The program is well structured and it…

The program is well structured and it is definitely worth it for students looking to break into IB. Todd was extremely helpful and insightful all throughout the process and provided great tools and resources. This is particularly great for first year students to secure an internship in IB.

Go to if you are looking to get into IB/S&T

This program was incredible and Todd was very helpful. The program goes thorugh many of the basic modeling skills that are essential to any entry level IB job. This program single handedly helped me to get an IB internship which eventually led to me getting a full time S&T position at JP Morgan. I would highly recommend.

Best Decision I Made In 2020

I was cautious about joining this program but looking back it was one of the best decisions I have made for my professional career. The Invest Like The Street Analyst Program was well worth both the time and money. This program breaks the industry down to basics to help build up a strong understanding about the whole investment analytical process. With the consistent help and communication between Todd Massedge and myself, the program gave me the knowledge, skills, and confidence that was needed to get my foot in the door of the finance industry. For someone like myself who did not go to a target school, a program like this was exactly what I needed and actually turned out to be a strong talking point in interviews. I highly recommend this program.

Necessary to Break Into IB!

I highly recommend the ILTS program for many reasons, especially if you are from a non-target and lack relevant IB experience.I am a graduate from a non-target, so getting an IB internship was very difficult for me, in fact, I never got one. The summer as a rising senior, I accepted a Commercial Real Estate Lending Internship as I wasn't able to land an IB internship. In order to put some relevant experience on my experience, I enrolled in the ILTS course that I completed at night after my internship during the day. Up until this point, I wasn't hearing back from any firms regarding IB interviews.COVID threw recruiting for a loop as I was sitting for interviews in March that inevitably were terminated. I was able to land an IB internship with a boutique Tech-focused M&A shop in Boston, that I recently converted into a FT Analyst offer at a middle-market as a Technology Investment Banking Analyst. I was able to land the initial interview for the internship as the firm was very impressed with my eagerness to learn and do anything possible to get into IB, by enrolling in the ILTS course. If it wasn't for this course and Todd's continued support, I would've never landed the internship or the FT offer!

Highly recommend for those needing that 'edge'

The ILTS program was a huge help when it came to landing my IB internship. Especially since I was coming from a non-target school, having it in my resume definitely brought up a good deal of interest in interviews. Highly recommend for anyone looking to get a bit of an edge and for those that need help learning the technicals for the job. Todd was super helpful when it came to answering questions and more specifically helping me formulate a story for interviews and prep in general.

I do regret paying this fee

I do regret paying this fee. Yes, this information was helpful but it I don't think it is worth it. Also the interview process was sketchy. "Todd" the founder is suppose to do interviews and then on the day of the interview. I got a message that they are "running late" and will need to do a recording on my own. Should have saw that as a red flag and saved myself $1,000 :(

Accessible, Engaging Material & Invaluable Mentor

While this course is not as well known as something like Wall Street Prep. ILTS is the definitive option for a financial modelling course. Unlike other courses, Todd makes himself available for any questions throughout the material. The material builds upon itself in a manner that is accessible and straightforward. In addition to the modelling aspects of the course, Todd's networking suggestions were invaluable. I found this particular aspect of ILTS to be the differentiator. Todd helped me develop pointed networking questions to use during my various calls. After completing some coursework, I also had significant financial acumen to leverage whilst speaking with finance professionals. While working on the course, I was able to secure a full-time banking offer. I attribute my success in this endeavor to the skills and knowledge I gleaned from Todd's course. Enroll with great confidence! You will be happy you did!

Completed this program with some…investment management experience.

Completed this program with some investment management experience, wanted to improve and advance my career. I didn't know exactly what to expect when signing up. I have completed a few other investing / excel courses before, and they were just ok. I can honestly say that I gained a lot of new knowledge and gained a more advanced understanding of modeling and investing in general, apart from the numbers. Todd does an excellent job of coaching and providing feedback. He is always there if needed. I thought the course was excellent and different from the others, in that it provides you with not only advanced modeling and finance knowledge, but investment philosophy and how to think about investing and the markets. Which I think is just as important. The course it self is very comprehensive, and there is a lot of material you learn. If you are in school this course will give you everything you need to gain the knowledge for an internship or job in finance and banking. If you are out of school, there is definitely material in here to advance your knowledge. I think the career side of the course is not well known. Todd has some very unique ways of finding roles, networking and eventually getting roles; that actually work. The course price, in my opinion is worth its value just for these techniques you learn. Overall I think this is one of the best courses available to learn investing and modeling or advance you knowledge.

More Than a Modeling Course!

The Invest Like The Street Program was probably the best investment I made thus far in my college career. Aside from the great introduction to finance and investing that the program offered me, my assigned mentor and creator of the program, Todd Massedge, has kept in touch with me long after completing the program. Having Todd as a resource to address my various concerns as I went through internship recruiting was extremely helpful! I am grateful for the help this program gave me and I am glad to be able to say that I will be joining Morgan Stanley in their 2020 Wealth Management Summer Analyst Program!

decent content, poor coach

This course has the right content for learning the basics of financial evaluation, but Todd is unprofessional and lacks the proper etiquette for a service that is this expensive. I was thoroughly disappointed with him frequently. He once used “lol” as a response to a question I was struggling with. Not a good course.

Highly Recommended

The Invest Like the Street Analyst Program was crucial in helping me break into investment banking by landing a summer analyst position. The program helped me land interviews by teaching me how to network while also serving as a strong resume line. My interviewers were interested in the work I did during the program, and impressed by the technical knowledge I was able to demonstrate because of it. I recommend the program to anyone interested in pursuing a career in investment banking.

