No One Home Here
I wanted to learn when an out of stock blanket shown on their site would be back in stock. I called and left multiple voicemails, sent two emails and went into chat twice and in the course of a week I have yet to receive a glimmer of a response from any of these efforts. Unfortunately I ordered a sheet from them and having read their return policy too late, I learned that only if they determine an item is defective will they issue a refund-no choices for "do not like" or "not as described". Their factory phone number is the same as their retail store so I am really puzzled by their silence and can only guess that they are going out of business. I can also guess that if I don't like my sheet I will be dealing with my bank for a refund. This is such poor practice for a long-respected Massachusetts company and as a native Bostonian I am very disappointed. UPDATE: I did receive a full refund from my bank and have yet to hear a peep from American Blanket. Stay away.
