poor service after the sale, try to get a part for an amp. They are slow and when you get it it is wrong. So call and they want to argue with you about it. well not my way so I will trash there sorry item and go with a company that knows how to fix an issue. They need trained people and better order dept.

Speakers leak and BOSS Audio won't honour warranty
I bought the B82ABT and have been disappointed with the audio quality and volume. They are IPX5 rated according to their description but the speakers filled with water from rain alone, so clearly not true. Now the board is fried from water.BOSS audio won't honour their warranty despite it being just over 1 year (within 3 years with professional installation) and have simply stated that they won't replace and haven't given a specific reason and now refuse to communicate. The worst customer service and the warranty is not worth the paper it's written on.I later learned that although they titled it as an 800watt pair of speakers, the subtitle says they are 200 watts per speaker which means you need to buy x2 pairs of speakers to get the 800watts. That's like selling a car as having 1000hp, but only if you buy two of them. It's misleading marketing.

Most Unprofessional Experience With Customer Support
I have a whole 27 page document of emails. I bought a BOSS BCPA14 for my partner. Not even a month after getting it, the digitizer went. I contacted BOSS audio, and they told me first that they required me to DAMAGE THE RADIO so they could send me a new one. I broke the screen, they claimed photoshop. I sent another one. And after being told that only breaking the screen was acceptable, they THEN insisted that I CUT THE WIRES TO THE RADIO, DESTROY THE PINS AND CONNECTORS, ETC. I did everything I was told, and now I'm being told no replacement. I got told by "Christian" from BOSS that it was "Entirely your (my) fault." The only helpful individual was William. I am appalled at the unprofessionalism offered by this company and horrified that A company can get away with this.

Nightmare after nightmare
I purchased the Boss BVNV9384RC on Amazon and after installing it (which took a lot longer than expected due to Crutchfield and other sites NOT listing all of the harnesses that are needed to get it working with my truck) I found that the RDS feature was not working. I contacted Boss support who said that because of the plandemic that they could not get the RDS chips and that they "scrubbed their website and packaging to remove this". I sent them a picture of the box which lists this as a feature. They "found" a replacement in the warehouse and after installing this one has been a COMPLETE nightmare. The deck constantly resets itself and I lose all of my presets. If I shut off my truck and the deck is on AM, when I start back up there is nothing but static until I switch to FM and then back to AM. However, that posed a problem because the touch screen is unresponsive most of the time. After contacting them again, they had me factory reset the deck and made things FAR worse. The audio was terrible and all the other problems were still present. Boss offered to replace the deck again. I asked if RDS would still be in the replacement deck which they assured me that it would. They sent me instructions for their new "field destroy" process where you smash the deck and send them pictures for them to replace the deck. It was at this time that they divulged that RDS is not an option on the replacement.I've been in IT for ~20 years and any manufacturer that I've either worked for or dealt with will always either replace with the same product (like for like) or upgrade you to another product if they no longer have the one you purchased in stock; however, the replacement always has the same or better specs. Not Boss. Worst purchase I've ever made and regret every second of this purchase so far.Side note: I'm not impressed with the deck to begin with. The features seem poorly designed and not well thought out. For instance the time is much smaller than all other fonts on the screen and in a gray color which makes it difficult to see on a black background. You cannot change the background either even though there are theme options, but those are for a different function. Don't waste your money!

I have purchased 2 double din head…
I have purchased 2 double din head units from Boss. Each has its very own demons. Contacted customer service and got nothing but a run around bs story. Save your money and save yourself grief. Stay away from this company. If the price is too good to be true for Carplay their is a reason why.

Unfair Return Policy. TUBE POOR SOUND
I received the boss TUBE audio system as a gift. After trying the TUBE for a few weeks, I knew that I could not enjoy the tinny, treble sound. The bass is barely audible. I tried to get a refund, but the purchaser had bought it two weeks before Christmas. By the time I tried it out, the 30 day period was over (even though I had it for only three weeks). I'm stuck with the poor sounding soeaker. They said even if I got the receipt from the purchaser, it's past the 30 days for a refund.So. Avoid the company, and avoid the TUBE audio speaker.

A speaker mount broke
A speaker mount broke. Attempted to order one thought the Boss Audio "Technical Support". The automated tech support answering system stated that I was caller 'zero' and my call would be answered in the order my call was received. After 30 minutes of waiting I pressed '1' for call me when a customer support agent is available. They called about an hour later and asked for my email address and stated that instructions for ordering would be sent via email. After 12 hours no email was received (nor in the spam box). So I submitted a request via their form on their tech support webpage. As of 24 hours I've only received a response stating that my inquiry had been received. Fairly worthless Tech Support and Customer Support.

Unreliable, poor quality merchandise
I paid good money for a Boss Audio radio/CD player/GPS for my car to replace the car's original system. About a year ago, the touch screen would simply not respond. This could be fixed by resetting the system and performing a touch calibration. More recently, however, the problem kept recurring and now the touch screen barely responds at all. Now I have to pay to replace it (with another manufacturer's brand) because of poor quality and reliability. I am having a shop install the competitor's model this coming Monday and throw the Boss product in the electronic recycling bin where it seems to belong.

Poor quality car stereos from Boss audio
I bought 6 Boss audio car stereos models 750BRGB as a special in pairs at Amazon.com. Since proper installations of all 6, for myself and friends, 3 have failed in the following ways: One no longer ejects the CD and continues to repeat the eject mode rendering it useless including using the radio. Another failed after a hot summer day in my truck and no longer would power up in any mode, radio, clock, CD player etc. Another lost the radio station presets and would no longer accept presets. These failures in all three occurred just after the warranty expired. It appears that quality control in their manufacturing in China is not part of Boss Audio's contractual obligations in their China connection. Contacting Boss audio service directly yielded no retribution in replacement, or refund in lieu of a 50% failure in the products they sell. In humor, I say this company is like a giant vacuum cleaner with promises of quality products, taking your money on special model offers, giving no replacements for their defective products or refunds to compensate for poor quality control in the manufacturing process of their products. In summation I say in the vernacular, their company "SUCKS!!!" Dr. Darryl Luke Pokea, Psychologist for 36 years

I warned Boss Audio
I warned Boss Audio that screwing with me would cost them more money in lost customers than honoring their warranty. The Boss Audio radio I bought and had installed at Best Buy is trash. It doesn't retain settings, it drops GPS connectivity constantly and is basically a waste of money. HERE'S WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW: their warranty process is this; they want you to pay for a new radio, then send the head unit in for repairs. Once they get your radio and repair it, they'll refund your money for the replacement.

Still hitting strong after 5 years
I've been using Boss Audio stuff for over 5 years. They sound great and price is unbeatable. I gave started use their product, because it came with more bells and whistles for the same price range as other companies. For sure it was best bang for the buck from my research. I've had a DVD car head unit's touch screen didn't work one month before the warranty expired. Their customer service set everything up sent me the shipping labels right away. I asked them if I could upgrade to their newer model and they said I could by just pay for the difference in price. Their customer service has been always awesome. they helped me when I was having trouble installing before also. Good price, quick warranty service and awesome customer service, how can you go wrong? I've been burnt by internet retailers customer service, which is non existence (or very very hard to find the link on their website) too many times, but these guys are very good!
