I have waited over a year for my book to be published. Now their phone number is not in service. I had paid to have my book illustrated and published. What a scam.

Scam!!
Scam!!! They took my money did no work and will not respond to any emails or calls!! All of them are scammers do not spend money. I’ve asked for a refund on several occasions and they never contact back.

They keep stop communicating unilaterally for more than (so far) two weeks, and charge monies for the service they never deliver. I cannot but assume they are not in good condition. Project managers keep leaving the company of get fired, new higher manager approached who also disappeared. Nobody pick up the phone

My Experience with Authors Time as a Hispanic Nonprofit AuthorI contracted Authors Time in May 2025 to publish an educational book aimed at empowering Hispanic homeowners and immigrant families. I submitted my manuscript on time and followed all requested procedures, including multiple briefing forms.Unfortunately, as of August, I have not received a single finalized deliverable. The project manager changed without notice, communication has been inconsistent, and repeated requests for a clear production timeline have gone unanswered.Despite my efforts—including emails, certified mail, and phone calls—I have been met with delays, vague promises, and no accountability. I have formally filed a report with the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) and initiated the chargeback process for failure to render services.This review is not written lightly. I am an author representing a nonprofit mission, not a commercial venture. I am also raising the question of whether the disregard shown may be partially due to the project being in Spanish—a possibility that, if true, would reflect poorly on the company’s values.I encourage other authors, especially those working in bilingual or social-impact contexts, to proceed with caution. My experience has been deeply disappointing and professionally damaging.

Publishing is a vicious ordeal. It’s anything but easy. And for a first timer, so confusing. I didn’t know what I was doing either, until these guys helped me figure it out.
