very poor personal service

I enquired about home insurance with AXA NI and was put through what seemed like an interrogation in regard to the date my house was built, and what type of slates were on the roof. I was asked to email evidence of the date the house was built which I sent there and then while still on the phone, and because it was through google this was not accepted. This was a very unpleasant and unnecessary experience and I was made to feel like I was being dishonest, despite having many years home insurance with no claims.

DAVE from AXA NI

I've had such a terrible time of things lately and trying to sort out a claim of my car as a result of arson attack was not made easy by some Customer service providers that being said I spoke with a lovely man this morning 10.10 20/01/26 his name was Dave that's all I know I rang into AXA customer service ni he was so helpful and very kind and helped me get on the right road for getting my car paid out for He was very compassionate about my Feelings as a result of this happening at my home and sympathised with me the loss of my brother that had just passed away suddenly This is definitely a very down to earth man , and a nice mannerism with him AXA this is Most definitely the type of customer service all your team should strive to be more like Well done Dave , for basically being human and listening and supporting

Such a bad service

Such a bad service, had me paying dearer insurance for 2 years because someone couldn’t input data correctly. And the customer service is terrible, how dare a customer need to ring that’s the attitude of them. Never have I ever had such a bad experience with car insurance. I would rather pay dearer than stay with Axa.

Northern Ireland's worst insurance…

Northern Ireland's worst insurance provider, particularly in Newtownabbey I don't understand how such dishonest people can work there, and the car specialists are qualified but lack specialization and knowledge, making them feel like experts despite their lack of automotive knowledge. Due to the company's excellent reputation in Europe, management should also pay attention to the type of individuals on the team who are tarnishing their reputation.

Spoke to Louise from AXAs Belfast…

Spoke to Louise from AXAs Belfast branch, think she was from Derry due to the accent. I don’t normally write reviews but she was very helpful and helped me renew my policy, great customer service from her. Was on the phone to her at 10:30 and rang her again at 2pm and she was just as helpful and cheery. Thanks Louise😊

Terrible company and customer service is awful, I always have to ring about 15 times and then they send me letters saying I have to ring them back because they've made a mistake.

Absolutely shocking company. Nobody knows what is going on and they are very rudeBeen arranging my insurance each year for over 45 years and never received worse service

Dealt with Jared for the 2nd time on Thursday and cannot thank him enough. He answered all of my many questions and his customer service is excellent! Will be using him again next year!

Appalling customer service provided…

Appalling customer service provided today by an unhelpful, arrogant and disrespectful AXA employee called Jack.Loyal customer of 15 years and have never claimed yet insurance renewal increases year on year. 6 times I asked to be referred to a manger. Yet none was available to take the call, then when I eventually got a complaint logged I was told they couldn’t guarantee that I would get a call back. Jack would not disclose who their complaints manager or customer service manager is so I think it may be best to send the whole board of management the complaint letter and maybe I might get a call back. Needless to say I shall be referring this to the Financial Ombudsman as this is something that they need to be aware of.AXA are very eager to take your money but provide very mediocre customer service. The amount of people who have experienced this behavior by them is also growing by the hour going by the amount of comments on my social media page.So people be aware of this company’s attitude to their customers.

Had an accident that wasn't my fault…

Had an accident that wasn't my fault nearly 6yrs ago. Other driver was also insured by axa (Happy days you would think, this should be smooth sailing) I am still waiting on a settlement to this day and am being forced to take Axa to court over this. Absolute scumbags at this company, happy to take your money as I was a customer for years but will do everything in their power to screw you and hold out on you that they can. Avoid at all costs!!

Horrible customer service

Been with Axa for the last 2 years and through 3 different cars. Never missed a payment until last month, then missed the payment due on december 2nd. They refuse to wait for the payment until next week and told me unless I pay the £2500 left on my policy by 6pm today then my insurance is cancelled.Unbelievable company with absolutely no care for customers. 0/10 will be taking out insurance with a different company

Horrible company

Horrible company. No real complaints department. I missed my renewal price by a few days for a honest reason. Wouldn’t allow me to have the renewal price and tried charging me an extra 200.Cheaper insurance companies out there with decent customer service.

DO NOT USE AXA for home insurance

If you can source home insurance anywhere else - PLEASE DO - DO NOT take a home insurance policy with AXA as you simply get a complete run-around when you contact for advise and recommendation for repair of an engagement ring. Contact first made in June, and now October, we have had a litany of unprofessional contact with a company nominated by AXA to work the claim. At our wits end 3 months later, we contacted AXA again to seek help and advise of the appalling poor service we have received - and despite all their promises of a call back within 2 days, we have had to call ourselves again now twice and are still not getting to speak to anyone or getting anywhere. Complete frustration, no service, no customer care and constant non-communication. Spend your money with another company - any other company.

Excellent company

I've been with AXA for a few years now, and honestly, I can't complain. I was shocked to read so many bad reviews. When I get my renewal every year, ok it's always more than the previous year, even with never making any claims. But when I speak to an agent, they always do there best to get the price down, and they have always came back with a discounted price. Ok!! I have had cheaper quotes on compare.com but to be honest, I would rather stay with a local company in Northern Ireland, that I can speak to over the phone. AXA always answer my calls.. Ok I've never had to claim. But I think if I ever did, at least I know, it's a local firm, and can be assured I'd get to speak to someone. I'd recommend them 100% So thank you AXA, and please thank the girl I spoke to today, she was very helpful.. Angela Glackin..

Customer service is appalling

Customer service is appalling. Very rude and did not admit their mistake. Asked me for a copy of my claims letter, submitted it on 26 Jul. Received a letter dated 08 Aug , arrived 19 Aug saying they are cancelling my insurance on 18th. I rang them to explain that I have already sent it through on 26 Jul and the guy was very condescending and basically did not want to hear my complaint. Poor poor service!

Love AXA

Fabulous they have a local office where you can talk face to face with an agent. Kerry Graham in the Bangor office is very patient and helpful. No waiting for hours on the phone ( all our agents are busy).

Triple insurance and refused to cancel it

Tripled my car insurance and refused to negotiate. No speeding no claims 6 years arbitrary decided to raise prices and refuse for months to try for cheaper. Went to admiral for a far cheaper quote. Also informed them I sold my van and to cancel the insurance immediately. Just got letter saying insurance was never cancelled and they want payment for it. Avoid axa at all costs complete scumbags.

With them many many years goes up every year but this year went up over 30% bringing it over a grand for someone driving 20 plus years no accidents and an other company doing it for half the price they said we don't match other companies wheres the customer loyalty?
