Warning! Worst framed prints ever - don't buy!!!
Worst framed prints We've ever purchased. Artuk.orgWe regularly buy framed art prints for our Scottish holiday homes. Thousands of pounds, dozens of paintings purchased over 5 years. Sadly, our usual art supplier has stopped shipping to the UK so we needed to try out other services - ArtUK was one of them.We ordered 3 prints in the beginning of September, contacted them and they said they were quiet - we only received the last print today, 11th October after emailing back and forth for over a month...The first print received was of highland cows - the print is dark, dull and soft focus, a bit smaller than A2 so not massive. Could have taken a better photo of the real painting with my mobile.A larger waterlillies print, approx A1 square, none of the rich detail in the pastel shades our other prints of this artwork clearly show - dull colours, print artefacts and is very flimsy due to the poor frame quality for its size.The final painting which finally arrived today, five weeks after the order was placed, is smaller than A4 - I ordered A2 approx 2ft x 1.3ft. At smaller than A4, their print is still dark and is not tack sharp.Their customer service - I got a refund of £16.73 for reducing my A2 framed print to the less than A4 one that they shipped me.Do not buy prints from this company. Just don't.
