in a emergency. No empathy or care for animals what so ever! its all about the money. Vile. I witnessed WellPets in Gillingham Kent refuse to even look at a kitten with her chest ripped open unless a obscene amount of money was paid upfront. The owner who had rescued the kitten begged for them to look at her and begged them to do a payment plan for the obscene amount. The owner of the kitten was told "your pet your responsibility" as she begged for them to help. The owner was registered to PDSA and showed proof of benefits including disability. When the owner cried she did not have the whole amount to give them so what option was there the receptionist replied "well we can take it and put it to sleep or pay the money. They had not even looked at the poor kitten. The owner left sobbing with the kitten. Disgusting company! Absolutely vile
brought my dog here on the 9th jan has she kept vomiting.. we saw the vet called paul who gave her anti sickness jab along with blood tests.. he examined her and said he thinks it could be acute pancreatus.. he rung the sittingbourne branch to get her a xray which they REFUSED her due to being busy. he then said leave her with me and ill call you.. i left my dog comfortable with no heavy breathing even though she was being sick.. i got a call 3 hours later asking for me to come back.. well when i arrived i could hear my dog panting very fast. she looked very distressed he talked me through her bloods which there was high white cells which to my discretion means inflammation or infection but still he hadnt given her antibiotics nor oxygen or pain meds he then said i need to get her to a emergency vet which was based in basildon has no one else would take her which is absolutely disgusting. paul was happy to refer her and he made it clear to me my dog would need 24 hour care and make a full recovery.. i then drove her to basildon and within a hour she went into cardiac arrest.. she was actually struggling with aspiration pnuemonia .her body score was 5 she had carbon monoxide in her blood due to a block in her airways which all went unoticed by this vet but apparently paul was happy to discharge her and she was in a stable condition!!!!it had got so bad during the day when she was at wellpets sheerness her poor body couldn’t survive.. if sittingbourne had taken her for xrays around 2pm she might of been here now.. she would of gained 5-6 hours of care if xrays had been done. i was told acute pancreatus but no antibiotics was given.. ive made a formal complaint to the practice manager who totally disregarded what ive said . when its very clear to see its there fault. ive now asked more questions to the practice manager to be ignored.. they have a big shock if they think ill be leaving this.. ive lost my beloved dog due to there neglect. im gonna make sure these people pay… also when i at to leave my dog with them they wouldn’t let me leave without paying when they could see how upset i was . i left my £8000 dog in there care i was made to feel i was gonna leave her these people are vile.. don’t bother emailing practise manager has she aint interested.. ive seeked legal advice and im gonna make sure these people loose there jobs. its all about money with these people and they clearly dont no there job.please dont trust these people with your beloved pets. STAY AWAY

Wellpets Sittingbourne DO NOT USE THESE INDIVIDUALS THEY ARE CON ARTISTS so I took my dog to the groomer in the same building as the vets when the lady brought out my dog she said he had fleas but because he was shaved they would have probably gone so the problem was I had my other dog in my car so I asked the receptionist if I could buy some sort of spray to use in my car so she gave me a spray and charged me £28 so I took the spray and didn’t use it because I had to drop my dogs off first so on my way home I went into pets are us and they were selling the same spray for £14 pounds so i purchased two more sprays I then returned to the vets and told them the situation and that they charged me double for the same spray and wanted to return the unopened spay with this the four staff members couldn’t make a decision between them and told me I couldn’t have a refund even though I returned the spray back to them unopened and within 15 minutes of the purchase your disgusting fraudulent company you don’t care about peoples animals it’s about the money for your company you should be closed down how many people have you ripped off before quite a lot I suppose
Found a lump on the side of my furbaby's face, took him to Wellpets Sheerness, after 5 mins with my furbaby, the vet brought him back to us outside and told us he need a £800 operation to remove it "just in case it spreads to the gum". Really shocked that no xray was offered nothing, just an expensive evasive op. My furbaby was 8. The next day the lump had gone down, it turned out to be a bee/wasp sting. I really wasn't impressed and spoke to one of the lovely female nurses who took my complaint seriously but nothing else was done. On another dealing with Welloets but the Minster site, I spoke to a male nurse who was very rude, needed more training on customer training or just have a job that does not involve customer contact. I have now cancelled our pet plan with them and will be taking the care of my furbaby to another vets.
Absolutely disgusting woman I spoke to on the phone at Sittingbourne. all she cares about is getting money out of people. They don’t care about the animals at all! my cat has cat flu 100%. I’m giving him antibiotics and painkillers and feeding him by hand and giving him fluids. I called to ask what more can they do that I’m already doing?! (((If I got an answer that they could do more I would take him in))) but she just said about a phone consultation for £42, then bloods etc! Money money money!!! I just want to know what more can they do for catflu!!!!! I didn’t wanna take him there for them to charge me for consultation charge me for bloods then say to put him down !!!!! waste of money! if they can do more to help and tell me what they can do for catflu I’d take him in, but instead she just put the phone down on me!!!!! Vile woman! Sounds like an older woman. It’s a simple question, why can’t they just say yes, for catflu we can do this and this and this, then I’d be very happy to take him in and pay whatever it costs, bloods consultations the lot! Anything to save my fur baby. I don’t want to take him there for nothing if they can’t help!!! Can’t believe I can’t be giving a simple answer to a simple question!!!!! I don’t drive so I’d have to find a way to get there, I have kids I’d have to sort out, I’d have to get a loan. just wanted answer. But got hung up on instead!!! An I’m registered with this scum vets!!! I’m finding another vets after this!!!!!!!!!!!
This time last year my 2 kittens went in for an operation (spaying) 1 was glued back together and one was sewed. I do not know why they weren’t operated by the same vet coming from the same household. Charlotte was sent home with no cone, Mo (stitched) was. There was no advice given when they went home, just to come back for their check up. The next day the nurse visited the home to try a jacket on Mo (stitched one) as she wasn’t getting along with her collar and noticed her tummy swollen, she said to keep an eye on it as it’s unusually swollen. Mo flung herself around which was not nice so decided to just stick with the collar. A few days after their check up Mo was even more swollen, the day after check up her wound started to open, I must say here if taken a week off work to keep an eye on them and even slept downstairs with them) I took her straight in, the vet was tired again, and took the stitches out and glued her back together (massive mistake in my eyes!) the wound was weeping but apparently that was ok, the next day I popped out in the morning for an hour to come home to her insides hanging out, to cut a long story short they couldn’ t save her, it was a horrific ending for her and I will never forget it, no changes at the vets have been made just a ‘sorry’ no compensation and they lied in their notes blaming me for not keeping her collar on, utter crock.Should have been operated the same Should have both had a collar Strict instructions to keep them contained in a small area Should NOT have had stitches removed without fully investigating why it was opening all this time after.RCVS are part of wellpets and deemed it a non arguable case and welllpets would not mediate via the VCMS.There was no remorse just arguing their side (a whole practise against one person) lied and over eggagerated the truth.I have been honest here and I would not recommend these vets at all.The year before they turned my cat away who had classic signs of heart disease, panting, kept lying down etc, at the weekend she could hardly breathe so rushed her in, she then was rushed to emergency vet with fluid on the lungs! Emergency vet managed to give her 9 more months, wellpets missed an obvious illness presented to them. All I ever wanted was some sincere apology, a change in protocol like other vets have in place, a review of how they do things, and compensation from a huge emergency vet bill!!!! It’s left a sour taste in my mouth and I will never stop in recommending them!
