The BelMarraHealth allows no reader feedback and has confusing articles.
On the BelMarraHealth web site there is an article :Blood pressure differences when lying down, standing up, and sitting, Written by Dr. Victor Marchione, Published on May 6, 2016.Stating that,”Records show that diastolic pressure is about 55mm/Hg lower when taking blood pressure lying down vs. sitting.” Later in the article Under a section labeled ,”Blood pressure lying down (supine position) vs. standing” appears the following statement .”Systolic pressure is listed over diastolic, such as 120 over 80, which is normal blood pressure. “ The fact that it is written under that section would tent to have the reader believe that 120 over 80 is normal while lying down So 120 lying down plus 55 higher while sitting is a total of 175 sounds very high to me .It is also stated that the best solution it to take blood pressure lying down , sitting ,and standing but there is no statement as to the normal range for each position, only range is given and taken in contents it is wrong! This article only serves to confuse the reader further .
