Flowers Not Delivered For Memorial Service
The flowers I ordered for a memorial service never arrived. I called 1-800-flowers the day before the service to confirm the flowers would be delivered and they guaranteed it would be. I find out 10 minutes before the service that the local florist can not be reached and delivery will not be made. I will never use this service for important events again. Unreliable!!

I’m sorry this is long winded. You can’t make this stuff up! Honestly, if I could give them a 0, I would without hesitation! I ordered an arrangement for my mother in advance of her birthday. It was supposed to be delivered on 6/17/25. Instead, I received an email from 1800 flowers on 6/17/25, in the early afternoon, advising the delivery failed. I called customer service. They advised the florist does not have that arrangement available. They apologized and said, for whatever reason, the order never reached the florist when it was supposed to. The florist came in to find a same day style order for an arrangement that was not available. Customer service offered to call my mother and apologize for the error. I declined because, in all honesty, it was ridiculous! They put me on hold & called the florist to try ordering a different gift that was similar in value that they can deliver same day. The florist said it was also not available and that they would not be able to deliver anything that day. Customer service then offered to find an arrangement, that is available, and have it delivered on 6/18/25. They “PROMISED ME” delivery for 6/18/25. Today is June 18, 2025. Customer service called me at 9:37 AM and left me a voicemail requesting I call them. I felt confident they would be informing me the arrangement has been delivered. Instead, they tell me, once again, the arrangement CANNOT BE DELIVERED!!! Once again, the florist does not have the flowers required for the arrangement in stock. “What happened to checking with the florist to make sure it was available? What happened to the follow-through? I’m thinking, “ARE YOU KIDDING ME???? This can’t really be happening.” They can tell over the phone that I am defeated….I give up! The customer service rep then reminds me I was refunded the delivery charge and that a credit was placed on my account for a future arrangement due to the issues with this order. “What are they trying to say by reminding me of that? Are they trying to say it’s OK that they failed to deliver 2 days in a row because they refunded me a measly $17 of the $105 I spent?” As politely as I could, I told the representative the credit is worthless to me as this is the last order I will ever place with 1800 flowers. He stated that he understood my frustration, and once again promised me that tomorrow, June 19, 2025, FOR SURE, the arrangement will be delivered. Honestly, the entire order should be refunded and they should still be forced to deliver at this point. THEY REFUSED! I was welcome to cancel entirely for a refund or accept extremely late delivery under the terms outlined. This complete lack of customer service is absolutely disgusting! 1800flowers…..GOOD RIDDANCE!!!!! I WILL NEVER USE YOUR SERVICE AGAIN! FOR SURE, REALLY - I PROMISE!! You can take that to the bank!

Absolutely horrible customer service
Absolutely horrible customer service. I have bought from them in the past but will never do it again. I was trying to order flowers for Mother's Day and after asking me for my Pin to my computer for faster checkout I bailed and tried to cancel the order. They kept me dangling in chat for 30 minutes while "they reviewed the issue". Finally got out of chat and cancelled the order through the bot. What a joke of a company. I decided to call a florist in the city that my Mom lives in and ordered that way. MUCH cheaper & easier. ZERO stars if I could.

Another Disappointing Experience with 800Flowers
Zero stars isn’t an option, unfortunately. Many times, I’ve been disappointed with the delivery issues and, for the convenience, I’ve been loyal to them. However, today, for an order I placed days ago, to be delivered today, they called and said no florist in my area had flowers to deliver before Tuesday…and I would need to pay an additional fee for Fed-Ex to deliver them on that day. (These flowers are for a birthday that’s tomorrow!) The order was cancelled. I went online and found several shops, in my area, on a Saturday morning, that were willing to deliver an arrangement today. All taken care of in less than 10 minutes…that’s convenience that I can get onboard with!

If I could, I would put a zero stars. We placed an order for our daughter on 02/14, Valentine's Day. However, on 02/14, at 5 AM, we received an automatic email saying they had made several attempts to deliver the flowers. (5 IN THE MORNING). My husband contacted customer service and was assured that the flowers would be delivered by 8 PM. The order was not delivered. At 9 PM, during another call to customer service, the representative offered a refund. No one took responsibility.

Peonies Didn't Open They Rotted!
Ordered a peony bouquet. The buds did not open as promised, and in 3 days they just turned brown. The best they offered was a partial refund and a discount on a future purchase. There will not be a future purchase. PATRONIZE YOUR LOCAL FLORIST!

My friend ordered me flowers for…worse day of my life
My friend ordered me flowers for Valentines Day, from 1800 flowers. The flowers that I received were dead flowers, the leaves were falling off and all the flowers were wilted. Honestly I cried they were so disgusting I couldn’t help but brake down. When I called to complain. The gentleman said that they would replace them 3 days later and not even the next day. Please don’t order from them. The bouquets that you received are nothing like what you see online 😭

I paid well over $150 for my order for me to call this morning (2/14) and they said my order was deleted this is aweful and heart-breaking as I wanted to give my sweet heart a special gift due to me living 5 hours away. csr explained it is nothing they can do. thanks a whole lot for nothing. then I was hold and hung up on.🤢🤢🤢🤢

OK, but not what I paid for
I ordered the Enchanted Rose Medley, 36 Stems w/Red Swirl Vase, Product Number 192246MRDSV1, for $120.08. The vase and delivery date were good. Unfortunately, the leaves and petals started falling off as soon as the box was opened. The flowers have been here less than a day and more petals and flowers are falling off, I doubt it will last 2 days.

