Booked under my short name MATT but diving licence was my full name MATTHEW.all they had to do was change the name on the contract...were they available to help....NOAs such lost car and all money!

Hired a car through them then decided i needed to collect it an hour later. Cancelled booking and it then booked again through holidayautos.co.uk. Paid the agreed fee on anguscarhire (these 2 sites seem to be related) then on the day they wanted another £190 so paid twice the advertised amount. Avoid using them, I complained and they refused to return any money.

Worst car hire company ever
Worst car hire company ever. Hired a car 1 month in advance - 4 hours before the booking got a call to say it would be another £335! Will never use againAVOID

Avoid!!
Avoid!!! Made payment of £££ then have an email to say payment not gone through must pay an increased higher amount although money had been taken. No booking but money taken. Customer service were not accountable, did not care & no resolution. Re car hire in CagliariDo not use! Ever

Called to cancel a trip to Belfast from…
Called to cancel a trip to Belfast from the U.K. mainland. Was informed by the company that the payment would be returned to by credit card in 20 working days. Note: everyone else, airport parking, flights etc. returned the costs within 5 days. Now 22 days later and still no refund. Rang and spoke with telephone operator who informed me that it could take 28 days (official email says different) and that’s for the payment to reach my account but a further 5 days for it to clear. Totally, unacceptable service from a company that I’ve used many times without any issues. Never again!!! Main companies from now on.

Terrible company borderline criminals
Terrible company, hard to work with, rejected bonus throuyQuidco for no reason and charged my credit card months after the hire for no reason. I’m still trying to find out why?!?Criminals!

We were charged nearly €300 at the counter at Goldcar, despite paying through angus carhire before hand, online. Unfortunately it was 9pm and we have a two year old, othwise we would have sorted out something else. DON'T GO NEAR THEM. I will never use again and use eve available platform to warn others. Have never been treated like this by a car hire company before.

AVOID AVOID, HIDDEN EXTRA CHARGES,
The tax was not included in the price and it did not show clearly about this.You had to click on the T+C's to find out about this. Other companies I was looking at included the tax or made it clear that this was not included.Angus car hire were very sneaky. WILL NOT USE AGAIN

They my be cheap but bad customer service
They my be cheap ! but there customer service rubbish taken money off me for car hire arrived at rental desk been told to wait 2 hours! then after that was told be another 1 hour contact them saying could do anything I had to get public transport or would off missed my meeting and now trying get money back off them after 5 weeks and contacting them 7 times still telling me they can not get hold off anybody to confirm I didn't get a car, contacted my bank they told me to tell them that if don't get a refund in 7 days your bank will claw money back for you ! they said that normally works. that didn't even get a reply so now my bank is getting back for me ,please don't use
