Spent $2,500 on the grill, the burners have never worked correctly. I’ve had email correspondence with the manufacturer and they have basically just continued to say I need to take it apart and clean it.....even though it has never worked. Do not buy from this company.
Bought a 3 burner AOG. Utter disappointment. Either doesn't get hot enough or causes flareups that turn into a firestorm. Hard to clean. Have a Home Depot Weber at my vacation place that cost less than 1/5th of this piece of junk that cooks fast and never flares up. AOG not recommended. Avoid!
Very poor delivery time. Placed an order for AOG grill replacement parts on 9/17/20. Finally received the shipment on 10/30/20. Worst part is I only received 1 of the 2 parts that I ordered but according to their website both items were shipped in the same box. Now I will have to hassle with them for refund for missing item.
Initial quality is good but one of the spark generators failed in the second season of use and when I opted to replace both generators this spring I discovered a poorly done “ factory repair” on one of the unit’s generator plugs. This plug came apart when simply unplugging unit. Combined with no extra slack for ignition wires, it makes correction of issues a real pain. Not happy having to spend additional time and money correcting an issue that should not have been my problem in the first place.
Great grill! I have had 2 burners burn out and contacted the business I purchased the grill from and I was sent new burners from the manufacturer within a few days. Excellent customer service.

Excellent source for AOG parts for your grill if you are a Do-It-Yourself person. Prices are reasonable and service is rapid as long as part is in stock. Stock status is available.

Web site was very intuitive for parts selection and ordering process. I received the replacement parts in five days and was able to repair my built in grill quickly with no headaches thanks to American Outdoor Grill Shop.
Spent $3,000 on an AOG with accessories and emailed them one question, but never heard back from them!

solid grill, not too happy re: ignition feature, no battery but it works ,takes a long time to heat up over 800, maybe i'm just too old school. easy to set up. rear burner excellent, side burner, don't use it that much but is fine. needed to call company once, i don't know why, talked to a very nice person helped me and gave some tips, good conversation. so customer support should be better than average. expensive but worth it. it would be nice if they were to supply a "recipe, tips" brochure. highly recommend aog.
I was very happy with the service Dept. I replaced a built in & new one fit perfectly.
I did business with this company to purchase a replacement manifold for my grill. The first manifold arrived but it was the wrong part. I had several emails to correct, they acknowledged that they sent me the incorrect one and sent a replacement.... which unfortunately was the same incorrect part. I sent an email and for weeks they never responded.... I also called and emailed officers of the company... with no response.Finally, I noticed they were an Amazon seller and filed a complaint.... and the correct part came in a week....interestingly with never a response.
