Battery is expensive, but arrived safely... Color matched battery cover was shipped separately... Battery dated nearly 2 years old and would prefer new stock versus old for the money spent... Older battery should be on sale for reduced cost in my opinion...
Level 2 are great bikes. Shipping was quick and assembly was easy. I own two of these bikes and have been happy with them.
I ordered a rear rack for my Aventon Pace 500 from Aventon Bikes. The rack was delivered within a few days. As a 72 year old great grandma, I was easily able to attach it to my bike myself! I ride approximately 50 miles per week with a ladies group and now I don't have to ask one of them to put my things in their bag, yay. I love the rack and was very pleased with the whole transaction.

I have not had a chance to ride the bike yet because it is winter and too cold yet here in Iowa. But the delivery and installation of bike instruction video was amazing and the bike is beautiful!
Once I figured out all the features the bike has been so much fun to ride. It gives just enough help in eco mode to help with hills but still allow me to get some exercise in. Highly recommend for novice to experienced riders.
I purchased my level in April of ‘21 and I like the handling and comfort of the frame and forks, and the bike looks great with the finished welds and grey/black finish. The hub motor is powerful enough to get me downtown and back, about 5 miles RT with a steep 200’ climb. However I have had to replace the ECU three times in 2100 miles of service. Aventon has been a big help the first time while still in warranty and the second time some limited help even though out of warranty. But now the third ECU blown and no help with the cost and now I have to pay full prices for upgraded display and cable. It’s a pretty crappy way to treat a customer in my opinion, and I’ve had CS roles my entire working career. A piece of equipment that costs $1.5k should last decades and thousands of miles, without the electronic components falling every 700 miles. $20 credit towards my purchase is an insult. A 50% discount and free freight would be more amenable in this situation. Aventon produced an inferior product and should be liable to make the bike functional.
