Nice gentleman answered questions very accurate
Gentleman, I believe his name was Howard, was very helpful and patient with me and took care of all of my needs.
He was amazing and was more than caring and helpful. I am a senior and not very technical. I can not say how pleased I was with the service I received.
The service provider was knowledgeable and gave me a clear and understandable response.
I called Bamboo directly and spoke to a customer service agent to change the auto payment information for my policy. I get an email the next day stating changes couldn't be make due to incorrect policy number given. How can this be when I spoke to their representative who said it was taken care of?Also, I cannot gain internet access. I've requested a password change but I never receive a link to do so. It's impossible to interact via internet unless you want to make a payment. They do not respond to calls on the weekends. How irresponsible for an insurance carrier!I hope I never have to file a claim with them. I can only imagine the difficulty that would entail.
Rep Hugo resolved my request upon me sending him request doc as we spoke on the phone & email.
Very informed thanks for the information
First, no customer service on weekends, which is not convenient. I have difficulties accessing Bamboo’s customer portal and have emailed and called Bamboo several times during weekdays but they did not resolve the technical issues at all. Nobody really provides substantive guidance and I don’t know why Bamboo sent the bill to my mortgage company rather than myself, since it’s me who purchased this homeowner insurance from Bamboo not mortgage company. Don’t understand the way Bamboo runs its business
Bamboo's policy holder's on-line access to policy information is awful.
CHARGED ME OVER $ 35.00 FOR PAYING WITH A CREDIT CARD. I GAVE MOHAMED (YOUR CUSTOMER SERVICE AGENT) BANK INFO FOR THE NEXT RENEWAL. IRREGARDLESS HE ASKED ME TO CALL IN MAY 2026 (RENEWAL DATE) TO MAKE SURE THE AUTO PAY WITH THE BANK INFO WAS IN.DID NOT WANT TO PROVIDE STREET NAME FOR THE FIRE POLICY. I HAVE MORE THAN 100 POLICIES, SO I HAD TO STARTED GIVING MOHAMED COMPLETE ADDRESSES, AND LUCKYLY WAS THE ADDRESS #6.I REQUESTED FEEDBACK, BUT HE DISCONECTED THE LINE.DON'T BOTHER WITH THEM. GET SAFECO (INSURANCE), THEY HAVE MUCH BETTER RATES AND DON'T GIVE YOU SO MUCH HASSLE.02/06/26Sorry but I'm not giving you policy numbers. You just need to correct your agent MOHAMED, or you are going to loose customers.
Representative was very helpful. she was efficient and sent me the declaration documents for our property insurances, and confirmed all were set up for auto pay.Thank you so much!
Charging a $10/monthy service fee is BS if I pay monthly... That's called a USER TAX. If your rates had not tripled in the last two years maybe I could pay all at once... Your rep was ZERO help, other than to tell me its just our policy. I said, do I get a $120 discount if I pay in full and the answer was WHAT??? Bamboo is just another money laundering insruance company with junk coverage an service
I was completely shocked that your company wanted to charge me over $40 just to pay with my credit card and have the nerve to tell me that my cc company was assessing this fee. I have paid my insurance bills for many years without a charge. In addition you charge a $70 fee for the policy.
no pain! Easy to Navigate
Your company prepared and (apparently) mailed out my premium bill, allowing 15 days from mailing to requiring it be paid at your office. The post office is now significantly slowing down mail. I received the notice 2 days before it was due. Your rep helped me deal with it.However, it is very important that you expand the notice / return process from 15 to 30 days to recognize the US Postal Service slowdown reality.
Good work good service
Customer ServiceNot great, and unable to resolve issue. Agent wasn't even empowered to make a decision regarding a $10 fee (that shouldn't have been assessed in the first place).
polite, answered all questions
Buyer beware. I don't want to spend too much time here because if people are reading this, it is probably too late for them. I have had property insurance with 3-4 companies spanning 35 years and never experienced anything like this. It is very reminiscent of the commercials where they say beware of shady insurance companies because in your worst hour, they will not be there for you. Bamboo Insurance is a good example of bait and switch as they were very helpful and nice initially, we supplied the information they requested, then they kept pushing for the claim off saying that they needed more time. They continued to say everything was good and the full amount was just waiting on final approval. The claim then got passed off to a second rep and the initial rep was no longer involved. Now they needed to verify the information, but everything was fine. About 2 months had past at this point. This new rep said similar things about the process…a check for the stated amount was all set and about to go out. Things were good, I was a little frustrated with the time, but I voiced that they did not include one aspect of the coverage and they immediately responded that they would not cover that because it was not warranted and clearly it was. But they kept saying things were good and then after 3 plus months a check for about 5% of the total amount showed up and they said the claim was being closed. I asked to see the policy language to support their denial and they have been trying to send it over for 2 months now and cannot find it. They would not connect us to anyone with a legal background. They were making up reasons to deny the claim and as we dispelled each reason, they would come up with something else. They finally gave it a generic name like "hard living” and used that as a catch-all to deny everything. Which makes no sense at all based on the claim or the situation. Going through the Department of Insurance now en route to most likely to full lawsuit.
Explaining procedures so simply and clearly. Which reduces stress in
