I’m writing this review on AFA Barranquilla Colombia location. My experience was better than expected the staff was very professional and helpful. The only problem I have is the prices for their services have more than tripled your first date will cost you over $500 just to go on a date with a total stranger and every single date after that will cost you $250 plus $20 an hour for a interpreter if you don’t speak Spanish and many many other hidden cost it’s not worth the trouble anymore.

It was my first time in Barranquilla…
It was my first time in Barranquilla and I loved it. I met a lot of people and interacted with beautiful women. It's fun, exciting, and everything positive. Barranquilla is a great city and the staff were tremendous. I recommend this to the single guys to get out there. It's a wonderful 5 star experience. I met somebody I like and we really got to know each other. Go have fun, have a great experience.

I had a na amazing date with a Latin woman in Barranquilla!
The women of Barranquilla were so attentive and fun to be around. I had one GREAT date. We went to two different locations and had dinner on the beach. It went very well. She didn't speak English too well, but the thing is we had a connection. We had fun and communicated while also asking each other questions using our interpreter. It didn't matter that we were in a different age group. We have great chemistry and well, the sky is the limit now.

Medellin was way more than I expected
Medellin was way more than I expected. I met some beautiful women. I went on date, after date, after date. And I promise if you go, you will really enjoy it. I'm from Mississippi. If a person from the south can go down and do this, you can do it too. For marriage, for friendship. Whatever you like. Just go and check it out for yourself. One thing is for certain, they're not there trying to get a green card, a U.S. passport or none of that. These are people just like you are trying to find their soulmate. Give it a try. I'm glad I did.

I noticed that the girls in Barranquilla are different in a few ways. They're more open-minded, but I've found all of the Colombian women to be honest and straightforward. One of the reasons I chose Baranquilla was that I liked a lot of the ladies' profiles that I saw. They were agreeable to me. I would say if you're thinking about it, don't hesitate. It's a great experience. You won't regret it. It's a great value and you'll no doubt meet some very, very special ladies.

Scammy but retreat might be legit. Don't suggest it
I cannot speak on the actual retreats, maybe they are legit. However, the site and communication is def not legit. The intro letters are automated and computer generated, which is to be expected. The responses also seem completely company driven. In short, you get an intro letter from a bunch of women. It costs $5 to open them. You can then respond to a woman with a letter. The letter costs $10 to send, and additional money if you exceed the character limits. If she sends you an additional letter in response, it costs $10 to read and if you want to see additional info or pictures that she attaches, those attachments each have a fee to open. You'll have to correspond at least a few times to have a realistic conversation with someone where you can get a feel for them, then you'd want to set up a date or video call to meet them 1 on 1 or in a group retreat through the agency. The video call has another high fee and the retreats have a high fee of $3k+ to go to a country for 5-7 days and meet a bunch of women. This is the idea of the site. The problem is the correspondense is obviously just up-selling you to write them forever and open expensive attachments. Whenever you try to advance to a video call or something to lock them in and move forward, they suggest that they need to get to know you a little more before chatting on video and you can never get passed the fabricated responses. The only reason I wont give this service a 1 star is for 2 reasons. 1.) I know for a fact that at least some of the girls are real because I've matched w some of them on tinder, and have talked with them on Instagram before I saw their profiles on the agency and their information matches up 2.) I actually do think the retreats are real, but they're very expensive and who knows if you'll actually see the girls you've been talking to the whole time? The goal of this whole site is to get you to buy an expensive retreat package, nothing else. And for that reason it's very scammy in my opinion. I wouldn't suggest risking it.