Why 800 Flowers are dead Flowers to me!
Let's start with the date my gift basket was supposed to arrive changed after I placed the order on Jan 24th. My friend just had a baby and had family in town. I sent the baby food basket thing for the family to have fun with. Well day 1,2,3,4 still no basket then family leaves, so I call to cancel after spending a hour with chatting just to be told it's there sister company I need to chat with them and they will cancel it. I chat with them and I'm told it will be canceled but nope, they lie and it just shipped a day ago to basically no one. Not only did they not hit the day they promised when I made the purchase but they then missed the fake date of the 3rd they had. I think it's funny they print the fedex label day 1 to make you think it's going and you presume everything is all set. This is disappointing, I told my friend it was on the way. After telling him what happened he said he's not surprised by this. They once sent him flowers in pieces. One more little thing, there is an option to have the transcript emailed to you, I requested both be sent because the fact I was told it would be canceled was in there and sure enough it was never emailed. Oh and no confirmation or receipt was sent even when I asked for it. I was either purposely lied to or they are just incompetent because they are so big. Order from them if you have a window of 30 days. But ultimately this is my fault, I should have personally put something together myself. 800 Flowers how archaic, done still call 800 numbers? I won't and will forever remind everyone I know, family, friends, congregation do not ever use this place, unless of course you have a month to spare and a couple of hours to waste looking for it. Oh I almost forgot I wrote the cutest poem to the little guy that just joined us on earth and it doesn't appear that even shippe. Attached is the poem.. Enjoy! I wish I could leave a -10 for a rating, that's a fair number considering that's how many days it shipped late.

Not delivered flowers
I ordered a flower cross for a funeral, eight days before the funeral. Delivery date was confirmed. I called day of delivery 3 times. 1st time the item is on the truck 2nd time it is delayed 3rd time it is coming in the morning. In the morning they informed me that the order can not be filled. The associate told me we refund your money.

Very dissatisfied for an order sent to someone out of state using this on-line company. It was supposed to be a snowman planter with a live plant. The snowman came in pieces and had to be assembled by the recipient. A very poor presentation. This is the second time I have been very dissatisfied with something that I have ordered from 1800Flowers. I will never use them again.

Their program put 2 different items in my cart when I'd only selected one. Then the order 'stalled' at the Review screen, even though the payment had already been processed TWICE. When I (in Canada, using the .ca site) called about the errors, the call centre (in the US) promised a refund but there was a discrepancy in the amount. I asked what currency was being cited and was told "English".

Terrible - don't trust them to deliver anything
Terrible. Do NOT buy from them. I had ordered something MONTHS in advance. They called the day before saying they couldn't deliver. Then they said it would be delivered, and the website showed that it would be delivered. The day of, I called at 5 pm, asking whether it would be delivered. They said it would, then in the same phone call said it wouldn't. DONT trust them.

My husband sent me the Daydream bouquet XL. What I received had approximately the same amount of flowers that are in the medium size, and had more greens in it than flowers. Looks nothing like the visual given online. This is not the first time this has happened. I have asked him to never purchase flowers from them again.

To Use 1800 or Not To Use 1800
Two years ago I sent flowers to my mother and mother in law, my mother's were beautiful, my mother in law's were horrible and wilted. They did send a fresh bouquet the next day. Six months ago I sent my mother a plant, she loved it, and still has it. Last week I ordered my brother's birthday plant to be delivered as a surprise. I called him at 8 pm, never received. I did not get one phone call from 1800Flowers to tell me it wasn't available and to give me an option of sending something else. I was on hold this morning, October 2, 2024 for 2 hours on two separate occasions. Finally got through. They said we can send him a rose bouquet on Friday. That won't work. So they are sending him mixed roses in a little container, which looks like there is a little pickett fence around the arrangement that he can transplant to his garden, by tomorrow. So I called him, now ruining the surprise because I will need to know if he will even receive it. As usual, I could hear a smile in his voice and he said it was the thought that counts. 1800Flowers says they will give me a $67 credit for my next order, an email I have not received, but did get an email offering me 20%off of my next order. My sister's birthday is coming up. What should I do?

Crappy Arrangement Sent to My Grieving Family
On August 13th I ordered a beautiful arrangement cost $99.99 plus service charge and tax=$113.77. There was no delivery fee because I had signed up as a member to get free delivery for a year. The arrangement was to be delivered to the home of a loved one who had past and was now in the viewing stage.The arrangement was delivered on time, August 14th, but the arrangement that was delivered had almost no resemblance to what was ordered. It had nine white roses as opposed to the 15 or 16 that was in the picture, and overall, it was less than half the size of what was shown. Instead of pretty violet fillers, it was filled out with mostly green and white leaves. I was disappointed and furious, because I really wanted the arrangement to be special, as special as the one that was shown, and that I had paid a hundred dollars for.I called 1-800FLOWERS and the person on the other end was polite and wanted to fix things by having the florist send a new arrangement. I kept telling him that the family was at a wake and sending another arrangement would be tacky. He then wanted to call them to apologize, which was also tacky, and once again I had to keep telling him that there was a wake in progress. He kept trying everything to get me to back down from referring to the arrangement as a complete rip-off. It took almost 30 minutes of him consulting back and forth with his superiors, before he said that they would refund me $56.99, (half of what I paid) to which I agreed. The rep that I was handling my case was fine, but the florist who made up and sent out that inferior arrangement should be retrained.I will try to find another company, because this is the 3rd time that 1800-FLOWERS' florists have embarrassed me with cheap substitutes of what I ordered.

Extremely disappointed
I ordered flowers for my wife’s birthday with a specific delivery date…..her birthday. Flowers were delivered 24 hours early and left on the front porch. I can say that my first and LAST experience with 800 flowers was terrible and I would encourage anyone needing flowers to buy from your local florist and not a faceless website!