The Invest Like The Street Analyst…

The Invest Like The Street Analyst program was exactly what I was looking for when trying to improve my financial analysis, as well as my modelling skills. The program is well-structured and covers many fundamental financial topics. What I found particularly valuable was the personal feedback from Todd, who corrected each of my worksheets. Another feature of the course I value positive is that it explains the concepts in a comprehensive and informal (in a sense that is it different from common university approach), but still exhaustive manner. After having successfully completed the program, I was able to tackle the technical questions I was asked at an interview for an investment banking internship. I was eventually able to get the internship and hence am really thankful for the great teaching. Recommend to everyone who wants to get first insights on financial modelling.

Is it a scam? Yes and no

ILTS functions more like a good learning experience than a big resume booster. I think it's important to establish that, because the course is not cheap and you should be aware of what you are paying for. After my sophomore year at college, I went to a good (but not great) college with a 3.3 GPA. I had little finance experience under my belt, and felt screwed for the internship search for the upcoming Summer. When I saw the ad for this program, it felt like all my problems would soon be gone, with a track record of placing "nontarget low GPA students" in IB and other exclusive internships. There were some misconceptions but also some very positive things to come from doing ILTS, so I will list them as pros and cons.PROS:- A great in-depth learning experience with actual tutoring. Todd will work one on one with you to explain and walk through the concepts and processes you are learning.- Experience building your own model will serve well LONGTERM. Having never built a financial before this course, when I was asked to build one for a class/internship I felt prepared.CONS:-Not as impressive to employers as I had hoped. When I was finished with the course, I put it at the top of my resume. My resume still got no attention (even after securing a spring internship as an equity analyst) and my career advisor even recommended I just list it as an "activity." By the time I graduate, it won't even still be on my resume. Even in the interviews I got, I was never really asked about ILTS program.- If you're already a finance major, you won't be learning much new. While the course does provide some solid practical insight that you could apply to an internship, its really much of the same fundamental info you learn from classes.- Took much longer than 47 hours. I studied abroad the semester I took this course, so I had a lot of free time and it wasn't an issue. But if it was a regular semester, I would not have found the time to complete it.Overall, the course definitely increased my knowledge of the financial world and sharpen my skills in modeling, accounting, research, ect. And if you are willing to pay for the extra review, its a great investment for your own education. However, the course is very time consuming, and you are better off using that time to bring up your GPA than you would be taking this $1,000 course.

If you are considering a career in Investment Banking, the ILTS Program is an essential starting point.

If you are considering a career in Investment Banking but you’re not sure where to begin, continue reading. Looking at my own background, I had no Finance-based experience, just a degree in Business & Accounting to show to employers, I was at an immediate disadvantage to those who went to target schools. Employers want to see previous experience, proof you can do the job and a relevant degree. This course will give you the knowledge and tools you need to get started in Investment Banking. Between the quality of the notes, lectures, assignment feedback and networking/job search tips, you will be a prime candidate for a role in Investment Banking and you will stand out among the other 99% of candidates with no experience. The mentorship and advice you receive through the four-tier course is invaluable. This could be the best investment into your career you will make to get you on the Investment Banking ladder. This has been both a difficult but very rewarding course and hands down the best investment I have made to date, in a very competitive field, you need every advantage you can get.

DONT LISTEN TO THE OTHER REVIEWS

Every single review comes from someone with only one review, and they're all from either the same exact date or within a few days of all the others. I don't have any experience with the program, but do NOT take the word of these reviews here. They are most certainly bought.

Invest Like the Street Program

The Invest Like the Street Program gave me the experience and knowledge necessary to break into investment banking after graduation. As a senior with no banking internships and an average GPA, I knew the odds were stacked against me. After going through this program I was more than prepared to flaunt my financial acumen in my interviews and was fortunate enough to land a position at a boutique firm! You will get out what you put into this program, as Todd provides all of the tools and mentorship to ensure you truly get a grasp of what a Wall Street analyst needs to land that coveted position.

Great Program

The work I did with the Invest Like the Street Program was very useful in my interviews. My interviewers were very impressed with the knowledge I had as a result of the program, and I truly believe it set me apart from others and ultimately led to me receiving a job offer for a front office internship. Todd would always give great feedback on the assignments and was also willing to mentor and give career advice. I would highly recommend this program to anyone interested in finance who wants to separate themselves in interviews.

ILTS Review

Great experience. ILTS ignited my passion to learn about investing and gave me a superior edge in the investment banking recruiting process. Todd was a crucial factor in my initial networking phase both for my sophomore and junior summer. He taught me very efficient ways to network that drastically increased my replies from bankers in cold emails, calls, LinkedIn messages, etc... He also did a great job of critiquing my resume and prepping for interviews. Highly recommend to anyone trying to break into IB.

It's not just like any Udemy course

Todd was my mentor and he did a pretty phenomenal job. It’s not just like any Udemy course. You have a mentor to help you every step of the way and give you more personal and insightful feedback. The way they set it up into a hands-on internship facilitated my ability to garner the information better. Because this program was more of an internship, I actually got to put this at the top of my resume. Todd was also always there if you needed him. He helped me fix up my resume a couple times for some upcoming applications and interviews and his videos on networking are pretty great.

The Invest Like the Street Analyst Program Review

The Invest Like the Street Analyst Program is a valuable tool for anyone that is looking to work in Investment Banking. I gained hands on experience through this course that I was able to speak about in my interviews. Todd was readily available for any questions that I had while working on the material and spent one on one time helping prepare for interviews. This program is one of the primary reasons I was able to land an Investment Banking internship for this upcoming summer.
