I really wanted to like this company…
3rd update: They refunded the money and said more information would come and never did. They never apologized that they have no one answering their emails. A24 just feels like they are too important to have to care about consumers. This will be their downfall as consumers catch on fast and will just move on to other independent film companies. If you buy from them and have an issue, do not expect they will respond to the only way to reach them, in an email. 2nd update: It took me writing to one of their original founders / COO as well as their CEO before they would respond. When they responded they just said we are refunding you your money and said details would come later. It is sad to me that companies today put you through all of this just to get them to respond. I verified and they have a refund pending in my account. Update: I found a number in NYC for A24. The employee that answered asked what the issue was and while I was speaking he cut me off. I called back and said "you cut me off". He said "what is your name". I told him and he said someone will get back to me. I said "they don't have my contact information" and he cut me off again. If you need them for anything, they wont respond to the email, which is the only way to reach them. The number listed for them online gets you a very rude male that will just cut you off if it is regarding their online sales. Then they block your number leaving you with no way of reaching them at all. I buy a lot of films and this company is absolutely horrible. How they stay in business is a mystery to me. I really wanted to like this company and even joined their membership that is over $10 per month. I ordered just over $200 in films on 2/11/2025 and still have not received anything for shipping on these films. I wrote to them this morning and shared feedback, but I have read that it is difficult to get anyone to respond from A24. Other companies like Kino Lorber, Barnes and Noble and some smaller companies are fast at shipping and do have customer service teams that respond if something goes wrong. I sent them a 2nd email today and shared that I will be closing my membership and not buying from them again after this order arrives if it ever does. I spend a lot every week on films, so I think they are making a mistake to take their customers for granted.
