proceed with caution

I cannot comment on the service as I did not make it that far.I forgot my ID and was denied service and was expected to pay 50% of the treatment service to rebook.I would proceed with caution as negative reviews are deleted on google (another client faced similar issue and left feedback however the next day comment was removed)Instagram is somewhat deceiving as they look like they have a lot of followers ect however when you click post to view engagement ect their posts gain traction of 10-20 likes which doesn't make sense if you have 24.2k followersI was refused a refund as it was at that point I felt there was a lack of understanding for their customers and I felt the situation could have been handled better. As a company I don't not feel they put as much emphasis as they should on customer retention. They deceive and trick new customers into believing their brand one of the best for the black demographic. A lot better dermatologist out there for a fraction of the price.

Please do your due diligence and always compare other companies and treatments first.

I really like to support small businesses especially if they cater for varied skin tones but I found this company to be a great disappointment. While they may have treatment plans that have some positive effect; customer service does not appear to be the heart of what they do.Please choose wisely before using this company. They’re not the only skin clinic out there. Just because they advertise predominantly to particular skin tones it doesn’t mean they’re any betterAnd because they advertise predominantly to deeper skin tones, many will flock to them thinking the service will be better tailored to them and that’s not necessarily true. It feels very exploitative of a demographic who are searching for a clinic to treat their issues appropriately. There’s no apparent focus towards client retention. They have constant flash sales advertised via social media to encourage new sales (which is understandable) however, with so much focus on gaining income/recruiting customers, you’d hope there’d be the same energy for existing clients. It comes across as though income is their highest priority rather than building customer relationships. They have very stringent rules around attendance and unreasonable expectations when it comes to lateness- very inflexible to unforeseen circumstances such as train cancellations etc and in order to rebook you have to pay an extra £200.I have no issues with being strict on time keeping or paying a late fee but such exorbitant prices seem quite extreme. And their service doesn’t make you feel welcome so one questions why the rules are so stringent when the ambience is subpar.Clinicians provide very generic statements about the treatment as though the high end façade they promote is to compensate for their deficiencies in other areas such as knowledge and customer service. They have an exceptionally long contract (which I found very unusual) This is a company that makes sure they retain money at all costs. The contract ensures that once paid, your money is locked in (NO REFUNDS). So please read it thoroughly and be SURE you want the treatment. One could forgive the poor customer service, unnecessarily high charges and unfriendly atmosphere if the product was as effective as advertised. You can achieve equal/better results using recommended products from any other London clinic at less than 50% of the cost. It's a shame but I can't see myself ever booking with them again. Do your due diligence and always compare other companies and treatments first.

5 star aesthetic spa

I just wanted to say that it was our first time coming to YLB and from the beginning it was a lovely experience. Our Esthetician Aisha was friendly, very experienced and she made us feel welcomed. It is rare to find an aesthetic spa that caters for black skin. We felt in safe hands and we have booked more sessions and will continue to do so ❤❤❤
