Just to be clear, this review is about the website Apartments.com. I was scammed by an advertiser on the site. The site has all kinds of listing. But BEWARE because many of those are scams. Apartments.com was not rude but did not care that it does not properly vet its users. Apartments.com had all the knowledge and information about the scammer, but would do NOTHING! I will, obviously, never use the site again, and neither should you.
Armature Lake Apts, Port Richey FlThis apt bldg is a mismanaged bed bugs, rodent, disease, ridden slum. Dogs of all sizes and poop everywhere.Theres pound out front that washes poop water everywhere A lease is just a piece of paper. They change the terms and keep billing you additional fees. DByrnes is the law there. My rent was changed 7 times.Fees every Friday notices traffic in your apt. The water is bad tried to have it tested..No ammenties filthy laundry and pool, no dishwashers Awful unkept dump. I became violently sick from living there. These diseases are from filth and poverty. The worst part is that they rent gouge and intimidate the renters.. when this place cannot even be classified as substandard.. it’s a horrible filthy slum.. with mngt that ill treats pristine Tenants paying TOP dollar for a slum.. This experience has forever changed my health and life. My health has been severely impacted due to filth. So much for retiring in Fl. If you don’t Run from this place you will regret that decision forever.
I have tried to submit a review 3 times now. It meets all requirements, but they keep kicking it backing stating, it "does not meet our guidelines".This company is not legit and only caters to the apartment complexes which pay them for ADVERTISING!
I have been using their free service, I have no issue with the basics and their customer service takes very long to reply. The True Leads service, when you post a rental property is not recommended, I compared leads from other site and this one which they claim they post in 4-5 other sites generates only 1 lead for me compared to the other popular competitors, so I'm not sure if $100 is worth to invest to the premium listing
Some as ApartmentFinder.com...Only interested in glowing reviews of the apartment companies who advertise on their websites. Not interested in actual reviews from current/past residents who did not have that glowing experience.
